144 Lumened Instruments in 29mins (with Sonic Irrigation™) Specifications ® Use Sonic Irrigation™ – Energy for Cleaning A unique and patented process allows a sonically charged jet of fluid to pass along the inside of hollow instruments. This ensures that your instruments are exposed to ultrasonic cleaning and a pulsed flushing or turbulent wash on all surfaces, interior and exterior. For internal and external cleaning of fine surgical instruments and other lumen instruments Dimensions External H: 2350mm (86.7in) W: 1150mm (45.3in) D: 1087mm (42.8in) Capacity 5 Level Standard Carrier 20 baskets 10 Full DIN baskets 10 Half DIN baskets Electrical 380-415Vac 50Hz (3N+PE) 380-415Vac 60Hz (3N+PE) Water Supply Softened cold and hot water (Option for DI or RO water) Air Supply 6-8 bar Environmental For indoor use at altitudes up to 2000m. Operating temperature 10OC to 40OC. Humidity - 80% RH max for temperatures up to 31OC, decreasing linearly to 50% RH at 40OC. Designed for pollution degree 2, i.e. not totally sealed. Construction Outer Casing: Detergent – Chemicals for Cleaning The detergent/cleaning solution is delivered under pressure to the inside of the instrument. All air pockets are removed ensuring the cleaning solution can make contact with all surfaces and therefore facilitating the removal of all soil and bio-burden. WORLD LEADERS IN ADVANCED SURGICAL INSTRUMENT REPROCESSING TECHNOLOGY - it does the job of TWO conventional machines... But how does the work? ® The offers an exceptionally fast The is a proven work horse, delivering process of < 29 minutes** (better if optimised) repeatable, validated processes every 29 minutes** for both complex and general instrumentation. or less – its outstanding performance will leave you Its unique “Dual Delivery™” system ensures with time for trauma, anesthesia, containers, shoes high pressure fluid is fed to each and every and other more conventional or general instruments lumened or cannulated instrument while the too. (**Tested and validated 5 level carrier for instruments with Sonics A0 2 1 3 4 High Volume Throughput - 144 Complex/ Lumened Instruments in 29 Minutes** The Niagara™ has been validated with a full load of 144 complex lumened instruments on a five level carrier system using 15 trays. The process time includes pre-wash/wash/Sonic Irrigation™/wash/ rinse/disinfection and drying - this is all achieved in 29 minutes**. The process can be further optimised for containers etc to reduce cycle time. The Niagara™ is compatible with most normal hospital requirements. A NON-ultrasonic cycle can be preselected if there are concerns over some instruments and their compatibility with ultrasonic’s – ( older phaco hand pieces for example… ). 3000 with complex lumened instruments..) (Faster for containers etc). Sonic Irrigation™ ־48 Instruments Full Ultrasonic Immersion To achieve effective Sonic Irrigation™ – the lower levels of the wash carrier are fully immersed and accordingly up to 48 instruments per load can be sonically irrigated and ultrasonically pre-cleaned within the process time. Dual Delivery™ – High Pressure Lumen Flushing The Niagara delivers fluid to the wash arms and to the lumen devices independently. This allows an exceptionally high pressure to be achieved for cleaning, making it possible to wash and disinfect 144 complex/lumened instruments. “Soft Shot™” - Lumened Instrument Air Purge Powerful jets of air are pulsed along inside the instruments resulting in a “Soft Shot™” or pulse of purified air that uses residual heat to help ensure that even the inside of the instruments are processed properly. “Twin Turbo™” - Optimised Laminar Air Flow In addition to the Niagara’s™ heated air system, the chamber heat is cleverly re-used to ensure energy efficiency. Computers monitor the airflow around the chamber, making minor adjustments to maintain the highest efficiency possible. SIDE VIEW Load Pre-Wash & Wash Wash & Disinfection Drying The carrier is gently positioned into the on the un-clean side... High pressure jets of fluid clean up to 144 lumened instruments, while the lower level (48 instruments) are also subjected to Sonic Irrigation™ and ultrasonic cleaning.* A combination of conventional deluge washing and high pressure flushing takes place using high impingement wash arms and “Turbo Spinner’s™”* to ensure maximum cleanability. “Twin Turbo™” fans carefully deliver a computer controlled flow of air around the inside of the chamber, ensuring both low energy consumption and high efficiency resulting in a reduced drying time. The automatically recognises the carrier system and selects the correct wash process for the load. A unique combination of conventional washing, ultrasonic cleaning and Sonic Irrigation™ significantly improves cleaning efficiency. A0 or preset disinfection time can be selected to achieve the desired A0 level. The quietly raises the load from wash position and lowers the door as the cycle alarm flashes. The load is presented at the clean side. The carrier (wash load) is automatically lowered into the wash chamber, allowing the lower level to be submerged ready for Sonic Irrigation™ and ultrasonic cleaning. Use a non-ultrasonic cycle for instruments that maybe adversely effected by ultrasonic cleaning.
