Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality
product. These operating instructions are a part of
this product. They contain important information in
regard to safety, use and disposal. Before using the
product, familiarise yourself with all of these operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as
described and only for the specified areas of application. In addition, pass these documents on, together
with the product, to any future owner.

The coffee machine is intended exclusively for brewing
coffee. This coffee machine is intended exclusively
for use in private households. Do not use it commercially. This appliance in intended only for indoor use.

Safety instructions
Delivery Contents
Danger of electric shock!
• Connect the appliance only to correctly installed
and earthed mains sockets.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket when you
move the appliance, fill it with water, if it malfunctions, before cleaning it and when it is not in use.
• Never submerse the appliance in liquids. Should
liquids nonetheless permeate into the appliance
housing, immediately remove the plug from the
wall socket. Arrange for it to be repaired by qualified specialists.
• Never grasp the appliance, the power cable or
the power plug with wet hands.
• To disconnect, always pull the plug itself out of
the power socket, do not pull on the power cable.
• Do not fold or crush the power cable.

Before taking the appliance into use check to ensure
that all of the items listed have been supplied and
that there are no visible signs of damage.

• Always check the power cable and plug before
use. To reduce potential risks in the event of
damage to the power cable, arrange for it to be
examined and repaired as soon as possible by
the manufacturer, by Customer Services or by
a similarly qualified person.

• Do not hold your hands in the rising steam.
• Never move/transport the appliance during the
brewing process.
• Remove the glass carafe first when the brewing
process is complete and the filter has fully drained
itself.
• Always close the lid before switching the coffee
machine on, there exists a risk of scalds from
steam and hot water..
Risk of fire!
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in
use.
• Never operate the appliance without water.
• Never place the appliance near sources of heat.
• Do not use extension cables. In the event of danger,
the plug must be quickly and easily accessible.
• Do not use an external timing switch or a separate
remote control system to operate the appliance.
Caution:
To avoid damage to the appliance!
• Fill the water tank of the appliance exclusively
with freshly drawn mains water.
• No liabilty will be accepted for damage caused
by glass breakage!
Risk of personal injury!
Before the first usage
• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restricted physical,
physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiences
in experience and/or knowledge unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or receive from this person instruction in
how the appliance is to be used.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• Lay the power cable in such a way that no one
can tread on or trip over it.
Important:
Never fill the appliance with water beyond the maxmarking (12 cups). The appliance could overflow.
• Before the first use, pass 12 cups of water
through the appliance. Do not insert a filter
bag and do not use any coffee powder.
• Clean the appliance (see chapter "Cleaning
and Care").
Risk of scalding!
• Never open the lid of the coffee machine during
the brewing process.
• Do not handle the hot filter bag. Remove the filter
bag first when the coffee has drained away and it
has cooled down. Use the filter holder to remove
the filter bag.
Programming the time
• Press the PROG 6 button.
CLOCK appears on the display 8.
• Repeatedly press the button HOUR 4 for hours,
resp. the button MIN 5 for minutes, until the correct
time is programmed in.

• Wait for approx. 15 seconds. The indicator
CLOCK disappears from the display 8.
The time display is now programmed.

• Press the button PROG 6 twice, so that only the
time is to be seen in the display 8. The time
display is now programmed.

