Krakowskie Biuro Festiwalowe jest operatorem powstałego nad Wisłą
naprzeciw Wawelu Centrum Kongresowego ICE Kraków. Imponująca

Centrum ma ponad 36 000 m² powierzchni, w tym trzy główne sale:
Audytoryjną, gotową przyjąć ponad 2000 osób, Teatralną (600 osób)
i Kameralną (300 osób), a także przestronne i wielofunkcyjne foyer
przystosowane do organizacji wystaw, stoisk sponsorskich czy ekspozycyjnych. Całość składa się na jeden z najnowocześniejszych tego
typu obiektów w Polsce – i pierwszy taki w Krakowie, cieszącym się
od lat wielkim zainteresowaniem jako miasto idealne dla wydarzeń
o charakterze biznesowym i kongresowym. Mimo że termin uruchomienia ICE Kraków planowany jest na jesień 2014 roku, organizatorzy
dużych wydarzeń konferencyjnych dokonali już licznych rezerwacji
na lata 2014-2017.
Duża popularność Centrum Kongresowego ICE Kraków to także efekt
intensywnej promocji tego obiektu na europejskich i światowych
targach branżowych, takich jak IMEX we Frankfurcie i EIBTM
w Barcelonie. Dzięki unijnej dotacji na promocję Małopolski ICE

Congress Centre
The Krakow Festival Office is the operator of the conference
ICE Krakow Congress Centre, constructed recently on the banks
of the Vistula opposite Wawel Castle. The striking building,
designed by the architecture atelier Ingarden & Ewý Architekci
in collaboration with Arata Isozaki & Associates, complements
the urban development of the right bank of the river, with other
iconic buildings including the eye-catching Manggha Museum.
The excellent location, with easy access to Balice Airport,
means the conference centre plays a key role in the city’s development strategy as an important convention hub. ICE Krakow
will also host cultural events; it is home to Kraków’s largest
concert and performance space.
The total floor space of 36,000 m2 includes three main halls –
the Auditorium for up to 2000 people, the Theatre Hall (capacity
of 600) and the Chamber Hall (capacity of 300) – as well as a spacious foyer easily adaptable for hosting exhibitions and sponsors’
stands. It will be one of the most modern conference centres in
Poland and the first state-of-the-art venue in Kraków, helping
the city develop its potential as a perfect location for business
meetings and congresses. Although ICE Krakow doesn’t open its
doors until autumn 2014, organisers of major events have
already taken a number of bookings for 2014-2017.
The high popularity of the centre is also the result of promotional activities at global trade shows, such as IMEX in Frankfurt and
EIBTM in Barcelona. A portion of the EU funds for the promotion
of the Małopolska Region is also used to present ICE Krakow at
smaller trade shows, including International Confex in London
and Meedex in Paris. The centre’s operations are provided by
dedicated specialists from the Krakow Festival Office.
