ES-SYSTEM set to illuminate railroad tracks
ES-SYSTEM, the leading Polish company specializing in professional lighting, will provide
light fixtures for tracks operated by Polish State Railways (PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.)
The net value of the contract for this investment amounts to 1.5 million PLN.
As part of the agreement, ES-SYSTEM will provide 5 500 BOYEN outdoor light fixtures to the Polish
State Railways (PKP) for use all over Poland. The energy-saving luminaires will be used for the
lighting of railway tracks and stations which are currently being renovated and prepared to handle
passenger traffic.
All of the light fixtures comply with the latest EU energy efficiency standards, which ensures the low
cost of electricity consumption. They also fulfill the special requirements regarding optics, safety and
technical parameters set by PKP.
Over the years 2009-2013, our company has succeeded for the fourth time in winning the Polish
State Railways’ outdoor lighting tender. So far, ES-SYSTEM has delivered a total of 25 000
luminaires with a net value of 8.5 million PLN.
