Subject contents
Listening: descriptions of tools and machines, directions and following a map, brainstorming and
discussions, phone conversations, listening to a specialist meeting;
Speaking: describing tools, machines and diagrams, brainstorming and discussions, giving and following
rules and directions, setting rules for cooperation within a group, expressing cause and effect in
technological processes, studying diagrams, giving directions, describing everyday routine, explaining the
objectives of a task, giving a talk;
Reading: maintenance manuals, rules and directions, emails, descriptions of buildings, an alarm system, a
project summary;
Writing: definitions, a report, safety rules, replying to an email, preparing notes for a meeting, writing
memos and minutes, summary of a short specialist text.
Grammar and vocabulary complementary to the current material.
