Summary
Summary New geometrical design method and coordination ways of design processes (analysis and synthesis) of hierarchical objects have been considered in the paper presented. The theoretical foundations of the method which have been developed, i.e. formal model of two-level system (aed) coordinator, is based on hierarchical and dynamic systems theories (by M.Mesarovich and Y.Takahara). Such cybernetic construction allows the model of the object being designed, including its structural and aggregated dynamic representation, its process in the environment and the environment model in one general mathematical basis to be presented. The geometric representation of hierarchical objects and the coordinator design method developed (models, algorithms and computer programs) are applied to the practical task solving of the automated synthesis and analysis of various objects in Robotics and Automation, such as synthesis: 3D machine parts construction, synthesis of humanoid robot bipedal locomotion apparatus, design of assembly technological operations, geometric synthesis in machine vision system for electronic circuit board quality testing, synthesis of semi-conductive technical films, presentation of the EM4725 manipulator in the process of circuit boards mounting; analysis: coordination of bio-mechanical objects connecting movements and deformations - motion design of worm-, snake- and caterpillar-like robots, design of the humanoid robot bipedal locomotion process, simulation of technological processes of machine part forming, running waves of deformations in mechanical objects, analysis of geometric interconnections of electronic circuit boards in machine vision system. Geometrical object designing by the coordinator method presented in the work has the main advantages of the widespread methods: the convenience of Constructive Solid Geometry for the user, Boundary Representations fitness for engineering analysis and neuronet and holographic memory capability for connecting parallel calculations with learning and other positive features. At the same time the method is free of certain drawbacks of known technologies and, in addition, has more functional abilities, such as reconstructing of the whole object being designed from any of its structural element, coordination of movements and deformations of hierarchical objects in frames of one common model, and others. Modele formalne, modele geometryczne, algorytmy i programy komputerowe opracowano dla przykładowych zadań geometrycznego projektowania obiektów hierarchicznych z obszaru automatyki i robotyki. Uniwersalność i skuteczność metody w zakresie syntezy wykazano na przykładach: - geometrycznego projektowania częściej maszyn o różnej postaci, - realizacji operacji montażu, syntezy warstwy półprzewodnikowej i konstrukcji połączeń elementów płyt w elektronice, - syntezy aparatu lokomocji robota humanoida, - opracowywania konstrukcji manipulatora montażowego. Skuteczność metody w zakresie analizy wykazano na przykładzie: - symulacji technologicznych operacji formowania (kształtowania) części maszyn w procesie produkcyjnym, - wykrywania defektów połączeń w obwodach układów elektronicznych, badania fali deformacji w układach mechanicznych, - analizy parametrów ruchu (lokomocji dwunożnej) robota humanoida, robotów węża, robaka oraz gąsienicowo podobnych i itp. Opracowana metoda zawiera wszystkie zalety obecnie używanych technologii (ang. Constructive Solid Geometry, Boundary Representation, Wireframe models etc.) i dodatkowo ma swoje charakterystyczne korzystne właściwości, jak to odtworzenie całego obiektu geometrycznego poprzez jego jeden element, jednoczesne rozpatrzenie w jednym modelu ruchu i deformacji obiektu, realizacja zmiany skali ze zmianą topologii obiektów i in.
