GUARANTEE
Il costruttore garantisce che i suoi prodotti sono
privi di difetti nel materiale e nella lavorazione per
un periodo di un anno dalla data della consegna,
in condizioni normali di uso e di manutenzione.
L’obbligo derivante da questa garanzia, è limitato
alla sostituzione e/o alla riparazione di quel particolare o particolari che dopo nostra ispezione si
verificassero difettosi nel materiale o nella lavorazione e che non siano stati alterati in alcun modo
o che non siano stati soggetti a cattivo uso, negligenza o incidente.
Le spese per eventuali sopralluoghi, eseguiti dalla Ditta CAFFINI, le spese di trasporto ed imballaggio delle parti da riparare o sostituire, nonchè
la manodopera per il montaggio delle medesime,
sono a carico del compratore.
Nessuna garanzia fatta da persona diversa dal
Costruttore, sarà ritenuta valida e vincolante.
Il Costruttore si riserva il diritto di apportare modifiche nei suoi prodotti in qualsiasi momento senza preavviso. Quando vengono effettuati tali cambiamenti, il Costruttore non si assumerà nessun
obbligo di effettuare queste modifiche in prodotti
fabbricati precedentemente.
All’atto della consegna, controllare che l’atomizzatore non abbia subito danni durante il trasporto e che siano a posto gli eventuali accessori.
Gli eventuali reclami dovranno essere presentati per iscritto, entro 6 giorni.
L’acquirente potrà far valere i suoi diritti sulla
garanzia solo qualora abbia rispettato le condizioni di garanzia insite nel contratto di
fornitura.
The manufacturer guarantees that his products
are free of defects in material and workmanship
for a period of one year from delivery, under
normal conditions of use and maintenance.
The liability arising from this guarantee is limited to the replacement and/or repair of that
part or those parts, which, after our inspection,
are found to be defective in material or workmanship, provided that they were not tampered
or subjected to bad use, negligence or accident.
Any expenses for checks on site carried out by
CAFFINI, transport costs, packaging of any parts
to be repaired or replaced as well as the
manpower hours will be paid by the buyer.
Any guarantee made by persons different from
the manufacturer, will not be considered valid
and binding.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify
his products at any time without any advance
notice. When any modifications occur, the manufacturer shall not be obliged to carry out such
modifications in previously manufacted products.
On delivery it is necessary to check that the
sprayer has not been damaged during the transport and that it is complete with the eventual
accessories.
Eventual claims should be communicated in
writing within 6 days.
The buyer can avail himself of his guarantee
rights only if he has observed all the guarantee conditions contained in the sale contract.

1) Qualora si verifichi un errore di manovra.

Cliente, senza il consenso della CAFFINI o a
causa del montaggio di pezzi di ricambio non
originali, il polverizzatore dovesse subire modifiche ed il danno imputabile alle stesse.

the Customer without CAFFINI’s approval,
or because of the installation of non-original
parts, the sprayer was subjected to modifications and the damage is imputable to these
latter.
3) Qualora non ci si attenesse alle istruzioni descritte nella seguente pubblicazione.

Sono escluse dalla garanzia le parti che per natura o per destinazione sono soggette a deterioramento o logorio o a cattiva manutenzione.

Any parts which are by their very nature or use subject to deterioration, wear and tear or bad maintenance will not be covered by this guarantee.

These can be found printed on the identification plate placed on the forward side of the
mixer wagon (Fig.1). Orders cannot be processed without the serial number.

Prima di procedere al trattamento
vero e proprio:
• accertarsi di disporre del prodotto adatto per il trattamento e che sia in quantità sufficiente;
• contrassegnare il campo e le zone di passaggio del
polverizzatore, al fine di evitare sovrapposizioni
dell’irrorazione (eccessiva o insufficiente);
• informarsi in merito alle condizioni meteorologiche ed alle
previsioni del tempo per l’intero periodo di applicazione;
• accertarsi che le condizioni delle colture o la crescita
dell’organismo bersaglio giustifichino il trattamento;
• prima di preparare la miscela da irrorare, controllare tutte le impostazioni e la taratura del polverizzatore, leggere
con cura le istruzioni e le raccomandazioni per l’uso dei
prodotti antiparassitari e della macchina stessa.
Si devono inoltre prendere alcune misure precauzionali in merito alla miscela di
irrorazione da preparare:

Before proceeding with the spraying treatment, it is necessary to take the following steps:
• To make sure to avail of the suitable product for the
treatment in a sufficient quantity.
• To mark the spraying surface and the sprayer unning areas
by means of some reference stakes or of a foam row marking
device (optional equipment), in order to avoid spraying
superimpositions (excessive or unsufficient spraying).
• To take information about weather conditions and weather
forecast during the whole spraying time.
• To make sure that the spraying treatment is really
necessary in consideration of the conditions of the
cultivations or of the growth of the target organism.
• Before preparing the spraying mixture, it is necessary to
check the sprayer adjustment and to read carefully the
instructions on the use of the plant protection products
and of the equipment itself.
Furthermore the following precautionary measures should be taken when preparing the spraying mixture:
• in ogni caso, quando si miscelano prodotti antiparassitari, si raccomanda di controllare con il rappresentante dei prodotti utilizzati che gli stessi siano fisicamente, chimicamente e biologicamente compatibili;
• il volume di miscela da irrorare in rapporto sia ai prodotti
antiparassitari impiegati, sia allo stato di crescita delle
colture che allo stato di sviluppo delle infestazioni, riferiti
all’area da trattare, in modo da preparare le quantità di
miscela esatta da irrorare.
• When mixing plant protection poducts, we suggest to check in any case together with the seller
of the used products if the same are physically,
chemically and biologically com-patilble.
• To check the volume of the spraying mixture
according to the growth of cultivations and the
development conditions of the infestations on
the spraying area, in order to prepare an exact
quantity of spraying mixture.
TRASPORTO E SOLLEVAMENTO
DELLA MACCHINA SU AUTOMEZZO
TRANSPORT AND LIFTING THE
MACHINE ON MEANS OR VEHICLE
• Controllare la sagoma limite; altezza, larghezza e peso
del mezzo compresa la macchina, devono essere compatibili con le strade da percorrere, gallerie, sottopassi, ponti
condutture elettriche, telefoniche ecc.
• Osservare le regole vigenti per le segnalazioni necessarie, le regole per la velocità ed il transito stradale, richiedere eventuali permessi ecc.
• Prima di procedere alle operazioni di imbragatura della macchina per il sollevamento, controllare che non vi sia residuo alcuno
di liquido all'interno della cisterna. Altra precauzione da prendere è quella di controllare il serraggio di tutte le viti che compongono le parti della macchina interessate all'aggancio.
• Fare particolare attenzione alla scelta delle fasce, catene,
o staffe per il sollevamento che devono essere omologate.
La portata del mezzo di

superiore al peso della
macchina (vedi targhetta CE).
• Check the limit outline; the height, width and weight of
the vehicle including the machine, must be compatible
with the roads to be covered, tunnels, underpasses,
bridges, electric power lines, telephone lines, etc.
• Observe the current regulations for the necessary
signalling, the regulations on speed and road traffic,
request possible permits, etc.
• Before proceeding with machine slinging operations for
lifting, make sure there are no residuals of liquid inside
the cistern. Another precaution to be taken is to check
the tightness of all the screws making up those parts of
the machine relevant to hooking.
• Pay particular attention to the choice of straps, chains, or
brackets for lifting, which must be typeapproved (see figure).