• When the brewing process is finished you can
remove the glass carafe q and serve the coffee.
If you do not wish to serve the coffee immediately,
allow it to stand in the coffee machine.
The keep-warm plate 0 will keep the coffee
warm for 60 minutes. After 60 minutes the coffee
machine switches itself off automatically.
• If you wish to switch the coffee machine off
manually, press the button ON/AUTO/OFF 7
twice so that the integrated blue indicator lamp
glows constantly. After approx. 15 seconds this
extinguishes. The coffee machine is now
switched off.
Note:
If the coffee machine is separated from mains power
(or subject to a short power failure), the programmed
time is saved for a maximum of 15 seconds. In the
event of a longer separation from mains power, the
time must be reprogrammed.
Note:
Allow the coffee machine to cool down for approx.
5 minutes before commencing a further brewing
process or filling it with water.
Making coffee
Avoid brewing less than 4 cups of coffee. Otherwise,
the coffee will not have the desired temperature
and strength.
Timer-Function
• Open the lid 1 and insert a filter bag (Size 1x4)
with folded over sides into the filter holder 2.
Using the measuring spoon w place coffee
powder into the filter bag. Subject to taste, you
will require approx one level measuring spoon w
of coffee powder per cup. A level measuring
spoon w approximates to about 5,5 gr of coffee
powder.
• Fill the water tank 3 with the required amount
of water. For this, use the scale 9.
Never fill the appliance with water beyond the
max-marking (12 cups).
• Close the lid 1, ensuring that it engages.
• Place the glass carafe q in the coffee machine.
• Press the button ON/AUTO/OFF 7 to start the
brewing process. The red indicator lamp integrated
into the ON/AUTO/OFF button 7 glows.
By use of the button PROG 6 you can programme
the coffee machine so that it starts the brewing process
at a pre-determined time. First, ALWAYS place coffee powder in the filter bag in the filter holder 2
and water into the water tank 3.Place the glass
carafe q in the coffee machine. Ensure that the
water tank 3 is not filled beyond the Max. marking
(12 cups).
• Press the button PROG 6 twice, so that TIMER
appears in the display 8.
• Programme in the desired start time with the button
HOUR 4 and the button MIN 5 (see chapter
"Setting the Time").
• When the desired start time has been programmed
in, press the button ON/AUTO/OFF 7 twice.
The integrated blue indicator lamp blinks and
indicates thereby that the Timer is programmed.
The coffee machine starts the brewing process
at the programmed time.

Removing scale
• If you wish to deactivate the Timer, press the
button ON/AUTO/OFF 7 again so that the
integrated blue indicator lamp glows constantly.
Remove scale from the coffee machine at regular
intervals.
The required descaling intervals can, subject to water
hardness, be very variable. Scale removal is already
necessary after ca. 30 brewing processes with hard
water, after ca. 60 brewing processes with soft water.
Your local water supplier will inform you about the
water hardness level in your locality.
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning, always remove the plug from the
wall power socket.
Risk of electric shock!
Use only scale removal products that are suitable
for coffee makers and pay heed to the instructions
for use.
The procedure for scale removal is:
Before you clean the coffee machine you must remove
the plug from the mains power socket.
Attention!
Never submerse the coffee machine in water or other
fluids.
1. Place the scale removal product in the water
tank 3.
2. Insert the amount of water detailed in the usage
instructions for the descaler (max. 12 cups).
3. Press the button ON/AUTO/OFF 7 to start the
brewing process. The integrated red indicator
lamp glows.
4. Wait until the water for approx. 2 cups has passed
through and then stop the brewing process by
pressing twice on the button ON/AUTO/OFF 7.
The integrated blue indicator lamp glows constantly and goes out after approx. 15 seconds.
5. Allow the descaling medium to stand for 15 minutes.
6. Repeat the steps 3 to 5 three times.
7. Then restart the brewing process and wait until
all of the solution has passed through.
8. Rinse the coffee machine through 3 times with
fresh water. All of the descaling medium residues
will then be removed and you can once again
use the coffee machine.
Risk of Burns!
Always wait until the coffee machine has cooled
down before cleaning it.
• Do not use household detergents or sharp/pointed
objects to remove soiling. These could damage
the appliance.
• Wipe the housing of the coffee machine and the
glass carafe with a soft cloth lightly moistened
with a soapy solution.
• After every brewing process remove the filter bag
from the filter holder 2.
• Remove the filter and rinse the filter holder 2
and the glass carafe q under running water.
• In cases of stubborn soiling, clean the filter
holder 2, measuring spoon w and the glass
carafe q in a mild dishwashing solution.
Rinse them off with clear water.
If you do not intend to use the coffee machine for
an extended period, stow the power cable in the
cable shaft at the rear of the coffee machine and
insert the power plug into the designated holes on
the cable shaft.

