Current status of Polish aerospace industry
• Aerospace industry has been restructured and in majority is private
• International companies actively invest in the industry (Pratt &Whitney,
Sikorsky, Safran, Avio, MTU, Goodrich, EADS)
• Many of aerospace companies have reached world level manufacturing
capabilities and are getting ready for R&D
• Aerospace industry is already involved in number of EU initiatives,
projects, organisations and consortiums
• The next step of the industry development is to participate in larger scale
in European R&D efforts and become risk and revenue share partner
• Academia is actively and effectively supporting the industry strategy

considered as reliable partner
