SUMMARY The March Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods in
SUMMARY
The March Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods in Poznań attracted
almost 280 exhibitors from 15 countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Czech
Republic, China, France, Greece, the Netherlands, India, Germany, Pakistan,
Poland, Portugal, Turkey and Great Britain. The trade fair offers were admired
by traders from 22 countries. The total number of visitors at the fair
exceeded 7 thousand.
Poland ’s largest meeting of the leather and
footwear sector results from long-term
cooperation and mutual trust. We would like
to thank our exhibitors, partners and traders
visiting the show for this trust.
The exposition abounded in patterns and
colours on three trade fair days. Shoes – both
for adults and children – amazed with a variety
of shapes, innovative construction solutions and
an array of colours. Colours turn out to become more significant in the world of
fashion. The exhibitors also offered leather coats and jackets in all shades of
bronze – from delicate beige through reddish bronze up to dark brown. (Fur
collars, cuffs and refined leather accessories added elegance to some collections.)
On the one hand, many collections were dominated with subdued colours. On the
other hand, intensive red products were also aplenty.
The offer of the tanning industry surprised with a wide range of colours. Leather
attracted visitors with deep shades of silver and gold and with original textures.
Handbags, belts and gloves presented an array of colours and forms and
sometimes amazed with the leather texture and finish. The exhibition also included
machinery and accessories for footwear production.
The richness and quality of the trade fair offers is proven by the number of PIF
Gold Medals presented to the exhibitors of the spring edition of the Fair of Shoes,
Leather and Leather Goods. As many as 20 products received this prestigious
award for top quality offers with unique properties.

competition entitled: AROUND THE WORLD IN POLISH SHOES.