Disposal
The coffee machine is not working:
• The appliance is not switched on. Press the button
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 to switch the appliance on.
• The plug is not inserted into a power socket.
Connect the appliance with the mains.
Push the power plug into the wall socket.
Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the European directive
2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal
centre.
The brewing process does not start at the
desired time (Timer):
• The timer is not activated. To activate the timer,
press twice on the button ON/AUTO/OFF 7.
• The time is not correctly programmed. Check the
time entered and, if necessary, re-programme it.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an
environmentally responsible manner.
The coffee is too strong/too weak:
• There is too little/too much water in the water
tank 3.
Fill it with the correct amount of water.
• It is filled with too much/too little coffee powder.
Fill it with less/more coffee powder.
• The coffee powder is too finely/too coarsely
ground. Select a different grade of grinding
for your coffee powder.
Warranty and Service
With this appliance you receive a warranty of 3 years
from the date of purchase. This appliance has been
manufactured with care and thoroughly tested before
delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the
case of a warranty claim, please make contact by
telephone with our service department. Only in this
way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, not for transport damages,
worn parts or for damage to fragile components,
e.g. buttons or batteries.. This product is for private
use only and is not intended for commercial use.
If this product has been subjected to improper or
inappropriate handling, abuse, or modifications
not carried out by one of our authorised service
centres, the warranty will be considered void.
The brewing process takes unusually long.
The appliance switches itself off during the brewing
process.
The appliance is becoming louder when brewing.
There is excessive steam.
• The brewing system of the appliance is calcified.
Descale the appliance as described under
"Removing scale".

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs effected under warranty. This applies also to replaced
and repaired parts. Damages or defects discovered
after purchase are to be reported directly after unpacking, at the latest two days after the purchase

Niebezpieczeństwo odniesienia

• Urządzenie nie jest przeznaczone do użytkowania
przez osoby (w tym dzieci) z ograniczoną sprawnością fizyczną, sensoryczną bądź umysłową
lub nieposiadające doświadczenia i / lub wiedzy,
chyba że będą one przebywały pod opieką
osoby odpowiedzialnej za ich bezpieczeństwo
lub uzyskają od niej wskazówki dotyczące właściwego używania urządzenia.
• Nie można pozwolić dzieciom na zabawę urządzeniem.
• Kabel sieciowy układaj w taki sposób, by nikt się
o niego nie potknął.
Ostrzeżenie przed poparzeniami!
• W czasie parzenia kawy nigdy nie otwieraj
pokrywy ekspresu do kawy.
• Nie dotykaj gorącej torebki filtra. Torebkę filtra
wyrzuć dopiero po spłynięciu całej kawy i ostygnięciu torebki. Do wyjmowania torebek filtra używaj wkładu filtra.
Nigdy nie nalewaj do zbiornika więcej wody, niż
potrzeba do zaparzenia 12 filiżanek kawy. W przeciwnym razie może dojść do przelania się urządzenia.
• Przed pierwszym użyciem przelej przez ekspres
12 filiżanek bez zaparzania kawy. Nie wkładaj
filtra ani nie wsypuj kawy.
• Wyczyść urządzenie (zobacz rozdział „Czyszczenie i konserwacja”).
Ustawianie czasu
• Naciśnij przycisk PROG 6. Na wyświetlaczu 8
wyświetla się napis CLOCK.
• Naciskaj przycisk HOUR 4 do ustawiania godzin,
wzgl. MIN 5 do ustawianie minut dotąd, aż
ustawi się prawidłowy czas.

• Odczekaj około 15 sekund. Napis CLOCK na
wyświetlaczu 8 znika. W tym momencie czas
jest ustawiony.