Prestare molta attenzione alle linee elettriche nelle fasi
di carico e scarico della macchina, che deve avvenire su
terreno piano e ad una distanza di sicurezza dai bordi dei
fossi o dalle strade. Non sollevare e trasportare mai la
macchina in posizione di equilibrio precario.
Pay particular attention to the electric lines in the
machine loading and unloading phases, which must
occur at ground level and at a safety distance from the
edges of ditches or the road. Never lift or carry the
machine in a precariously balanced position.

3) Tenere le mani e i vestiti lontani da qualsiasi parte
in movimento. E’assolutamente vietato salire e/o
avvicinarsi alle parti rotanti e/o agli organi in movimento della macchina, durante il suo funzionamento.
4) Prima di mettere in moto il polverizzatore e/o negli
spostamenti, assicurarsi che non ci sia alcuna persona dietro e/o nelle vicinanze dello stesso.
5) Non lasciare MAI le macchine in moto senza sorveglianza.
6) Oltre al freno a mano della trattrice, utilizzare i
tappi a cuneo per evitare che la trattrice possa
accidentalmente mettersi in movimento.
7) Prima di immettersi in strade di pubblico transito,
verificare che l’insieme trattrice/attrezzatura siano in regola con il Codice della Strada della nazione in cui opera l’attrezzatura.
8) E’ vietato compiere qualsiasi operazione di
manutenzione o di riparazione con macchina
in movimento e/o su organi in moto.
9) E’ assolutamente vietato rovinare, manomettere o
togliere le cuffie protettive dall’albero cardanico e le protezioni degli organi in movimento.
10) Osservare e leggere attentamente tutti gli adesivi che indicano i dati sul polverizzatore. Assicurarsi che tutti gli adesivi siano sempre in buono
stato e leggibili. In caso di deterioramento degli
stessi, sostituirli con adesivi nuovi.
11) E’ assolutamente vietato l’ingresso nella cisterna.
12) Usare il polverizzatore solo per trattamenti
fitosanitari e non per altri usi.
13) Non utilizzare il polverizzatore con liquidi o acidi
corrosivi o con qualsiasi altro liquido non attinente
ai

3) Keep hands and clothes far from any moving
parts of the machine. It is absolutely
forbidden to go up and/or to approach the
rotating parts and/or moving elements of
the machine during operation.
4) Before starting up of the sprayer and/or
when it is moving, make sure that nobody
is behind and/or near it.
5) NEVER leave operating machines unwatched.
6) Use wedges, besides the hand brake of the
tractor, in order to avoid an accidental
tractor movement.
7) Before driving through public traffic roads,
make sure that the tractor/sprayer unit
complies with the highway code of the
country where the machine operates.
8) It is forbidden to carry out any maintenance
or repair on moving parts and/or when the
machine is operating.
9) It is absolutely forbidden to spoil, to tamper or to
remove the protection casings from the cardan shaft
and the guards from the moving machine elements.
10) Observe and read carefully all the
instructions indicated in the sprayer data
labels.Make sure that they are always in
good conditions and legible. If spoiled,
replace them with new ones.
11) It is absolutely forbidden to go inside the tank.
12) Use the sprayer only for plant protection
treatments, but not for other use.
13) Do not use the sprayer with corrosive liquids
or acids, or with any other liquid not
pertaining to phyto-sanitary treatments.

products, the following precautions should
be observed:
1) Indossare l’abbigliamento e l’equipaggiamento protettivo come suggerito dal Fabbricante
del prodotto chimico e comunque a norma
di legge.

manufacturer of the chemical product.
2) Non trasportare passeggeri sul trattore
o sul polverizzatore.

INITIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
OF THE SPRAYER
Per assicurare la massima durata ed un funzionamento privo di intoppi, leggere attentamente
le seguenti istruzioni, prima di collegare la presa di forza del polverizzatore al trattore.
1) Il polverizzatore deve essere agganciato ad una trattrice di peso idoneo a
garantire un trasporto ed un arresto di
tutta sicurezza (anche a pieno carico).
In order to assure a long life and a trouble-free
operation of the sprayer, you should read carefully the below-mentioned instructions, before connecting the sprayer P.T.O. with the tractor.

2) Prima di inserire il cardano, assicurarsi che sia
in ottime condizioni di scorrimento (controllare periodicamente ed ingrassare i tubi e le
crociere del cardano, ovviamente a macchina ferma).
Controllare inoltre la lunghezza dell’albero
cardanico, misurando dapprima la distanza
(A) tra le 2 scanalature del trattore e del
polverizzatore (Fig. 3).
Eseguire la stessa misura tra i pulsanti del
giunto cardanico quando questo è completamente chiuso e verificare l’esistenza di una
corsa libera di almeno 50 mm sul tubo di protezione del cardano, per evitare l’appoggio e
la spinta dello stesso sulla pompa (Fig. 4).
Nel caso il cardano fosse corto, assicurarsi che
esista un accoppiamento fra i tubi telescopici di
almeno 1/3 della loro lunghezza (Fig. 5).
1) The sprayer should be be coupled with a
tractor of suitable weight, able to guarantee a safe transport and stop (even at
full load).
2) Before connecting the cardan shaft, make sure that it is in very good sliding conditions
(check and lubricate regularly pipes and crossjournals of the cardan shaft (obviously when
the machine is out of operation). Check also
the lenght of the cardan shaft, by measuring
first the distance (A) between the two splines
of the tractor and of the sprayer (Fig. 3).
Carry out the same measurement between
the push-buttons of the universal joint, when
this latter is completely closed, and check
that there is a free stroke of at least 50 mm
on the cardan shaft protection tube, in order
to avoid its resting and thrust on the pump
(Fig. 4).
If the cardan shaft is too short, check that
there ist a coupling between the telescopic
pipes of at least 1/3 of their length (Fig. 5).

