Nigdy nie chcieliśmy być wielcy. Chcielismy tylko robić wspaniałe rowery. Przez trzydzieści lat koncentrowaliśmy się na tym co potrafimy najlepiej- na projektowaniu i produkcji rowerów na których sami
chcielibyśmy jeździć. Sami jesteśmy rowerzystami i dlatego wyszlismy z założenia, że inni rowerzyści mają podobne pragnienia jak my. My chcieliśmy ,aby każda następna jazda Jamisem była lepsza od
poprzedniej. I nigdy nie poprzestaliśmy ulepszać swoich rowerów. Produkujemy rowery i pozwalamy im mówić za nas. Jeżeli wpiszesz w Google Jamis + kategorię rowerów której szukasz zostaniesz zasypany
pochlebnymi opiniami zwykłych rowerzystów jak Ty. Na tak dobrą opinię pracowalismy trzydzieści lat, rok po roku. To nie była łatwa droga. Przez te lata nasze rowery były nagradzane przez największe magazyny
rowerowe w Ameryce. W każdej kategorii: rowerów komfortowych, szosowych i górskich. Jesteśmy dumni z naszej ciężkiej pracy. Z tego ,że zainwestowaliśmy w technologię SST, która sprawia ,że czerpiesz
taką samą przyjemność z jazdy niezależnie od wielkości ramy i twojego wzrostu; z naszego nagradzanego licznymi nagrodami wielozawiasowego systemu zawieszenia mp3 i z ogromnych inwestycji, które
poczyniliśmy w badania, a następnie produkcję ram karbonowych.
Wśród tylu zmian i przy ciągłym dążeniu do perfekcji nie zmieniliśmy jednego. Nadal naszym nadrzędnym celem jest tworzenie rowerów na których sami chcielibyśmy jeździć.
HISTORIA JAMISA - TO NIE JEST REKLAMA TO SĄ FAKTY!!!
-1937 rok - firma na początku swej działalności zajmowała się sprowadzaniem do Stanów Zjednoczonych części i akcesoriów rowerowych z Europy.
- 1979 rok - Jamis zaczął swoja przygodę z produkcją rowerów przedstawiając pierwszego Earth Cruisera.
- 1983 rok - “ na świat przyszedł “ pierwszy rower górski wyprodukowany przez Jamis Bicycles. Model Dakota produkowany jest po dziś dzień. Oczywiście
zupełnie nie przypomina swego ‘’ dziadka ‘’.
- 1989 rok - kolejnym przełomowym rokiem w historii firmy był rok 1989 w którym Jamis przedstawił swoje pierwsze szosowe modele – Quest i Eclipse.
- 1995 rok - zaowocował pierwszym rowerem full suspension,mianowicie modelem Dakar z wielozawiasowym systemem zawieszeniem.
- 1998 rok - przyniósł pierwsze wyróżnienia. Model Dakota zdobył tytuł ‘’Bike of the Year’’ magazynu Mountain Biking,a zaprezentowana na targach Interbike
pierwsza w historii karbonowa rama Jamisa została nominowana do nagrody na ‘’Najbardziej innowacyjny produkt 1998 roku’’ w tym samym magazynie.
- 2000 rok - zbudowaliśmy nasz pierwszy rower do przełaju – Nova, a Dakar Sport został wybrany przez Mountain Biking najlepszym rowerem roku ‘’Bike of the
Year’’ do 800$.Rok później Dakar Comp został wybrany najlepszym rowerem na rynku amerykańskim w kategorii 800$ -1500$.
Kolejne lata obfitowały w następne nagrody:
- 2003 rok - Jamis Dakar XLT 5 został wybrany rowerem roku do All Mountain
- 2003 rok – Jamis Dakar XC Comp zdobył nagrodę ‘’Bike of the Year” w kategorii najlepszy rower do agresywnego XC magazynu Mountain Biking
- 2004 rok – Jamie Dakar XLT drugi rok z rzędu zdobywa tytuł ‘’Bike of the Year” do All Mountain przyznawaną przez Bicycling Magazine
- 2004 rok – Jamis Coda zdobywa tę samą nagrodę w kategorii Comfort Road Bike
- 2005 rok jest przełomowy dla Jamisa. Firma po zainwestowaniu w nowe technologie wypuszcza na rynek serię karbonowych rowerów szosowych - Xenith.
W tym samym roku otrzymuje kolejne dwie nagrody:
- Jamis Dakar XLT zostaje uhonorowany po raz kolejny tytułem ‘’Bike of the Year’’ w kategorii rowerów full suspension, a model Quest zdobywa tę samą