• Naciśnij przycisk PROG 6 dwa razy tak, by na
wyświetlaczu 8 wyświetlała się sama godzina.
W tym momencie czas jest ustawiony.
Wskazówka:
W przypadku odłączenia ekspresu do kawy od
zasilania elektrycznego (lub w przypadku krótkiej
przerwy w dostawie prądu), ustawiony czas pozostanie zapamiętany przez maksymalnie 15 sekund.
W przypadku dłuższej przerwy ustawienia trzeba
będzie wprowadzić ponownie.
Przygotowywanie kawy
Unikaj sytuacji, kiedy potrzeba zaparzyć mniej niż
4 filiżanki kawy. Kawa nie będzie wtedy miała dostatecznej temperatury i aromatu.
• Otwórz pokrywę 1 i załóż papierowy filtr (rozmiar 1x4) zagiętymi bokami do wkładu filtra 2.
Łyżeczką z miarką w wsyp do papierowego
filtra odmierzoną ilość kawy. Na jedną filiżankę
potrzeba – w zależności od indywidualnego
smaku – jedną ściętą łyżeczkę z miarką w kawy.
Jedna ścięta łyżeczka z miarką w odpowiada
w przybliżeniu 5,5 g kawy.
• Do zbiornika na wodę 3 wlej odpowiednią ilość
wody. Ilość wody odmierz na skali 9. Nigdy
nie wlewaj więcej wody, niż pokazuje zaznaczenie MAX (12 filiżanek).
• Zamknij pokrywę 1 tak, by się zatrzasnęła.
• Wstaw szklany dzbanek q do ekspresu.
• Naciśnij przycisk ON/AUTO/OFF 7, by rozpocząć parzenie kawy. Zapala się czerwona
lampka kontrolna wbudowana w przycisk
ON/AUTO/OFF 7.

• Po zakończeniu parzenia kawy możesz wyjąć
szklany dzbanek q i nalać kawę do filiżanek.
Zostaw szklany dzbanek w ekspresie, jeśli będziesz chciał podać kawę w późniejszym czasie.
Płytka podgrzewająca 0 podtrzymuje ciepło
kawy przez ok. 60 minut. Po upływie 60 minut
ekspres do kawy wyłączy się automatycznie.
• By ręcznie wyłączyć ekspres do kawy, naciśnij
przycisk ON/AUTO/OFF 7 2 razy tak, by zapaliła się wbudowana niebieska lampka kontrolna.
Po upływie około 15 sekund lampka kontrolna
zgaśnie. W tym momencie ekspres do kawy jest
wyłączony.
Wskazówka:
Przed kolejnym włączeniem ekspresu do kawy lub
nalaniem wody zaczekaj około 5 minut, aż urządzenie ostygnie.
Funkcja Timer
Za pomocą przycisku PROG 6 możesz tak ustawić
ekspres do kawy, by urządzenie rozpoczęło parzenie
kawy o określonym czasie. Zawsze najpierw wsyp
kawę do papierowego filtra we wkładzie filtra 2 i
wlej wodę do zbiornika na wodę 3. Postaw szklany
dzbanek q na ekspres do kawy. W zbiorniku na
wodę 3 nie może być więcej wody, niż do zaznaczenia MAX (12 filiżanek).
• Naciśnij przycisk PROG 6 2 razy, aż na wyświetlaczu 8 wyświetli się TIMER.
• Przyciskiem HOUR 4 i przyciskiem MIN 5
ustaw czas włączenia (zobacz rozdział „Ustawianie czasu”).
• Po ustawieniu czasu naciśnij przycisk ON/AUTO/
OFF 7 2 razy. Wbudowana niebieska lampka
kontrolna miga, sygnalizując w ten sposób ustawienie zegara. O ustawionym czasie ekspres do
kawy włączy się i rozpocznie parzenie kawy.
• By wyłączyć zegar, naciśnij jeden raz przycisk
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 tak, by wbudowana niebieska lampka kontrolna zapaliła się na stałe.

Czyszczenie i konserwacja
Usuwanie osadów z kamienia
Przed przystąpieniem do czyszczenia zawsze wyciągnij wtyczkę sieciową z gniazdka.
W regularnych odstępach czasu usuwaj z urządzenia
osady z kamienia.
Częstotliwość usuwania osadów z kamienia zależy
od stopnia twardości wody. W przypadku wody o
dużej twardości usunięcie osadów z kamienia może
być już potrzebne pod 30 użyciach. Przy niższej
twardości wody może być to konieczne po około

