Knowledge
W1 - Understanding, discussion and explanation of diagnostics and treatment of urological disease,
postoperative care. Knowledge of operative techniques in urology. Qualification criteria for urological surgery.
Skills
U1 - Ability to perform examinations: digital rectal examination (DRE), male genitalia, urinary system (symptoms).
Ultrasonography of the urinary tract. Bladder catetherisation..
Social competence
K1 - After completing the course in the Department of Urology the student shows criticism in expressing their
views, discuss on medical topics, works independently, shows creativity above the group and/or directs the band.

Form and terms of the verification results:
CLASSES: Written test - null(K1, U1, W1) ;
SEMINAR: Written test - null(K1, U1, W1) ;
LECTURE: Written test - Presence at all
classes and seminars. Passing the test.
Grade scale according to general MUG
regulations. The course consists of obligatory
seminars and classes. Students are expected
to be prepared to and to actively participate at
the seminars/classes. The final test consists
of 10 open questions. In case of failure the
student can try to pass it again with another
group. It is obligatory that students were
present at all the activities. Unjustified
absence from seminars/exercises during the
whole course will result in failing to pass the
course and forfeiting the right to take the final
test. Absence is deemed "justified" due to an
illness (doctor's certificate required!).
Absence from seminars/classes has to be
made up with another group, after consulting