Nel caso il cardano fosse lungo, tagliare i tubi
metallici e quelli di protezione fino a che la misura
non sia corretta, quindi sbavare accuratamente i
tubi e pulirli dalle scorie, procedendo con un buon
ingrassaggio.
3) Innestare il cardano al polverizzatore spingendo il giunto cardanico fino a che il perno rientra
nella scanalatura di bloccaggio dell’albero della presa di forza del polverizzatore.
4) Avvicinarsi al polverizzatore con il trattore, portarsi in posizione corretta per l’aggancio, spegnere il motore ed estrarre la chiave. Azionare il freno
di stazionamento del trattore, scendere, agganciare i bracci di sollevamento ai perni del
polverizzatore (A - Fig.6) e inserire le molle di
sicurezza sui perni. Agganciare il braccio del 3°
punto alla forcella (B) posta in alto sul telaio del
polverizzatore inserendo il perno di accoppiamento (C) e poi la molla di sicurezza. Chiaramente nei
trattori dotati di innesto rapido, il collegamento
trattore-polverizzatore, sarà notevolmente più
agevole e rapido.
5) Regolare infine l’inclinazione del polverizzatore
agendo sul braccio del 3° punto affinchè la posizione del polverizzatore diventi perfettamente verticale.
6) Con la presa di forza disinserita innestare il giun
to cardanico nell’albero di trasmissione del trattore, assicurandosi che il perno sia entrato nella scanalatura di bloccaggio dell’albero della presa di forza
del trattore.
7) Ultimata questa fase, assicurare la protezione
del cardano con le due catenelle al trattore ed al
polverizzatore, onde evitare che il cardano porti in
rotazione anche la sua protezione.Fissare le catene in modo che permettano l’articolazione della
trasmissione in ogni condizione di lavoro e
di trasporto.
If the cardan shaft is too long, cut metal and
protection pipes till the correct dimension is
obtained, than carefully deburr pipes, remove
slags and grease abundantly.
3) Connect the cardan shaft with the sprayer by
pushing the universal joint until the pin enters
into the locking spline of of the sprayer P.T.O.
shaft.
4) Let the tractor get near the sprayer, move to
a correct coupling position, stop the engine
and remove the key from the ignition. Engage the tractor parking brake, go down the
tractor, couple the lifting arms with the
sprayer pins (A - Fig 6) and insert safety
springs on pins. Couple the third point arm
with the fork (B) positioned on the top of
the sprayer frame by inserting the coupling
pin (C) and than the safety spring. It is clear
that the tractor/sprayer connection will be
easier and quicker in tractors equipped with
quick coupling.
5) At last adjust the sprayer inclination by acting
on the the third point arm in a way that the
sprayer position becomes perfectly vertical.
6) With disengaged P.T.O. in s e r t t h e
universal joint in the tractor propeller shaft
and make sure that the pin has entered into
the locking spline of the tractor P.T.O. shaft.
7) At the end of this stage, secure the cardan
shaft guard to the tractor and sprayer by means
of two chains, in order to prevent that the
cardan shaft, when turning, causes the rotation
of its guard. The chains should be fastened in
such a way to allow the articulation of transmission under any operation and transport
conditions.

8) In caso di sostituzione dell’albero cardanico,
verificare che sia di dimensioni adeguate (potenza 2 o potenza 5 nel caso di PROFARMER
con manica aria ed impianto idraulico autonomo) in base alla potenza massima assorbita dalla pompa, assicurarsi infine che durante il lavoro, l’albero di trasmissione non
superi mai i 35° di inclinazione (Fig. 7).
9) Alla fine del lavoro, staccare il cardano dal
trattore e supportarlo con l’apposita staffa;
non lasciarlo cadere per terra per evitare rotture della protezione e l’imbrattamento del
giunto cardanico.
10) Controllare che esista sempre una sovrapposizione di almeno 5 cm tra la cuffia di protezione della presa di forza e quella di
protezione del cardano (Fig. 8).

8) Should the cardan shaft need replacing,
check that the new shaft is suitably sized
(power 2 or power 5 for PROFARMER with
autonomous hydraulic system and air hose)
according to maximum power absorbed by
the pump. At last make sure that during
operation the inclination of the propeller
shaft never exceeds 35° (Fig. 7).
9) At the end of the work, disconnect the cardan
shaft from the tractor and lay it on the suitable supporting bracket; never let it fall to
the ground in order to avoid damages of
the guard and the soil of the universal joint.
10) Check that there is always a 5 cm. superimposition between the P.T.O. guard and the
cardan shaft protective casing (Fig. 8).

Nell’osservazione degli incidenti correlati all’uso di prodotti antiparassitari, è noto che
la maggior parte di tali eventi si verifica in
fase di preparazione della miscela da irrorare
ed interessa:
a) L’operatore stesso, in seguito a spruzzi, contatto od inalazione del prodotto antiparassitario o della miscela da irrorare.
b) L’ambiente, in seguito al traboccamento delle
miscele da irrorare, spillamento dei residui rimasti nelle confezioni, conservazione “selvaggia” ed
incontrollata di confezioni non lavate, riversamento
nella rete idrica di eventuali residui.
Per contenere al minimo i suddetti rischi, le operazioni di
preparazione e di riempimento dovranno essere eseguite in
luoghi appositamente predisposti allo scopo. Si definiscono
come tali una “superficie pianeggiante eseguita con piano in
cemento o altro materiale (che non permetta la permeazione
nel terreno di eventuali liquidi antiparassitari o erbicidi) sulla quale sono preparate le miscele con prodotti antiparassitari,
da versare poi nel serbatoio di erogazione del polverizzatore,
rabboccando infine con acqua”. Oltre ad indossare indumenti
per la protezione individuale, si dovrà aver cura di attrezzare
il suddetto luogo in modo da poter arrestare lo scorrimento
incontrollato di spillamenti delle miscele da irrorare. Sia esso
stazionario o mobile, tale luogo dovrà comprendere tutte le
attrezzature necessarie per eseguire le operazioni previste
dalle procedure di preparazione delle miscele di prodotti
antiparas-sitari da irrorare, nonché dalle procedure di pulizia
dell’operatore, in caso di sua contaminazione.
Considering the accidents related with the
use of plant protection products, it is known,
that the most of them happens during the
preparation of the spraying mixture and can
damage the following:
a) The operator, as a consequence of sprinkling,
contact or inhaltion of the plant protection
product or of the spraying mixture.
b) The environment, due to the overflowing of the
spraying mixture, dripping of chemical product remainders from packages or containers, uncontrolled
storage of unwashed containers, pouring of eventual
chemical product remainings into the drainage system.
In order to reduce the above mentioned risks as much as
possible, the preparation and filling operations should be
carried out in suitable places, properly arranged for this
purpose. A suitable place is intended “a flat surface made of
cement or other material (preventing the penetration of
eventual plant protection products into the ground), on which
the plant protection product mixtures are prepared and then
poured into the sprayer tank, topping up at last with some
water”. Besides wearing protective clothes, some care should
be taken in arranging this place in a way to stop the possible
uncontrolled flowing of the spraying mixture to the ground.
Either stationary or mobile, such a place should contain all
the necessary equipments to carry out all operations forseen
by the procedures for the preparation of the spraying
mixtures, as well as those forseen by the operator’s cleaning
procedures in case of contamination.

the filter cartridge (D) and clean it.
11) Rimontare il tutto, seguendo l’ordine inverso,
facendo attenzione che l’anello OR (E) sia nella
posizione corretta e non sia deteriorato.

12) In fine rimontare la valvola (A).

in gomma dell’acqua pulita.
By climbing a service ladder, the spraying system
washing tank can be filled directly through the
tank’s hatch (A - Fig. 10). However, a much
simpler and safer way to fill the tank is by
pushing the clean water hose onto the connector
(B).