kawy, a także przestrzegaj instrukcji stosowania
tych środków.
W jaki sposób należy usuwać osady z kamienia:
Nigdy nie wkładaj ekspresu do kawy pod wodę ani
inne ciecze.
Niebezpieczeństwo poparzenia!
Przed przystąpieniem do czyszczenia ekspresu do
kawy, zawsze zaczekaj, aż urządzenie ostygnie.
• Do usuwania zanieczyszczeń nigdy nie używaj
domowych środków czyszczących ani żadnych
szorujących wzgl. ostro zakończonych przedmiotów. Mogłoby to spowodować uszkodzenie
ekspresu do kawy.
• Obudowę ekspresu do kawy czyść miękką
szmatką, zwilżoną delikatnym płynem do mycia
naczyń.
• Po zaparzeniu kawy wyjmij papierowy filtr
z wkładu filtra 2.
• Wyjmij papierowy filtr i wypłucz wkład filtra 2
oraz szklany dzbanek q pod bieżącą wodą.
• Wkład filtra 2, łyżeczkę z miarką w i szklany
dzbanek q oczyść z większych zanieczyszczeń
pod bieżącą wodą. Wszystkie elementy przepłucz czystą wodą.
Przed odstawieniem ekspresu do kawy na dłuższy
okres czasu, zwiń kabel do schowka z tyłu urządzenia i wsuń wtyczkę w przewidziane do tego otwory
w schowku na kabel.
1. Do zbiornika na wodę 3 wlej środek do usuwania osadów z kamienia.
2. Wlej wodę w ilości podanej w instrukcji obsługi
środka do usuwania osadów z kamienia (maks.
12 filiżanek).
3. Naciśnij przycisk ON/AUTO/OFF 7, by rozpocząć parzenie. Zapala się wbudowana czerwona lampka kontrolna.
4. Zaczekaj, aż spłynie około 2 filiżanki wody i
zatrzymaj parzenie, naciskając 2 razy przycisk
ON/AUTO/OFF 7. Zapala się wbudowana
niebieska lampka kontrolna i po upływie około
15 sekundach gaśnie.
5. Zaczekaj 15 minut, aż środek do usuwania osadów
z kamienia zadziała.
6. Powtórz czynności 3–5 trzy razy.
7. Następnie rozpocznij parzenie i zaczekaj, aż
przez ekspres przepłynie cała woda.
8. Przez ekspres do kawy przepuść trzykrotnie czystą
wodę. Po tych czynnościach cały osad z kamienia
zostanie usunięty i ekspres będzie gotowy do
dalszej pracy.

Utylizacja
Ekspres do kawy nie działa:
• Urządzenie nie zostało włączone. Naciśnij przycisk
ON/AUTO/OFF 7, by włączyć urządzenie.
• Wtyczka sieciowa nie jest podłączona do gniazdka. Podłącz urządzenie do sieci.
Włóż wtyczkę sieciową do gniazdka.
Nie wyrzucaj urządzenia do śmieci
z innymi odpadkami domowymi.
W odniesieniu do produktu ma zastosowanie dyrektywa europejska
2002/96/EC.
Urządzenie należy poddać utylizacji w akredytowanym zakładzie utylizacji lub w komunalnym zakładzie utylizacji odpadów.
Przestrzegaj aktualnie obowiązujących przepisów.
W razie pytań i wątpliwości odnośnie zasad utylizacji skontaktuj się z najbliższym zakładem utylizacji.
Parzenie kawy nie rozpoczyna się o wybranym czasie (Timer):
• Zegar nie został włączony. Naciśnij przycisk
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 dwa razy, by włączyć
zegar.
• Zegar nie został prawidłowo ustawiony. Sprawdź
zegar i ewentualnie ustaw go prawidłowo.
Materiał opakowania należy poddawać
utylizacji zgodnie z przepisami o ochronie
środowiska.
Kawa jest za mocna/za słaba:
• W zbiorniku na wodę 3 jest za mało wody.
Wlej odpowiednią ilość wody.
• W filtrze jest za dużo/za mało kawy. Wsyp mniej/
więcej kawy.
• Kawa została zmielona zbyt drobno/grubo.
Wybierz inny stopień zmielenia kawy.
Gwarancja i serwis
Parzenie kawy trwa zbyt długo.
Urządzenie wyłącza się podczas parzenia.
Urządzenie hałasuje podczas parzenia kawy.
Powstaje nadmierna ilość pary.
• W układzie zaparzającym zgromadził się osad
z kamienia. Usuń osad z kamienia, zobacz rozdział „Usuwanie osadów z kamienia”.
Urządzenie objęte jest 3-letnią gwarancją, licząc
od daty zakupu. Urządzeniezostało starannie wyprodukowane i poddane skrupulatnej kontroli przed
wysyłką.
Paragon należy zachować jako dowód dokonania
zakupu. W przypadku roszczeń gwarancyjnych należy skontaktować się telefonicznie z serwisem. Tylko w ten sposób można zagwarantować bezpłatną
wysyłkę zakupionego produktu.
Gwarancja obejmuje wyłącznie wady materiałowe
i fabryczne, natomiast nie obejmuje szkód powstałych podczas transportu, części ulegających zużyciu ani uszkodzeń części łatwo łamliwych/podatnych na uszkodzenia mechaniczne, np. wyłączników,

