What are the best places to have fun?
There are a few clubs for children:
Klubba is a club with members from 13 to 18 years. It is open Tuesdays
and Thursdays from 18.00-21.30. There you can dance, be a DJ, make
and buy food, play dart, play billiard, PS2 and other games. Outside you
can find a skateboard ramp. It lies next to Ebbestad Skole.
Minidramaten is a theatregroup for kids. They have a play each year.
Gartneriet is another club for teenagers.
What are the best places to have fun?
In and around Svelvik you can do a lot of
outdoor sports acivities both in summer
and winter.
Places to swim are: Verketsøya, Krok,
Dramstadbukta, Trulser`n and Skjøra. You
can have a nice day on the beach.
You can also use the swimmingpool.
You can play games: football at Solbakken, handball in Strømmhallen or
Ebbestadhallen, tennis and volleyball.
You can do a lot of outdoor activities: take a
walk to Briskesletta or Flaggstanga where you
will have a wonderful view of Svelvik .
You can also play outside our schools and use
your bicycle all over Svelvik.
In winter most popular sports are crosscountry
skiing in the forest, downhill skiing, skating and
sledging.