LAVAGGIO DELLE CONFEZIONI VUOTE

Non appena svuotate, le confezioni che abbiano contenuto prodotti antiparassitari o diserbanti, dovranno essere lavate e risciacquate con acqua pulita. L’acqua di rifiuto del lavaggio dovrà essere riversata nel
serbatoio di erogazione.
Nel caso che l’attrezzatura sia provvista di un sistema
di lavaggio incorporato, l’operazione di lavaggio dei
contenitori dovrà avvenire nelle seguenti fasi:
1) Aprire la valvola (A) del gruppo comando.
2) Immettere i contenitori nel dispositivo di pulizia finché non appoggino sul piatto di supporto e spingere verso il basso il contenitore
(B).
Questa manovra permette alla valvola di immissione del liquido di attivarsi e procedere al
lavaggio dei contenitori.
Dopo 30 secondi, verificare la pulizia del contenitore, eventualmente procedere con un ulteriore lavaggio.
3) Una volta rilasciata la spinta verso il basso
del contenitore, la valvola di immissione del
liquido si chiuderà automaticamente.
L’ugello di lavaggio dei contenitori è di tipo
rotante per poter lavare in maniera migliore i
contenitori anche nei punti più difficili.
4) Aspirare il liquido di lavaggio nel serbatoio principale portando la valvola (C) in pos. 2.
Una volta aspirato tutto il liquido, portare la valvola (C) in pos. 3, procedere al risciacquo del
serbatoio portando la valvola (C) in pos. 1, quindi aspirare il liquido di risciacquo portando la valvola (C) in pos. 2. Alla fine delle operazioni verificare che la leva (C) della valvola sia in pos. 3
quindi chiudere la valvola (A) nel gruppo di comando.
Once emptied, the plant protection product containers should be washed and rinsed with clean
water.
Waste water should be poured into the sprayer
tank.
If the tank is equipped with a built-in washing
system, the containers washing operation should
happen as follows:
1) Open the valve (A) of the control unit.
2) Put containers into the cleaning device until
they lay on the supporting plate push down
the container (B).
This movement allows the opening of the liquid inlet valve and the starting of the the containers washing procedure.
After 30 seconds, make sure the container is
clean, and if necessary proceed with further
cleaning.
3) By releasing the thrust on the container,
the liquid inlet valve will close automatically. The containers washing nozzle is of the
rotating type for a better washing of the containers even in their less accessible parts.
4) Suck washing liquid in the main tank by
bringing valve (C) to pos. 2. After sucking
all the liquid, bring valve (C) to pos. 3,
proceed with rinsing the tank by bringing valve (C) to pos. 1, then suck the rinse liquid
by bringing valve (C) to pos. 2. At the end
of the operations, make sure lever (C) of the
valve is in pos. 3 then close valve (A) in the
control unit.

esempio per quelli infiammabili, non saranno ammesse fiamme libere, braci o punte incandescenti. Essere sempre aggiornati sulle
norme legislative relative all’uso di prodotti
chimici ed ai metodi di decontaminazione.
Some products need some particular
precautional measures.
For instance inflammable products should be
kept far from flames, embers or incandescent objects. It is necessary to get up-todate information about the safety regulations
in force on the use of chemical products and
on their decontamination procedures.
In case of need, we recommend to apply to

2) Lavare bene sia il polverizzatore che il trattore utilizzando se necessario un prodotto detergente.

using a detergent product if necessary.
3) Risciacquare accuratamente la macchina
con acqua e far uscire dai getti l’acqua di
risciacquatura (disperdendola su una superficie ancora da trattare). Nel fare questo si dovranno osservare le indicazioni
sulla pulizia, indicate nelle istruzioni d’uso
del prodotto antiparassitario, comprese le
avvertenze relative ad indumenti, protezioni, farmaci disintossicanti ecc.
3) Rinse carefully the machine with water and
let rinsing water get out from nozzles (and
then distribute it on a surface still be treated).
During such operation, it is necessary to follow
the instructions for cleaning indicated in the
istructions for use of chemicals, including the
precautionary measures relative to clothes,
protections, detoxicating remedies, etc.

5) Se i prodotti utilizzati tendono ad intasare il
filtro autopulente, con la pompa in pressione
e gli ugelli chiusi, aprire la valvola di spurgo
(D - Fig. 18) ed attendere che il liquido
fuoriesca per alcuni secondi, dopodiché
richiudere la valvola.

non autorizzate o animali si avvicinano all’attrezzatura.
6) If it is necessary to leave the liquid inside
the tank for small periods, you should prevent non-authorized persons and animals to
get near the sprayer.
7) Per il rimessaggio invernale dopo aver effettuato le operazioni di cui sopra, introdurre
nel serbatoio una miscela di antigelo, far girare lentamente la pompa, aprire le valvole
di alimentazione dei getti e attendere fino a
che non si vedrà uscire il liquido degli stessi.
A questo punto chiudere istantaneamente le
valvole di alimentazione dei getti.
7) For the winter storage of the sprayer, after
carrying out all the above mentioned operations, fill the tank with some antifreeze liquid,
let the pump rotate slowly, open the nozzle
feed valves and wait until the liquid gets out
from nozzles. At this stage close the nozzles
feed valves immediately.

Prima di procedere alla distribuzione dell’ultimo serbatoio di antiparassitari, riempire il
serbatoio lavaimpianto con acqua pulita.
L’ impianto di lavaggio di questo polverizzatore ha due possibilità di utilizzo:
Before proceeding to spray the last tank of
chemical mixture, fill the spraying system
washing tank with clean water.
The washing device of this sprayer has
got two use modes:
- Lavaggio dell’ impianto e del serbatoio principale con diluizione del liquido residuo
(1° sistema).
- Washing of the spraying system and of the
main tank with dilution of the residual liquid
(1st mode).
- Lavaggio dell’ impianto senza diluizione del
liquido in cisterna (2° sistema) (optional).
- Washing of the spraying system without
dilution of the liquid inside the tank (2nd
mode) (optional).
Per eseguire tali operazioni, procedere come segue:
In order to carry out the above operations, it is
necessary to proceed as follows:
1° SISTEMA (con diluizione)
1) Diluire il liquido residuo nel polverizzatore,
con l’acqua pulita contenuta nella cisterna
lavaimpianto, (pari al 10% della capacità nominale del serbatoio principale), portando la
leva (A - Fig.19) in posizione (X).
1st MODE (with dilution)
1) Dilute the residual liquid inside the sprayer
with the clean water contained in the spraying
system washing tank, (equal to the 10% of
the main tank nominal capacity), by shifting
the lever (A - Fig. 19) to position (X).
2) Far girare la presa di forza, riducendo la
pressione dell’impianto a circa 5 bar.
Se il polverizzatore è provvisto di getto
rotativo lava esterna, aprire la valvola corrispondente a tale accessorio affinchè durante il lavoro di pulizia si possa lavare internamente il serbatoio principale.
Una volta svuotato il serbatoio lavaimpianto,
portare la leva (A) in posizione (Y).
2) Run the P.T.O., by reducing the system
pressure to about 5 bars.
If the sprayer is equipped with rotating tank
washing nozzle, open the valve relative to this
accessory, so that, during the cleaning
operation, the main tank can be washed inside.
When the tank of the spraying system
washing device is empty, shift the lever (A)
to the position (Y).

Dopo aver distribuito il liquido di lavaggio,
riempire il serbatoio con circa il 10% di
acqua, aggiungere un liquido detergente
acquistabile presso i distributori di prodotti chimici, e far girare la pompa senza
pressione, sciacquare bene l’intero della
cisterna e infine aprire i getti per qualche
istante e poi chiudere.

After spraying the washing liquid, fill the tank
with a 10% of water, add some detergent
liquid, such as soda or triammonium and
let the pump run without pressure, then rinse
the internal surface of the tank and at last
open the nozzles for some seconds and then
close.
5) Aprire il tappo di scarico della cisterna e
far girare la pompa a vuoto per alcuni
secondi.

Controllare se sulle confezioni del prodotto chimico sono indicati alcuni tipi
di detergente specifico e se eventualmente questo, prima di essere espulso, debba rimanere all’interno dell’impianto (cisterna-pompa-gruppo comando-filtri-getti) per un certo periodo di tempo.

6 ) Controllare ed eventualmente pulire tutti i
filtri dell’impianto.

Nel caso si proceda alla pulizia dell’ impianto

di alimentazione (A - Fig.23).

