LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Knowledge
W1 - Students should be familiar with the history of the beginnings of medicine, indigenous peoples and ancient
civilizations, as well as the characteristic features of medieval medicine. Students should also know the
characteristics of modern medicine and its main findings and the formation of the new medical disciplines
together with the achievements of the leading representatives of the Polish
Skills
U1 - Student should be responsible for improving own qualifications and transfer knowledge to others.
Furthermore, should recognize own limitations, define lack of knowledge and learning needs, and plan individual
educational activity. Students should also critically analyze the medical literature, including English, and draw
conclusions based on the available literature.

K1 - The student understands and is able to use the knowledge in the Polish and world history of medicine
