ES-SYSTEM will illuminate the Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdansk
ES-SYSTEM, the leading Polish company specializing in professional lighting, is completing a
contract for an indoor lighting for the Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdansk. The value
of the contract is PLN 800 k net, deliveries will be completed in August 2011.
Within the frames of the contract ES-SYSTEM will supply almost 4 500 luminaires for indoor lighting,
mostly System 4000BIS and luminaires for installation in suspended ceilings.
The new building of the Faculty of Biology is being built on a campus of the University of Gdansk in
Gdansk Oliwa. This investment is partially financed by the European Union from the European Regional
Development Fund under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program. The Gdansk’s
Faculty of Biology is the second largest investment in Poland in the field of higher education.