Si raccomanda vivamente di evitare l’irrorazione
in condizioni di vento, in quanto la miscela irrorata potrebbe disperdersi. Il limite massimo ammissibile di velocità del vento viene stabilito sull’ordine dei 5 m/s. Nel caso in cui sia necessario
irrorare in condizioni di vento:
- Aumentare la dimensione delle gocce usando
ugelli più grandi, oppure ugelli speciali antideriva
come il Turboteejet
e “A.I.” (marchi registrati TEEJET) o
similari.
- Ridurre l’altezza
A
della barra rispetto
al bersaglio, anche
se questo può venire a scapito della
qualità di distribuzione della miscela.
- Diminuire la velocità di avanzamento.
- Procedere nella direzione del vento
se possibile.
We strongly recommend not to spray when it is
windy, since the spraying liquid may disperse.
The maximum wind speed allowed for spraying
is about 5 meters/sec. If it is necessary to spray
in windy conditions, it is necessary to take the
following measures:
- Increase the drops dimension by using larger
nozzles (or special anti-drift nozzles)

UGELLI
NOZZLES
1) Ugello a ventaglio (Fig. 24): Normalmente è
l’ugello più usato per i trattamenti diserbanti.
Utilizzato con pressioni da 1 a 5 bar ed in
queste condizioni genera gocce di dimensioni
decrescenti all’aumentare della pressione e non
presenta particolari problemi di deriva. La sua
distribuzione segue una sagoma ellittica.
2) Ugello a ventaglio antideriva: conserva le stesse caratteristiche del modello precedente, ma
genera gocce ancora più grandi che in presenza di vento non generano effetti di deriva
eccessivi. La pressione massima da utilizzare
è di 6 bar (Fig. 24).
3) Ugello doppio ventaglio: viene utilizzato principalmente per trattamenti fungicidi ed insetticidi, per la sua speciale caratteristica di erogare le particelle micronizzate in diagonale, facilitando l’applicazione delle stesse nei posti
più nascosti. Permette inoltre di lavorare a
distanze più ravvicinate rispetto all’ugello a
cono favorendo la penetrazione e diminuendo
l’effetto deriva.
4) Ugello a cono: viene utilizzato normalmente
per trattamenti antiparassitari ed anticrittogamici, ma può anche essere usato per
trattamenti diserbanti. E’ composto normalmente da 2 pezzi, l’ugello vero e proprio e il
convogliatore. La sua distribuzione segue una
sagoma a cono vuoto, senza la presenza di
gocce al centro. Viene utilizzato normalmente
con pressione da 1 a 15 bar.
5) A richiesta è possibile fornire anche altri tipi di
ugelli per trattamenti localizzati, concime liquido
etc.
1) Fan-shaped nozzle (Fig. 24): it is the most
used nozzle for spraying weed killers. It is
used at pressures from 1 to 5 bar and under
these conditions it generates drops of
decreasing size as the pressure is increased
and does not show anyd drift problem.
Its distribution has an elliptical profile.
2) Fan-shaped anti-drift nozzle: it has the same
specifications of the above described nozzle,
but it produces even larger drops, which do
not cause any drift effects when windy.
The maximum allowed pressure is 6 bar (Fig.
24).
3) Fan-shaped double nozzle: it is used mainly
to spray fungicides and insecticides due to
its particular feature, which allows to spray
the micro-particles diagonally, thus making
them to reach the most hidden places. It
allows also to operate at shorter distances
than cone-shaped nozzles, thus improving
the penetration and diminishing the drift
effect.
4) Cone-shaped nozzle: it is generally used to
spray plant protection products, but also to
spray weed killers. It normally consists of two
parts: the nozzle and the conveyor.
Its distribution has an empty cone profile,
without drops in the center.
It is normally used at pressures from 1 to
15 bar.

Per la regolazione e taratura del polverizzatore
usare ACQUA PULITA.
Almeno una volta alla stagione ed in base agli
ettari trattati, controllare che i valori di erogazione
dei singoli getti in l/min corrispondano ai dati segnati sulle tabelle.
For the adjustment and setting of the sprayer, it
is necessary to use CLEAN WATER.
At least once in a season and according to the
hectares treated, check that the delivery values
of the single nozzles in liters/min. conform to
those indicated in the spraying table.
Controllo della portata degli ugelli.
Check of the nozzle rate of flow
Per eseguire tale operazione dotarsi di un misuratore graduato che da istantaneamente il valore
di erogazione in l/min.
Portare l’attrezzatura alla pressione prescelta per
il controllo e aprire un settore della barra.
Posizionare il misuratore graduato.
Controllare sulla tabella lo spandimento in l/min
(del singolo getto) corrispondente alla pressione
delle prove.
Valutare ora se gli ugelli esaminati sono ancora
validi o se sono da sostituire.
E’ consigliabile sostituire gli ugelli quando lo scarto supera il 10% rispetto al valore di tabella.
In order to carry out such operation, use a
graduated container which immediately indicates
the rate of flow in liters/min.
Put the equipment under the pressure value chosen to perform the test, open one spraying boom
section. Put the graduated container.
Check the liters/min. distribution (of the single
nozzle) corresponding to the rated pressure in
the spraying table. Now consider if the used nozzles are still good or if they should be replaced.
We recommend to replace nozzles when the difference between the value verified during the test
and the one indicated in the spraying table is
more than 10%.

Controllo velocità di avanzamento.
Check of the tractor speed.
Per effettuare un trattamento corretto è bene
conoscere oltre che lo spandimento in l/min della
macchina anche il valore esatto della velocità di
avanzamento. Quest’ultima può variare rispetto
alla velocità indicata sul tachimetro del trattore o
sulla tabella del manuale istruzioni sia per lo stato di usura dei pneumatici che della pressione di
gonfiaggio.
Per controllare la velocità è opportuno contrassegnare un tratto di terreno con 2 picchetti alla
distanza di 100 mt uno dall’altro (Fig. 26).
Scegliere quindi la marcia con la quale si effettuerà il trattamento ai giri motore prescelti;
cronometrare i secondi impiegati per compiere il
percorso tenendo presente che è necessario partire con il trattore circa 10 mt prima del primo
picchetto, in modo da poter arrivare già a velocità costante all’inizio della misurazione.
In order to perform a correct treatment, it is
necessary to know, besides the rate of flow of
the machine in liters/min., also the exact tractor speed value. This latter may vary from the
speed indicated in the tractor tachometer or in
the instruction manual due to the wear conditions of tyres and to their inflation pressure.
In order to check the speed, it would be seasonable to mark a section of the run by means of two
stakes, which should be positioned at a distance
of 100 meters one from the other (Fig. 26).
Then select the gear by which the spraying operation will be carried out at the chosen engine
r.p.m.; time the seconds necessary to cover that
distance, keeping in mind that it is necessary to
start running 10 meters before the first stake, in
a way to reach the measuring starting point at a
constant speed.

