Poszukujemy osób zajmujących się naukowo Polską w ramach nauk społecznych, humanistycznych,
ekonomicznych, kulturoznawstwa bądź prawa i zainteresowanych współpracą z międzynarodową
naukową platformą internetową Studia-o-Polsce.Interdyscyplinarnie (Pol-Int) w charakterze
redaktorów-wolontariuszy.
Studia-o-Polsce.Interdyscyplinarnie to projekt Centrum Interdyscyplinarnych Studiów o Polsce
Uniwersytetu Europejskiego Viadrina we Frankfurcie nad Odrą i Collegium Polonicum w Słubicach.
Portal służy wymianie informacji na temat projektów badawczych, publikacji, ofert pracy i grantów
oraz wydarzeń naukowych. Ponadto platforma umożliwia nawiązywanie kontaktów i jest miejscem
publikacji interdyscyplinarnych wyników badań oraz debat na ich temat. Inteligentna wyszukiwarka,
feeds i filtry tematyczne gwarantują zarejestrowanym użytkownikom dostęp do indywidualnie
dobranych informacji.
Nawigacja na stronie odbywa się w języku polskim, niemieckim i angielskim.
Poszukujemy badaczy, szczególnie tych rozpoczynających swoją karierę naukową, którzy chcieliby
czynnie zaangażować się w pracę interdyscyplinarnego i międzynarodowego zespołu redakcyjnego i w
ten sposb nie tylko przyczynić się do rozwoju innowacyjnego serwisu naukowego, ale też jako
redaktorzy swojej dyscyplinie lub tematyce badawczej umocnić swoją pozycję w międzynarodowej
wspólnocie naukowej.
Redaktorzy będą odpowiedzialni za:

wyszukiwanie nowych publikacji ze swojej dziedziny, wybór ciekawych pozycji książkowych oraz
zlecanie ich recenzji;

Wymagania:

kilkuletnie doświadczenie w pracy naukowej w przynajmniej jednej dziedzinie badawczej;
znajomość przynajmniej jednego z trzech języków platformy na poziomie języka ojczystego oraz
dobra, aktywna znajomość przynajmniej jednego z pozostałych dwóch języków;
doświadczenie w pracy redaktorskiej bądź publikacjach naukowych;
motywacja do współpracy w międzynarodowym zespole redaktorów z różnych dziedzin;
zainteresowanie formami publikacji internetowych.

Für die internationale wissenschaftliche Informations- und Kommunikationsplattform
Polenstudien.Interdisziplinär (Pol-Int) www.pol-int.org suchen wir ehrenamtliche FachredakteurInnen
aus allen Bereichen der Sozial-, Geistes-, Kultur-, Wirtschafts- und Rechtswissenschaften, die sich mit
Polen beschäftigen.

Polenstudien.Interdisziplinär ist am Zentrum für Interdisziplinäre Polenstudien (ZIP) der EuropaUniversität Viadrina zu Frankfurt (Oder) und dem Collegium Polonicum in Słubice angesiedelt und
dient dem Austausch relevanter Informationen über Forschungsprojekte, Publikationen, Job- und
Fördermöglichkeiten sowie Veranstaltungen. Darüber hinaus bietet die Plattform eine Vielzahl an
Möglichkeiten der Vernetzung, Präsentation und Diskussion von Forschungsergebnissen. Intelligente
Suchfunktionen und thematische Filter garantieren dem registrierten Nutzer eine individuell
zugeschnittene Informationsversorgung. Das Menü wird in den Sprachen Deutsch, Polnisch und
Englisch geführt.
Wir suchen Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler, explizit auch
NachwuchswissenschaftlerInnen, die Lust haben, im interdisziplinären und internationalen
Redaktionsteam mit RezensentInnen und RedakteurInnen zusammenzuarbeiten, das innovative
Online-Forschungsangebot voranzubringen und sich als Fachredakteure für einzelne Disziplinen oder
bestimmte Forschungsthemen in der internationalen Wissenschaftsgemeinschaft stärker zu
profilieren.
Zu den Aufgaben gehören:

Sondierung der Neuerscheinungen zum verantwortlichen Fachbereich, Auswahl und Vergabe
besprechenswerter Bücher;
Betreuung von Rezensenten, inhaltliche und sprachliche Redaktion von Rezensionen (in
Rücksprache mit dem Redaktionsteam);
Teilnahme an einem jährlich stattfindenden zweitägigen Redaktionstreffen bzw. einer Schulung
(Ausgaben für Reisekosten, Unterkunft und Verpflegung werden von Pol-Int getragen).
Anforderungen:

mehrjährige Erfahrung in der wissenschaftlichen Arbeit in mindestens einem ausgewiesenen
Forschungsfeld;
muttersprachliches Niveau in mindestens einer der drei Fremdsprachen, gute aktive Kompetenz in
mindestens einer weiteren;
Erfahrung mit Redaktionsarbeit oder wissenschaftlichen Publikationen;
Freude an der Zusammenarbeit in einem internationalen und interdisziplinären Redaktionsteam;
Interesse und Aufgeschlossenheit gegenüber Online-Publikationsformen.

CALL FOR EDITORS Polish-Studies.Interdisciplinary (Pol-Int)
We are currently looking for skilled editors from all areas of the humanities, social, cultural,
economic and legal studies that deal with Poland for the online scholastic information and
communication platform www.pol-int.org Polish-Studies.Interdisciplinary (Pol-Int). The platform is up
and running from the summer semester 2014.
Polish-Studies.Interdisciplinary is based at the Center for Interdisciplinary Polish Studies at the
European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Collegium Polonicum (Słubice) and
supports the exchange of relevant information about research projects, publications, jobs, funding
opportunities and events. In addition, the platform offers the opportunity to network, present and
discuss interdisciplinary research on Poland.
Intelligent search, feeds and thematic filters provide the registered user individually tailored
information. The language of conduct is English, Polish and German.
We are looking for scholars, but also post-graduate and PhD students to work on a voluntary basis as
editors responsible for individual disciplines, and/or specific research topics.

Tasks include:

Selecting, ordering and sending new and insightful publications in relevant fields
Overseeing reviews and editorial content (responsible editors are mentioned by name in any review)
Attending an annual two-day editorial meeting or training session. (Travel and accommodation
covered by Pol-Int).
Requirements:

Experience in scholarly work in at least one designated area of research;
Native knowledge in at least one of the three foreign languages, as well as advanced knowledge of
at least one other;
Experience in editorial or academic publications;
Willingness to collaborate in an international, interdisciplinary editorial board and conceptually
contribute to the agenda of Pol-Int;
Interest and openness to online publication forms and willingness to learn about the online
platform.
