Forty Hours Thank You Sincere thanks to all who helped in any way with the celebration of our Forty Hours Eucharistic Devotion, including: Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, members of Paugassett Hook and Ladder Co. (and the two gentlemen who stepped in to carry the canopy when two of the firemen had to leave for a fire call), the men and women who cooked and served appetizers and the dinner, those who baked desserts, our sacristan who prepared the Altar linens, CCD students and parents who attended, organist and choir, those who participated in the procession, and the lady who created the lovely floral arrangements for the altar. Everyone’s cooperation made this a beautiful and uplifting Forty Hours. Bog Zaplac! Sincerely in Christ, Fr. Marek OCTOBER – MONTH OF THE ROSARY The rosary is prayed at 6:45pm every Monday before the Miraculous Medal Novena and Mass in English and also on Wednesdays in Polish at the 7:00pm Novena and Mass. October is the month of the Rosary and everyone is encouraged to please make a special effort to recite the Rosary during this month. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT There will be no masses or novenas in Church Monday through Friday, October 10 thru October 14, as the Priests will be on retreat. Please pray the Novena privately. ATTENTION PARISH ENVELOPE USERS_ All Souls Day Remembrance envelopes can be found in your box of envelopes on October 9. The intentions will be prayed for during the Novena of All Souls beginning Nov. 2. These envelopes may be placed into any collection basket at any time until October 30. Additional envelopes are at the side entrance. On October 23 we mistakenly scheduled three collections – the regular collection, for utilities, and it is also World Mission Sunday. Therefore, the utilities collection will take place as the second collection on October 16. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation. Closed Fridays and Holidays. -The Office will be closed on Monday, Oct. 10 in observance of Columbus Day. -2017 Offertory Envelopes. The office will soon be preparing the boxes of 2017 offertory envelopes which will be available for pick-up at the back of the Church in November. Those who have used envelopes this year will automatically receive a box for next year.