DISTRIBUTORE VOLUMETRICO

1. Regolazione iniziale:
1) Mettere la leva generale (1 - Fig.27) in posizione verticale.
2) Svitare il pomello pressione (2) girando in
senso antiorario.
3) Mettere le leve delle valvole di sezione (3) in
posizione OFF leva in basso.
4) Avvitare completamente girando in senso orario i regolatori di sezione (4) e volumetrico (5).
5) Azionare la presa di forza e far girare la pompa per alcuni secondi fino a che sia stata espulsa
completamente tutta l’aria presente nel circuito.
6) Abbassare la leva (1) generale portando in
pressione l’impianto. Ora il polverizzatore è
pronto per essere utilizzato.
7) Regolare la pressione agendo sul pomello (2),
portandola al valore di circa 10±15 bar.
8) Alzando infine le leve di sezione (3) si potranno
aprire o chiudere le varie sezioni della barra.
1. Initial adjustment:
1) Move the main lever (1 - Fig. 27) to a vertical
position.
2) Unscrew the pressure adjusting knob (2)
counterclockwise.
3) Move the levers of the section valves (3) to
the OFF position - lever down.
4) Completely screw the section regulators (4 5) clockwise.
5) Engage the P.T.O. and let the pump run for
few seconds, until the air contained in the
circuit has been completely exhausted.
6) Move the main lever (1) downwards, thus
putting the system under pressure. Now the
sprayer is ready for use.
7) Adjust pressure by means of the knob (2) at
the desired pressure value 10±15 bar.
8) At last, by lifting the section levers (3) it is possible
to open or close the different boom sections.
2. Regolazione pressione costante: questa
regolazione deve essere effettuata con acqua pulita.
1) Scegliere la velocità di avanzamento della
trattrice e verificare i giri motore necessari
(guardando il libretto istruz. del trattore, il tachimetro se esiste o meglio verificando direttamente - vedi velocità di avanzamento).
2) Portare la trattrice ai giri motore prescelti,
aprire tutte le valvole di sezione (3), portandole
in posizione ON, e portare l’attrezzatura alla pressione prescelta, es.4 bar, agendo sul pomello (5).
2. Constant pressure adjustment: this
adjustment should be performed using clean water.
1) Choose the tractor speed and check the
necessary engine r.p.m. (looking at the
instructions for use of tractor, the tachometer,
or better by checking directly - see tractor speed).
2) Run tractor engine at the desired r.p.m., open
all section valves (3) by moving them to the
ON position, and put the equipment under
the desired pressure, for instance 4 bar, by
acting on the knob (5).

3) Chiudere la I sezione (3 - Fig. 28) portando
la leva di sezione OFF, seguirà un leggero
innalzamento della pressione.
4) Svitare girando in senso antiorario il
regolatore di sezione (4) corrispondente alla
sezione appena chiusa affinchè la pressione
abbassandosi, arrivi al valore iniziale (es.4 bar).
5) Chiudere la II sezione (3) portando la leva di
sezione in posizione OFF, seguirà un leggero
innalzamento della pressione; procedere come
al punto d.
6) Eseguire la regolazione su tutti i settori
della barra. Ultimata la regolazione si noterà che aprendo o chiudendo uno o più
settori della barra non si avranno variazioni di pressione.
La taratura è stata eseguita ad un determinato
valore di pressione:
Variando la pressione, non sarà necessario ripetere la taratura. Sarà invece necessario rifare la
taratura se si utilizza un tipo di ugello diverso.

3) Close the first section (3 - Fig. 28) by moving
the section lever to the OFF position; a slight
pressure increase will follow.
4) Unscrew the section regulator (4), corresponding to the just closed section,
counterclockwise, so that the pessure, by falling,
reaches the initial value (for instance 4 bar).
5) Close the second section (3) by moving the
section lever to the OFF position; a slight
pressure increase will follow. Proceed as
described in point d.
6) Carry out the adjustment in all spraying boom
sections. At the end of the adjustment, you
will note that, by opening or closing one or
more spraying boom sections, no pressure
change will occure.
The calibration was carried out at a determined
pressure value. By changing the pressure, it will
be not necessary to repeat the calibration. On
the contrary a new calibration will be necessary
if you use a different type of nozzle.

3. Pulizia filtro autopulente
Per procedere alla pulizia del filtro autopulente, con la
pompa in pressione, aprire la valvola di spurgo (C Fig. 29) per alcuni secondi, poi richiuderla.

Leva “Press”: spingendo la leva verso l’alto (+)
la pressione aumenta; spingendo la leva verso il basso (-) la pressione diminuisce.

quando la leva viene abbassata in posizione
“OFF”, tutte le sezioni di barra aperte verranno automaticamente chiuse e saranno automaticamente riaperte quando si porterà la
leva in posizione “ON”.

By pushing the lever upwards
“ON”, the pressure is present inside the system
and it can be adjusted by means of the “Press”
lever; by pushing the lever downwards “OFF”,
the pressure drops to “0 bar” and all the liquid
is discharged into the tank. Moreover, when
the lever is shifted down to the “OFF” position,
all boom sections will automatically close and
will automatically open again by shifting the
lever to the “ON” position.

“Trac” lever: This lever does not operate the

a) Scegliere la velocità di avanzamento della
trattrice e verificare i giri motore necessari
(guardando il libretto istruz. del trattore, il
tachimetro se esiste o meglio verificando direttamente - vedi velocità di avanzamento).
b) Portare la trattrice ai giri motore prescelti,
aprire tutte le valvole di sezione (A - Fig. 32),
posizionando le levette su ON, portare infine
l’attrezzatura alla pressione prescelta, (es. 4
bar), agendo sulla leva “Pres”.
c) Chiudere la I sezione (Fig. 32) portando la
leva di sezione in posizione OFF, seguirà un
leggero innalzamento della pressione.
d) Svitare il pomello (B - Fig. 33), girando in
senso antiorario il regolatore di sezione corrispondente alla sezione appena chiusa affinché la pressione abbassandosi, arrivi al
valore iniziale (es. 4 bar).
e) Chiudere la II sezione (Fig. 32) portando la
leva di sezione in posizione OFF, seguirà un
leggero innalzamento della pressione; procedere come al punto d.
f) Eseguire la regolazione su tutti i settori della
barra. Ultimata la regolazione si noterà che
aprendo o chiudendo uno o più settori della
barra non si avranno variazioni di pressione.

e) Close the second section (Fig. 32) by moving
pressure increase will follow. Proceed as
described in point d.
f) Carry out the adjustment in all spraying boom
sections. At the end of the adjustment, you
will note that, by opening or closing one or
more spraying boom sections, no pressure
change will occure.

Per procedere alla pulizia del filtro autopulente,
con la pompa in pressione, aprire la valvola di
spurgo (A - Fig. 35) per alcuni secondi, poi richiuderla.
E’ possibile inoltre effettuare la pulizia in continuo
del filtro autopulente (nel caso la pompa abbia
portata sufficiante) svitando parzialmente la valvola di spurgo (A - Fig. 35) del filtro stesso.
In order to proceed with the cleaning of the selfcleaning filter, it is necessary to connect a pipe
with the drain valve (A - Fig. 35) for few seconds
and close it again.
It is also possible to continuously clean the selfcleaning filter (if the pump has got a sufficient
delivery) by partially unscrewing the relief valve
(A - Fig. 35) of the filter itself.

