Dear Mrs. Dobrowolska:
It is with great pleasure that I invite Jagiellonian University to nominate candidates for the 20152016 Short-term Faculty Scholar Exchange program with Indiana University.
During the 2015-2016 academic year, Indiana University can host one doctoral student/junior
faculty member as a visiting scholar for up to four months and one senior faculty member for a
period of one month on the Bloomington or Indianapolis campuses. Doctoral students/junior
faculty applications will be accepted for any field, with the exception of law and business, on the
Bloomington or Indianapolis campuses of Indiana University.
Indiana University will provide the following for the incoming scholars:
 Living stipend of $550/month for junior faculty, $600 for senior faculty
 Health insurance for the period of the scholar’s stay
 Housing in an on-campus apartment (when available) or a stipend to cover expenses for
off-campus housing
