PUBLISHING INSTRUCTION
1.
Information about the autor
•
The authors should include the following information: title of the article, academic
title, affiliation, correspondence address, phone number and email.
• The affiliation will remain written as indicated by the author.
• In the case of several authors of the text, the correspondence is conducted with one
designated "correspondence author".

General technical requirements

Formatting: font – Times New Roman 12, line spacing 1,5, page format A4, margins
2,5 cm, paragraphs with indent. No additional formatting.
Graphic materials in the text should consist in the name and the source. Besides, they
should be attached in a separate, clearly described, black and white files TIFF, BMP or
JPG with the resolution min. 300 dpi.
All graphic materials must contain the source. In case they are protected by the
copyright, the author of the article must provide the author’s or owner’s written
consent for the reproduction.
The graphs and charts, apart from being inserted in the text, should be attached with
the data in the separate Excel files (XLS) or as a graphic black and white JPG file.
The charts and tables should be numbered (Table 1, etc.) and described.

Extension of the texts

The text should be 8-15 pages long (1800 signs per page).
We admit the texts in Polish or in any conference language.
The article should include the summary (maximum 500 characters, including spaces)
and key words, both in Polish and English.

All the references and bibliography must be prepared according to American Psychological
Association (APA) style 6th ed. (www.apastyle.org)
References

References in the text must be prepared according to the example (Author, year, page),
e.g. (Kolasa, 2004, s. 33)
• In case the reference contains 2-5 authors, the names should be separated by a coma,
e.g. (Stefańczyk, Głowicka, 2005, s. 37)
• In case the reference contains 3-5 authors, all the authors are mentioned only the first
time. In further references the format is limited to (Author1 and further, year, page),
e.g. (Stefańczyk i in., 2005, s. 37)
• When there are 6 or more authors, only the first name should be mentioned, e.g.
(Kowalski i in., 2005)

In case the publication has an editor, the editor’s name and function should be
mentioned, e.g. (Żmigrodzki, red., 1998)
In the reference to a publication edited by an institution/organization, in the first
reference the full name and the acronym should be included, e.g. (Stowarzyszenie
Bibliotekarzy Polskich [SBP], 2014) and in the following ones just the acronym (SBP,
2014).
Reference to the anonymous work includes the title and year, e.g. (Instrukcja
katalogowania, 2014). If the title is very long, it should be shortened, e.g. (Raport o
stanie bibliotek wiejskich, 1997), instead of (Raport o stanie bibliotek wiejskich w
świetle obrad obrad Krajowego Kongresu Kultury Wsi Polskiej, 1997).

Bibliographical reference to the used sourced must be annexed the end of the article in
alphabetical order of authors or editors.
In case the quoted sources are not in Polish, the abbreviations should be maintained in
the original language, e.g. ¨w¨ in Polish = ¨in¨ in English, ¨s.¨ in Polish = ¨p.¨ in
English.
The works of the same author published in the same year are differenced by adding
consecutive letters, e.g. (Stefaniak, 1999a), (Stefaniak, 1999b).
The bibliography shouldn’t be divided into types of described documents (articles,
norms, books, electronic sources, etc.).
