Welding Center
Welding Center was founded in 1950. Many years

training and those gathered during work on numerous construction sites in Europe
as well as in other countries including Libya, Iraq, Kuwait and Republic of South
Africa guarantees the highest quality of service.

Welding Center has got 43 welding workstations and a workroom for 40
people. Welding engineers and welding instructors possess expertise and
extensive knowledge proved by certificates issued by International Welding
Organizations. Besides, the center has at its disposal welding equipment of
many recognized producers, such as: Fronius, Lincoln, Kemppi, Esab, Air Liquide,
Ozas.
The welders trained in our center are highly regarded employees. They work
competently for such companies as: MITSUBISHI HITACHI POWER SYSTEMS, LTD;
Steinmüller Babcock ENVIRONMENT GmbH; Alstom Power; KGHM.

Services offered by the Welding Center:
1. Welders training
Comprehensive program of courses and verification of welding qualifications
according to PN-EN 287-1, PN-EN ISO 9606, ASME section IX; PN-EN 1418, PN EN
ISO 14732, certified by the Polish Welding Centre of Excellence (IS), Office of
Technical Inspection (UDT) and TÜV.
Our Center is also a licensed examination body of the Transport Technical
Inspection Office.
We organize courses within the scope of reinforced steel (alloy steel) welding in
line with the requirements of EN ISO 17660.
Welding methods:
81 (OFC) – Oxy-fuel gas cutting,
111 (MMA) – Manual Metal Arc Welding,
114 (FCAW-S) –Flux Cored Arc Welding Self Shielding,
121 (SAW) – Submerged Arc Welding,
131 (MIG) – Metal Inert Gas Welding,
135 (MAG) – Metal Active Gas Welding,
138 / 136 (FCAW) – Flux Cored Arc Welding,
141 (TIG) – Tungsten Inert Gas Welding,
311 (OFW) – Oxy-Fuel Gas Welding
2. Verification of welders’ skills
For Clients who wish to check welders’ skills prior to employment we provide
services related to such verification.
3. Elaboration and qualifying of the welding development technology
We elaborate tailored-made welding development technology of any steel
structure as well as provide assistance and help in conducting of the qualifying
procedure of welding technology WPQR based on the regulations of PED 97/23/WE
and others depending on customers’ needs, with involvement of recognized
certifying bodies incl.: UDT, PRS, TDT, TÜV. On a client’s request we organize
qualifying of a technology with participation of such entities as PRS, DNV/GL as
well as other selected by a client.
4. Repair services
We have a number of qualifications in accordance with the UDT requirements
(Office of Technical Inspection) for repair of tower cranes, working platforms,
mobile and fixed cranes, overhead cranes, electrical hoists, cableways and ski lifts.
5. Qualifying tests of additional materials for welding
We offer qualifying tests of additional materials for welding with participation of
qualifying entities in accordance with a client’s request. 6. Welding services
We provide specialist services including repairs of technical equipment being
subject to technical inspection. We possess numerous qualifications issued by UDT
authorizing to perform repairs of the following: overhead cranes, mobile and jib
cranes, tower cranes, winches and mobile platforms, as well as steam and water
boilers.
Additional advantages of the Welding Center:
Close cooperation with a recognized NDT and DT in-house Laboratory located inside the
building of the WC, which enables and facilitates quick evaluation of welding samples.
Immediate provision of broad range of basic materials: structural steel up to
S960QL; steel for power engineering, stainless steel, aluminium, copper,
nickel along with additional materials for welding.
Possession of equipment for submerged arc welding ESAB LAF 1001 +
TRAKTOR A2 MULTITRAC.
Flexible possibility of taking out extra time for training.
