ANNOUNCEMENT no. 1
We address to you our invitation to 13th edition of International
Scientific Conference Computer Aided Engineering.
The conference, which has been for many years organized by
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, has already established its
reputation in Poland as well as abroad. It has become one of the
most important scientific events connected to computer aided
engineering in our country. We are pleased to note that our
Conference represents the highest scientific level, which does not
prevent numerous industry representatives to attend.
The Conference from one year to another is becoming
increasingly important in Europe and in the world, which is
reflected in the increasing number of international participants .
Computer Aided Engineering has its old sympathizers but we
hope that also this time new persons will join this company of
computer-aided engineering enthusiasts.
The Polish/English simultaneous translation is ensured during
the Conference.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
Computer Aided Engineering is dedicated to:
geometric and concurrent design,
advanced numerical simulations of physical systems,
integration of CAD/CAE systems for machine design,
presentation of professional CAD and CAE systems,
presentation of the modern methods of machine testing
presentation of practical CAD/CAM/CAE applications:
– designing and manufacturing of machines and technical
systems,
– durability prediction, repairs and retrofitting of power
equipment,
– strength and thermodynamic analyses of power equipment,
– design and calculation of various types of load-carrying
structures,
– numerical methods of dimensioning materials handling and
long-distance transport equipment (cranes, gantries,
automotive, rail, air, space and other special vehicles and
earth-moving machinery),
 CAE integration problems.






PAPERS/PRESENTATIONS
Accepted papers will be published by Springer in PostConference Proceedings, indexed in Scopus.
The basic form of presenting the articles during the
Conference will be the poster session. The poster should be
prepared in size of 750x1000 mm (W x H).
Selected papers will be presented during three Polish/English
simultaneously translated plenary sessions.

paper (8 pages A4 according to the Springer layout

Extended abstract will be published in the book of abstracts
available on the conference. Full papers will be published by Springer
in Post-Conference Proceedings, indexed in Scopus
Please prepare your abstract and full paper following the enclosed
instruction precisely and send it by the 6 May 2016 to the Organizing
Committee. The instruction is also available to download from the web
site: www.kbm.pwr.edu.pl/cae
Papers accepted by the Scientific Committee will be published in
renowned scientific journals.
In order to issue the VAT invoice by Wrocław University of
Technology for the participation in the 13th International

CONFERENCE VENUE
The place of the Conference will be Hotel Polanica Resort &
Spa in Polanica Zdrój.
The check in of the participants will start on the 22 June 2016
(Wednesday) around afternoon and the checkout is planned on the
25 June 2016 (Saturday).
Conference participants are to arrive to the place of the
Conference on their own.