Gefahr durch Stromschlag!
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte und geerdete Netzsteckdose an.
• Ziehen Sie, wenn Sie das Gerät bewegen, befüllen, bei Störungen, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen
oder wenn Sie es nicht gebrauchen, den
Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

und -stecker. Wenn das Netzkabel dieses
Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss es durch den
Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Brandgefahr!
• Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs
niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals ohne
Leitungswasser.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von
Wärmequellen auf.
• Benutzen Sie kein Verlängerungskabel. Bei Gefahr muss der Netzstecker schnell erreichbar sein.
• Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein

Warnung vor Verbrühungen!
• Öffnen Sie niemals während des Brühvorgangs
den Deckel der Kaffeemaschine.
• Berühren Sie nicht die heiße Filtertüte. Entnehmen
Sie die Filtertüte erst, wenn die Flüssigkeit abgelaufen und die Filtertüte abgekühlt ist. Benutzen
Sie den Filtereinsatz, um die Filtertüte zu
entfernen.

• Halten Sie Ihre Hände nicht in den aufsteigenden Wasserdampf.
• Bewegen Sie niemals das Gerät während des
Brühvorgangs.
• Entnehmen Sie die Glaskanne erst, wenn der
Brühvorgang abgeschlossen ist und der Filter
leer gelaufen ist.
• Schließen Sie vor dem Einschalten immer den
Deckel der Kaffeemaschine, es besteht sonst Verbrühungsgefahr durch austretenden Dampf und
heißes Wasser.
Vorsicht:
So vermeiden Sie Geräteschäden!
• Füllen Sie ausschließlich sauberes Leitungswasser in den Wassertank des Geräts.
• Für Schäden durch Glasbruch wird keine
Haftung übernommen!
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
Hinweis:
Füllen Sie nie mehr Wasser, als bis zur Max-Markierung (12 Tassen) ein. Das Gerät kann überlaufen.
• Lassen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch 12 Tassen
Wasser durch die Kaffeemaschine laufen. Legen
Sie keine Filtertüte ein und benutzen Sie dabei
kein Kaffeepulver.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und Wartung“).
Einstellung der Uhrzeit
• Drücken Sie die Taste PROG 6. Im Display 8
erscheint CLOCK.
• Drücken Sie die Taste HOUR 4 für die Stunden
bzw. die Taste MIN 5 für die Minuten so oft,
bis die gewünschte Uhrzeit eingestellt ist.

• Warten Sie ca. 15 Sekunden. Die Anzeige
CLOCK im Display 8 erlischt. Die Uhrzeit ist
nun gespeichert.
oder
• Drücken Sie die Taste PROG 6 zweimal, so
dass nur noch die Uhrzeit im Display 8 zu sehen ist. Die Uhrzeit ist nun gespeichert.
Hinweis:
Wenn die Kaffeemaschine vom Stromnetz getrennt
wird (oder bei einem kurzen Stromausfall), bleibt die
eingestellte Uhrzeit für max. 15 Sekunden gespeichert.
Bei einer längeren Trennung vom Stromnetz müssen
Sie die Einstellungen neu vornehmen.

