several cities in Norway, in Poland (Sopot) and India (Delhi).
VB Polska is a subsidiary of Forlagshuset Vigmostad & Bjørke with 43 employees.
We develop and distribute knowledge for use in teaching and professional growth
for nursery, primary, secondary, adult and higher education. We also provide IT and
accounting services for group companies in Norway.
To strengthen the chain office for our 35 campus bookstores in Norway we are seeking a new colleague in Sopot:
PURCHASER INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC LITERATURE
Qualifications
• Experience from academic bookstore or from university library and the purchase of books
• E xperience from publishing industry is an advantage
• Good excel and computer skills
• The working language will be English. Knowledge of Norwegian or Scandinavian language is an advantage
but not a requirement
Personal attributes
• You are structured, tidy, fast, and like to see the result of the work you perform
• Works well in team with colleagues in Norway and Poland
Work assignments
• Daily import of books and ongoing contact with providers and customers
• Obtain knowledge of the publishers, distributors and availability of titles
• Record of orders in different purchasing portals
• Record of delivery of goods
• Monitoring of good returns
