In the town where I live there are many interesting places for one to
visit. For example, there is a new cinema and an art museum. There is
also an indoor swimming pool, a bowling club, a park. If you want to
spend a nice time in a place where you can have a chat with your friend
or drink something tasty, you should visit some of the town cafes. There is one which I am especially fond of. It is a French cafe. This coffee house is located in an old building, near the park. It is a
quiet and peaceful spot. During summer, when the weather is nice, you
can sit on the cafe's terrace. The beautiful view of the lake in the park
and the children playing around, makes this place pleasing. From
outside the cafeteria looks modestly. It is a not very big, cream-colored
building. There is a decorative, iron sign with the name of the coffee
house – 'Rendez-Vous' – hanging above the door.
Inside, the coffee house looks pretty. The walls are red with small
orange patterns. Everything is arranged in an old style. The furniture is
made of fine, dark wood. There are six or seven small, round tables,
carved chairs and a comfortable crimson sofa. There is also a splendid
looking chandelier in the middle of the room. Opposite the door there is
a small window with a decorative grille. There are several pictures of
chocolate, coffee beans, iced muffins and other delicacies hanging on
the walls. On each table there is a candle and a vase with fresh flowers.
To the left of the entry stands a counter and there are also shelves with
different kinds of aromatic tea and ornamental cups and jugs, which you
can buy. In this coffee house the atmosphere is delightful. You can listen to the
accordion background music. The smoke from the incense, the sounds
of the smooth music, the smell of the coffee and chocolate make you
relax. You can read a French newspaper or a magazine here. If you
like, you can also play a game of chess. Everything is prepared for the
guests. Most importantly, the cafeteria offers you some excellent
delicacies, fragrant coffee, fruit tea, hot chocolate, cocktails, all kinds of
desserts, cookies, tarts, ice cream and other kinds of deliciouse sweets.
Sometimes I just come here to rest and listen to the pleasant music. I
like this place because it is unique and I makes me feel at home.

ozdobna, żelazna tabliczka z nazwą kawiarni – „Rendez-Vous”.
W środku kawiarnia wygląda uroczo. Ściany są czerwone, w drobne
pomarańczowe wzorki. Wszystko urządzone jest w starodawnym stylu.
Meble zrobione są z pięknego, ciemnego drewna. Jest sześć albo
siedem małych, okrągłych stolików, rzeźbione krzesła i wygodna,
bordowa kanapa. W środku pomieszczenia znajduje się okazały
żyrandol. Naprzeciw drzwi znajduje się małe okno z ozdobną kratą. Na
ścianach wiszą obrazki przedstawiające czekoladki, ziarna kawy,
lukrowane babeczki i inne przysmaki. Na każdym stoliku znajduje się
świeczka i wazon ze świeżymi kwiatami. Po lewej stronie od wejścia
stoi lada, a także znajdują się półki z różnymi rodzajami herbaty,
dekoracyjnymi filiżankami i dzbankami, które można kupić.
Klimat w tej kawiarni jest wspaniały. Można posłuchać muzyki
akordeonu grającej w tle. Dym kadzidełek, łagodna muzyka, zapach
kawy i czekolady sprawia, że możesz się tutaj odprężyć. Możesz
przeczytać francuską gazetę albo czasopismo. Jeśli chcesz, możesz
też zagrać w szachy. Wszystko jest przygotowane dla gości. Co
najważniejsze, kawiarnia oferuje wyborne przysmaki, aromatyczną
kawę, owocową herbatę, gorącą czekoladę, koktajle, wszystkiego
rodzaju desery, ciastka, tarty, lody i inne pyszne słodycze. Czasami
przychodzę tutaj po prostu po to, żeby odpocząć i posłuchać przyjemnej
muzyki. Lubię to miejsce, ponieważ jest niepowtarzalne i czuje się tu jak
w domu.