• Wenn der Brühvorgang beendet ist, können Sie
die Glaskanne q entnehmen und den Kaffee
servieren.
Wenn Sie den Kaffee nicht sofort servieren wollen, lassen Sie ihn in der Kaffemaschine stehen.
Die Warmhalteplatte 0 hält den Kaffee für ca.
60 Minuten warm. Nach 60 Minuten schaltet
sich die Kaffeemaschine automatisch aus.
• Wenn Sie die Kaffeemaschine manuell ausschalten möchten, drücken Sie die Taste
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 2 mal, so dass die integrierte blaue Anzeigelampe dauerhaft leuchtet.
Nach ca. 15 Sekunden erlischt diese. Die Kaffeemaschine ist nun ausgeschaltet.
Hinweis:
Kaffeezubereitung
Lassen Sie die Kaffeemaschine etwa 5 Minuten lang
auskühlen, bevor Sie einen weiteren Brühvorgang
beginnen oder Wasser nachfüllen.
Vermeiden Sie es, weniger als 4 Tassen Kaffee zu
brühen. Ansonsten hat der Kaffee nicht die gewünschte Temperatur und Stärke.
Timer-Funktion
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel 1 und legen Sie eine Filtertüte (Größe 1x4) mit umgeknickten Seiten in
den Filtereinsatz 2.
Füllen Sie mit dem Messlöffel w Kaffeepulver in
die Filtertüte ein. Pro Tasse benötigen Sie, je
nach persönlichem Geschmack, ca. einen gestrichenen Messlöffel w Kaffeepulver. Dabei entspricht ein gestrichener Messlöffel w ca. 5,5 g
Kaffeepulver.
• Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge in den
Wassertank 3 ein. Nutzen Sie dafür die Skala
9. Füllen Sie nie mehr Wasser, als bis zur MaxMarkierung (12 Tassen) ein.
• Schließen Sie den Deckel 1, so dass er
einrastet.
• Stellen Sie die Glaskanne q in die Kaffeemaschine.
• Drücken Sie die Taste ON/AUTO/OFF 7, um
den Brühvorgang zu starten. Die in der Taste
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 integrierte rote Anzeigelampe leuchtet.
Mit der Taste PROG 6 können Sie die Kaffeemaschine so einstellen, dass sie zu einem festgelegten
Zeitpunkt mit dem Brühvorgang beginnt. Füllen Sie
immer zuerst Kaffeepulver in die Filtertüte im Filtereinsatz 2 und Wasser in den Wassertank 3. Stellen Sie die Glaskanne q in die Kaffeemaschine.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Wassertank 3 nicht
über die Max-Markierung hinaus (12 Tassen) gefüllt ist.
• Drücken Sie die Taste PROG 6 2 mal, so dass
TIMER im Display 8 erscheint.
• Stellen Sie die gewünschte Startzeit mit der Taste
HOUR 4 und der Taste MIN 5 ein (siehe Kapitel „Einstellung der Uhrzeit“).
• Wenn die gewünschte Startzeit eingestellt ist,
drücken Sie die Taste ON/AUTO/OFF 7 2
mal. Die integrierte blaue Anzeigelampe blinkt
und zeigt damit an, dass der Timer eingestellt ist.
Die Kaffeemaschine startet den Brühvorgang zur
eingestellten Zeit.

• Wenn Sie den Timer wieder deaktivieren möchten, drücken Sie einmal die Taste
ON/AUTO/OFF 7, so dass die integrierte
blaue Anzeigenlampe dauerhaft leuchtet.

