visio | architects and consultants Firma visio | architects and consultants Pana Rafała Schurmy prowadzi działalność w obszarze zrównoważonego konsultingu, architektury oraz tworzenia Kart Zielonych Produktów. Wśród klientów visio znajdują się takie światowe firmy jak: Lafarge, Kopp, Koło, Siniat czy Actitek Certain percent of the product complies with the credit In specific configuration, the product can contribute to the earning of the credit (explanation below) 0 The use of the product does not interfere with the requirements of this credit (or the credit is irrelevant) Not specified - contact manufacturer for exact info on the product Product does not comply with the requirements of the credit OTHER SUSTAINABLE CHARACTERISTICS DURABILITY - Amongst improved physical characteristics we can find reduced possibility of spalling, improved impact and abrasion resistance, strength, freeze thaw resistance, wear resistance, reduce of shrinkage and uniformity. All those parameters greatly improve the durability of the material, which is the key characteristic for the sustainable development in building sector. LCA assessment proves the importance of durability in minimizing the negative environmental impact. Leightweight Concrete is known for its longevity, therefore design (with use of this popular building material) should be suitable for conversion. RESOURCE FRIENDLY - there is an opportunity to decrease the overall building weight, therefore lower loads on the building foundation will allow the significant material savings. Reducing the volume of used materials should be the major strategy for sustainable material use. DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES CHECKLIST RECYCLABILITY - according to Portland Cement Association - concrete (because of its relatively heavy weight) is frequently crushed & recycled into common aggregate for road based or construction fill and it may also obtain some credits when concrete buildings will be demolished. This characteristic is also applying to Leightweight Concrete THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY - Lightweight Concrete based on Styrofoam is over two times lighter than regular concrete. Its density is at the level between 900-1400 kg/m3. Thermal conductivity at the level of λ ≤ 0.35 [W/m*K] is nearly 5 times greater than regular concrete, ACOUSTICS - its acoustical performance is also superior to most cement-based mixtures. REACH 1 SKANSKA 2 SIN 2.0 3 1 REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances. The law entered into force on June 1, 2007. http://ec.europa.eu/environment/chemicals/reach/reach_intro.htm 2 The list of chemical substances, that do not comply with environmental policy of Skanska Company and are forbidden from use. Purchasing of the products that contain those substances is forbidden for Skanska and its sub-contractors. Last actualization May 2007. 3 The SIN is speeding up legislative processes in order to phase out hazardous substances. Today the official REACH candidate list only encompasses 46 Substances of Very High Concern. The SIN List 2.0 consists of 378 substances and substance groups that are identified by ChemSec as Substances of Very High Concern. * This green product card is referring to following LEED Standards: LEED 2009 New Construction and Major Renovations; LEED 2009 Core and Shell; LEED 2009 for Schools; LEED 2009 for Retail. According to USGBC registration in LEED 2009 system will be possible till June 2015. All above standards are expiring on June 25, 2015. LEED is a program of the U.S. Green Building Council USGBC that establishes performance goals in five environmental categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality. A sixth category -Innovation & Design, addresses those environmental issues not included in the environmental categories such as acoustics, community enhancement, education, and expertise in sustainable design or extraordinary results in selected credits within 5 major categories. USGBC holds the copyrights to the LEED brand name and rating system. For more information about the certain credits purchase the full version of LEED Reference Guide available under link below https://new.usgbc.org/resources/leed-reference-guide-green-building-design-and-construction ** Those credits are available for all projects located in Poland. According to Leed definition of the regional material 100% of the components are local in Poland and 10 other countries. All information about rated product is based on the data provided by the manufacturer (or the independent third party institution). This datasheet will be available in Green Product Database at visio | architects and consultants and IC PLGBC website. Each new version of the GREEN PRODUCT CARD ™ for the same merchandise overwrites the older version. This card is not official in terms of LEED rating system. None product of itself is able to provide certain points within LEED certification – which rates a whole building not a single material. The purpose of this card is to facilitate the work of green building professionals, architects, consultants and to provide easy access to the data necessary for the LEED certification prospect; however it is not releasing them from the responsibility of verifying all received information. Despite diligent data treatment visio | architects and consultants do not take responsibility for their correctness, future update or evaluation in terms of LEED certification.
