Composition:
paste: Alfa Omega poly(dimethylsiloxane), calcium carbonate, pigments, taste ingredients
catalyst: dibutyltindilaurate, benzyl silicate, tetrahydrofurfuryl silicate, pigments
Characteristics:
Condensation silicone impression material, on the basis of filled siloxane polymer and catalyst.
Indications:
1) For impressions in making indirect inlays, crowns and bridges.
2) For impressions in making fixed removable splints and partial denture.
Contra-indications:
Not described.
Application:
The mixing ratio is 9 g (6.2 ml) of Stomaflex Paste to 4 - 6 drops of catalyst. Squeeze the desired amount of paste
from tube on the dosage scale on a mixing glass. The length of the squeezed out roll expressed in scale units gives
the number of catalyst drops. Thus measured paste must be thoroughly mixed with the catalyst within 30 seconds,
ideally using a wide friction blade.
Working time is minimum 75 seconds from the start of mixing. The application interval inside patient‘s mouth is 4
minutes. So as to accomplish maximum model accuracy, Stomaflex casts ought to be casted within maximum 1
hour.
Important notice:
Repetitive Stomaflex impressions ought to be prevented. If impressions unsuccessful, the casting procedure may be
repeated maximum once during a single patient visit.
With regard to the adjusted component mixing ratio, use exclusively the dosage scale enclosed with each product
package.
Warning:
Catalyst is harmful to the cornea!! In case of accidental contact with eye rinse with running water and seek
immediate medical attention.
Note:
The catalyst containing vial must be tightly closed immediately after use, so as to prevent wasting the contents
resulting in material not solidifying.
Storage:
Store in a dry environment at 5 - 25°C.