Lo scopo di tale regolazione è di ottenere uno
spandimento costante di liquido per unità di superficie (l/ha) in funzione della velocità di avanzamento e nell’ambito della stessa marcia.
Se la regolazione pressione costante è stata eseguita in maniera corretta, la regolazione
volumetrica si avrà in maniera automatica.
Infatti noteremo che all’aumentare del n° di giri
del motore (rispetto ai n° di giri di taratura)
aumenterà proporzionalmente anche la pressione, così come diminuendo i giri motore, diminuirà proporzionalmente anche la pressione.
Queste variazioni di pressione, consentiranno di
mantenere inalterato il rapporto litri su ettaro.
Evidentemente, non trattandosi di sistema computerizzato, esistono dei limiti, infatti il
regolatore è in grado di assorbire variazioni del
n° di giri motore nell’ordine di piu’ o meno 15%
circa. Es.: Se il trattamento (o la taratura) sono
stati eseguiti a 2000 giri motore, il distributore
sarà in grado di mantenere pressoché inalterato il valore dei l/ha per valori del n° di giri compresi tra 1700 ÷ 2300 giri/min.
The purpose of this adjustment is to obtain a
constant liquid distribution per surface unit (l/
ha), according to the tractor speed and at the
same gear.
If the constant pressure adjustment was carried
out correctly, the volumetric adjustment will
happen automatically. In fact you will note that
by increasing the engine r.p.m. (in comparison
with the set r.p.m.), also the pressure will increase
proportionally. In the same way, by reducing
engine r.p.m., also the pressure will diminish
proportionally. These pressure changes allow to
keep the liters/ha ratio unchanged. Since it is not
a computerized system, there are clearly some
limitations; in fact the regulator is able to absorb
changes of engine r.p.m. in a range of + 0 - 15%
about.
For instance: If the spraying operation (or the
setting) were performed at 2000 engine r.p.m.,
the distributor will be able to keep the liter/ha
value almost unchanged in a range from 1700
to 2300 r.p.m.

Durante le operazioni di apertura delle barre, il polverizzatore deve essere sempre posizionato a terra, per evitare il superamento
dei 4 m di altezza e possibili interferenze contro
le linee elettriche aeree.
During boom opening operations the
sprayer must always be positioned on the
ground to avoid exceeding a height of 4m
and possible interference with overhead power

Fare attenzione nella fase di chiusura o apertura
della barra idraulica, che non vi siano persone o
cose nello spazio di manovra della barra stessa
onde evitare che parti mobili della barra, in fase
di movimento li possano colpire. Tale precauzioni
é necessaria anche quando l’attrezzatura é sottoposta a manutenzione. A tale proposito é vietato
scollegare i tubi idraulici in pressione senza prima
aver aperto i pistoni al punto morto o aver bloccato
con supporti meccanici la barra stessa. Fare attenzione
a non effettuare le operazioni di apertura o chiusura
della barra, in vicinanza di linee aeree ad alta tensione.
While opening or closing the hydraulic boom, be
careful that no persons or things are in the
operation range of the boom, in order to prevent
the boom injuring them.
This precautionary measure should be taken also
when carying out maintenance works. With
regard to this, it is absolutely forbidden to disconnect
hydraulic pipes under pressure, without having first
opened the pistons at their dead center or without
having first locked the spraying boom by means of
the mechanical supports.
Be careful and do not open or close the spraying
boom near overhead high-voltage lines.

when the tractor is obliged to run into a groove
with both wheels (on one side) or on camber
terrain.

COMANDO “MAIN”: Effettua l’apertura e la chiusura generale delle sezioni (ON - OFF).
COMANDO “TRAC.”: Abilita e disabilita il
tracciafile (ON - OFF), se questo è presente
sull’irroratore.
COMANDI (C): Effettuano l’apertura e la chiusura
delle sezioni da 1 a 5 (ON - OFF).

Bar operation electrohydraulic controls:
“PRES” CONTROL: It manually adjusts the pressure
(+/-) of the sprayer only when the monitor is in the
“manual” operating mode (flashing LED, “MANUAL” key).
“MAIN” CONTROL:
It opens or closes all boom sections (ON-OFF).
“TRAC” CONTROL: It operates or stops the row
marking device (ON-OFF), if available on the sprayer.

Se l’attrezzatura lavora in collina, é necessario bloccare l’equilibratore, e procedere alla regolazione
dell’assetto per riportare la barra in condizioni di
equidistanza dal suolo anche in condizioni di pendenza. É necessario attuare la regolazione di assetto, anche in tutti quei casi in cui il trattore é
obbligato a marciare con tutte e 2 le ruote (di
lato) in solco, o in terreni fortemente baulati.

the boom. If the equipment works on hills, it
is necessary to lock the equalizer and to adjust
the trim in order to re-position the boom at
an equal distance with the ground, even when
working on slopes. A trim adjustment is also
required when the tractor is obliged to run
into a groove with both wheels (on one side)
or on camber terrain.

Questo quadro di comando integra sullo stesso
pannello sia la parte di controllo del liquido di
erogazione (lato sx), sia la parte di controllo dei
comandi idraulici presenti sulla barra. I comandi
di sezione del liquido sono contrassegnati dal n°1
al n°7 ed aprono in sequenza da sinistra verso
destra tutte le 7 sezioni de barre corrispondenti.
Sotto i comandi di sezione troviamo il pulsante
“Press” che regola la pressione di erogazione
del liquido; premendo verso la posizione (+) aumenteremo la pressione, premendo verso la posizione (-) diminuirà. Il pulsante “Main” attiva o
disattiva la pressione dall’impianto, con il tasto in
posizione “ON” l’impianto verrà messo in pressione e si apriranno tutte le sezioni di barra aperte (con il tasto ON), con il tasto in posizione
“OFF”, la pressione scenderà a “0” bar e verranno chiuse automaticamente tutte le sezioni de barre
aperte. I comandi idraulici posti sul lato destro della
console consentono di manovrare la barra dal posto
di guida.
This control panel integrates on the same panel
both the liquid delivery control part (left side),
and the control part of the hydraulic controls
present on the bar. The liquid section controls
are marked by no.1 to no.7 and open in sequence
from left to right all 7 sections of corresponding
bars.
Below the section controls is the “Press”
pushbutton which regulates delivery of the liquid;
press towards position (+) to increase the
pressure, press towards the position (-) to reduce the pressure. The “Main” pushbutton activates
or deactivates the pressure by the system, with
the key in the “ON” position, the system will be
pressurized and all open sections of the bar will
be opened (with the ON key), with the key in the
“OFF” position, the pressure will fall to “0” bar
and all the open bar sections will be closed.
The hydraulic controls located on the left side of
the console allow the bar to be manoeuvred from
the driver’s position.

Quando si intraprendono lavori di manutenzione, controlli e regolazioni (esclusa quella
volumetrica) l’operatore deve spegnere il
motore della trattrice ed estrarre la chiave.
When executing maintenance operations,
inspections or adjustments (except for
volumetric adjustments), the operator must
always turn off the tractor’s engine and
remove the key from the ignition.
Nel caso in cui per controlli o manutenzioni
al polverizzatore, si utilizzi la scala di servizio, trattandosi di una macchina portata, questa deve sempre essere posizionata a terra.
All’inizio di ogni stagione e nel caso di uso regolare almeno una volta al mese, controllare i seguenti punti, utilizzando acqua pulita:
1) Tenuta di tutte le parti della macchina alla pressione di esercizio massima.
When executing inspection or maintenance

in case of a regular use once in a month, carry
out an inspection of the following sprayer parts
by using clean water:
1) Tightness of all machine parts under the max.

Eseguire comunque con coscienza tutti i lavori di
manutenzione necessari su:

- Pump (see pump handbook inserted in the

- Gruppo distributore + manometro.