Wenn Sie die Kaffeemaschine für längere Zeit nicht
benutzen, verstauen Sie das Kabel im Kabelschacht
auf der Rückseite der Kaffeemaschine und stecken
Sie den Netzstecker in die dafür vorgesehenen Löcher am Kabelschacht.
Reinigung und Wartung
Entkalkung
Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus
der Netzsteckdose.
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags!
Bevor Sie die Kaffeemaschine reinigen, müssen Sie
immer den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose
ziehen.
Achtung!
Tauchen Sie die Kaffeemaschine nie in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten.
Entkalken Sie die Kaffeemaschine in regelmäßigen
Abständen.
Die nötigen Entkalkungs-Abstände können je nach
Härtegrad Ihres Wassers sehr unterschiedlich sein.
Bei hohem Härtegrad ist eine Entkalkung bereits
nach ca. 30 Benutzungen notwendig, bei niedrigem
Härtegrad nach ca. 60 Benutzungen. Den Härtegrad Ihres Wassers erfahren Sie beim örtlichen
Wasserversorger.
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich für Kaffeemaschinen
geeignetes Entkalkungsmittel und beachten Sie die
dazugehörige Gebrauchsanleitung.
So gehen Sie zum Entkalken vor:
Verbrennungsgefahr!
Warten Sie immer, bis die Kaffeemaschine abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie sie reinigen.
• Benutzen Sie keine Haushaltsreiniger oder scharfe bzw. spitze Gegenstände, um Verschmutzungen zu entfernen. Dadurch könnten Sie die Kaffeemaschine beschädigen.
• Wischen Sie das Gehäuse der Kaffeemaschine
mit einem, leicht mit milder Seifenlauge befeuchteten, weichen Tuch ab.
• Nehmen Sie nach jeder Benutzung die Filtertüte
aus dem Filtereinsatz 2.
• Entfernen Sie den Filter und spülen Sie Filtereinsatz 2 und die Glaskanne q unter fließendem
Leitungswasser aus.
• Reinigen Sie Filtereinsatz 2, Messlöffel w und
die Glaskanne q bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen in mildem Spülwasser. Spülen Sie alle
Teile mit klarem Wasser ab.
1. Geben Sie das Entkalkungsmittel in den Wassertank 3.
2. Füllen Sie die in der Bedienungsanleitung des
Entkalkers angegebene Menge Wasser ein
(max. 12 Tassen).
3. Drücken Sie die Taste ON/AUTO/OFF 7, um
den Brühvorgang zu starten. Die integrierte rote
Anzeigelampe leuchtet.
4. Warten Sie, bis das Wasser für ca. 2 Tassen
durchgelaufen ist und stoppen Sie dann den
Brühvorgang, indem Sie 2 mal die Taste
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 drücken. Die integrierte
blaue Anzeigelampe leuchtet dauerhaft und erlischt nach ca. 15 Sekunden.
5. Lassen Sie das Entkalkungsmittel 15 Minuten einwirken.
6. Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 3. - 5. drei mal.
7. Starten Sie dann den Brühvorgang und warten
Sie, bis das Wasser komplett durchgelaufen ist.

8. Lassen Sie 3 mal die Kaffeemaschine mit klarem
Wasser und maximaler Wassermenge brühen.
Dann sind alle Entkalkungsmittelreste entfernt
und Sie können die Kaffeemaschine wieder benutzen.
Entsorgen
Fehlerbehebung
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung.
Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.
Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den
normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt
unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2002/96/EC.
Die Kaffeemaschine funktioniert nicht:
• Das Gerät ist nicht eingeschaltet. Drücken Sie
den Schalter ON/AUTO/OFF 7, um das Gerät
einzuschalten.
• Der Netzstecker steckt nicht in einer Netzsteckdose.
Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit dem Stromnetz.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien
einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
Der Brühvorgang startet nicht zur gewünschten
Zeit (Timer):
• Der Timer ist nicht aktiviert. Drücken Sie die Taste
ON/AUTO/OFF 7 zwei mal, um den Timer zu
aktivieren.
• Die Uhrzeit ist nicht richtig eingestellt. Kontrollieren Sie die Uhrzeit und stellen Sie sie
gegebenenfalls ein.
Der Kaffee ist zu stark/zu schwach:
• Es ist zu wenig/zu viel Wasser im Wassertank
3. Füllen Sie die korrekte Wassermenge ein.
• Es ist zu viel/zu wenig Kaffeepulver eingefüllt.
Füllen Sie weniger/mehr Kaffeepulver ein.
• Das Kaffeepulver ist zu fein/zu grob gemahlen.
Wählen Sie einen anderen Mahlgrad für Ihr
Kaffeepulver.
Der Brühvorgang dauert ungewöhnlich lange.
Das Gerät schaltet sich während des Brühens
aus.
Das Gerät wird beim Brühen lauter.
Es entsteht übermäßiger Dampf.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab
Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert
und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis
für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung.