- Nozzles.
- Ugelli (sostituirli quando superano i limiti di tolleranza . V.di paragrafo “Indicazioni per il controllo del dosaggio”).
- Nozzle mouthpieces (replace them if the tolerance limit is exceeded - see paragraph “Indications on the control of proportioning”).
- I tubi olio devono essere sostituiti ogni 6 anni
di lavoro o eventualmente anticipare quando si
nota un certo deterioramento.
- The oil pipes must be replaced every 6 service
years, or sooner if deterioration is noticed.
- I tubi flessibili dell’impianto di irrorazione devono essere sostituiti massimo ogni 6 anni di lavoro od eventualmente anticipare quando siano presenti screpolature, tagli od ingrossamenti.
La sostituzione dei tubi sia acqua che olio deve
avvenire con tubi di uguali caratteristiche e che
comunque siano marchiati all’esterno con una
pressione massima di utilizzo che non sia inferiore a quella marchiata sui tubi originali.
- The hoses of the spraying system must be
replaced at least every 6 service years, or
sooner if cracks, cuts or swellings are noticed.
When replacing water and oil hoses make sure
the new hoses match the characteristic of the
original ones. Furthermore, check that they are
externally marked with a maximum operating
pressure which is not lower than the value
marked on the original hoses.

E’ possibile eseguire dei controlli sull’attrezzatura e precisamente:
It is possible to carry out some inspections on
the sprayer and exactly:
1) Controllo del manometro.
Su tutte le pompe è presente un tappo con
filetto da 1/2", togliendo il quale è possibile
avvitare un manometro di precisione per il controllo del manometro dell’attrezzatura.
1) Inspection of manometer.
In all control unit there is a plug with a 1/2"
thread, by removing which it is possible to
connect a precision manometer to check the
manometer of the equipment.
2) Controllo flusso volumetrico.
E’ possibile installare un misuratore di flusso
all’entrata del gruppo comando, svitando e
scollegando il tubo di alimentazione che arriva
dalla pompa e inserendo il misuratore
(flussometro).
Il flussometro dovrà avere un filetto da 1".
Nel caso il flussometro abbia un filetto diverso è
possibile utilizzare dei raccordi adattatori.
Questi adattatori è possibile richiederli al ns.
servizio ricambi, nel caso non fossero reperibili sul mercato.
2) Control of the volumetric flow.
It is possible to install a flowmeter at the
control unit inlet by unscrewing and disconnecting the feed pipe coming from the pump
and by connecting the flowmeter.
The flowmeter should have a 1" thread.
If the flowmeter has a different thread, it is
possible to use some adapters.
These adapters can be requested to our spare
parts department, if they are not availble on
the market.
3) Controllo pressione accumulatore.
E’ molto importante per una corretta e omogenea distribuzione controllare e regolare la
pressione di gonfiaggio dell’accumulatore ad
aria (A - Fig. 43).
La pressione di gonfiaggio dovrà essere pari
al 30/40 % della pressione di lavoro.
Una pressione di gonfiaggio eccessiva, o troppo bassa, porterebbe ad un uscita del liquido
pulsante.
3) Check of the accumulator pressure.
For a correct and even distribution it is very
important to check and to adjust the inflating
pressure of the air accumulator (A - Fig. 43).
The inflating pressure should be equal to the
30/40% of the operating pressure.
An excessive or too low inflating pressure may
cause a leakage of the pulsating liquid.

harmful to the health if used in the correct way
for the required case.

la pelle può asportare i grassi naturali dell’epidermide provocando disidratazione e irritazione.
Nevertheless, excessive or prolonged contact with
the skin can remove the skin’s natural oils,
causing dehydration and irritation.
Gli oli a bassa viscosità in particolare producono
tali effetti, pertanto prestare particolare attenzione quando si movimentano oli usati che possono essere diluiti in seguito a contaminazione
con combustibile.
Low-viscosity oils in particular produce that
effect, therefore pay particular attention when
handling used oils which can be diluted following
contamination with fuel.
Ogni qualvolta si devono movimentare oli è necessario rispettare buone norme di cura e igene
personale e dello stabilimento.

PROCEDURES
Prima di effettuare lavori di manutenzione o di controllo, assicurarsi che il

Before carrying out any maintenance
work or inspections, make sure that
the sprayer is disconnected from the tractor
power take-off. Furthermore, all operations,
especially welding work, must only be carried
out once the spraying circuit has been
cleaned thoroughly.

After carrying out these operations,
correctly replace the safety guards.
Tali operazioni devono essere svolte da un

Prima di eseguire qualsiasi manutenzione o controllo pulire sempre la zona di lavoro e usare utensili idonei ed in buono stato.
La periodicità degli interventi è di seguito indicata
ed è relativa a normali condizioni di utilizzo; pertanto se la macchina è sottoposta a carico gravoso di lavoro, tale periodicità andrà opportunamente ridotta.

controls using soft, dry rags, or lightly soaked in
a mild detergent solution; do not use any kind
of solvent such as alcohol or petrol, because this
could damage the surfaces.

Le eventuali operazioni straordinarie all’interno del serbatoio dovranno essere eseguite da personale qualificato equippaggiato di

Le fuoriuscite di liquido biancastro (olio emulsionato ad acqua) dal compensatore volumetrico della
pompa indicano la rottura delle membrane, così
come la scomparsa rapida dell’olio dallo stesso
compensatore volumetrico.
Arrestare quindi immediatamente il polverizzatore
e sostituire le membrane, dopo un’accurata pulizia dell’interno della pompa.
The leakage of whitish liquid (oil emulsified with
water) from the volumetric compensator of the
pump shows the breaking of membranes, as well
as the quick disappearance of oil inside the volumetric compensator itself: stop the sprayer immediately and replace the defective membranes,
after a careful cleaning of the pump.

l’ugello. Non utilizzare mai punte in metallo o altro materiale duro che possa scalfire l’ugello.

Before putting the wagon in its parking area,
check and carry out the following operations:
• Che il prodotto sia stato completamente scaricato.
• Make sure that it is completely unloaded.
• Posizionare l’albero cardanico su adeguati supporti in modo che l’albero stesso e le sue protezioni non vengano rovinate.
• Place the cardan shaft on suitable supports so
that the shaft and its guards are not ruined.
• Lavare il polverizzatore con un getto d’acqua
facendo attenzione alle parti elettriche.
• Wash the sprayer with a jet of cold water, paying
attention to the electrical parts.
• Ingrassare tutti i punti di ingrassaggio ed eventuali superfici che richiedono questo trattamento.
• Lubricate all the grease points and any surfaces
requiring this treatment.
• Spalmare del grasso sullo stelo dei pistoni ed
eventuali guide.
• Spread grease on the door piston rods and
eventual guides.
• Ricoprire il polverizzatore per quanto possibile,
con un telo protettivo.
• Cover the sprayer as much as possible with a
protective cover.
ATTENZIONE
IMPORTANT!
Nel parcheggiare il polverizzatore è molto importante che il luogo in cui si pone sia:
When parking the wagon, the place where
the machine is put must be:
- Asciutto.
- Dry.
- Al riparo dagli agenti atmosferici.
- Shielded from atmospheric agents.
- Custodito o chiuso per impedire il libero accesso al polverizzatore a quanti non sono
abilitati al suo uso.

to the machine by those not enabled to use
it.
Sarà beneficio dell’utilizzatore ritrovare il
polverizzatore in perfette condizioni alla ripresa
