Respect Life
The Church opposes abortion, but embraces with
mercy those who have made this mistake. Let’s all take
encouragement from these words of Pope John Paul II: “I
would now like to say a special word to women who have
had an abortion. The Church is aware of the many factors
which may have influenced your decision, and she does
not doubt that in many cases it was a painful and even
shattering decision. The wound in your heart may not yet
have healed. Certainly what happened was and remains
terribly wrong. But do not give in to discouragement and
do not lose hope. Try rather to understand what happened
and face it honestly. If you have not already done so, give
yourselves over with humility and trust to repentance. The
Father of mercies is ready to give you his forgiveness and
his peace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. To the same
Father and to his mercy you can with sure hope entrust
your child.” (The Gospel of Life, #99).

Welcome Archbishop Blase J. Cupich!
Prayer for our Archbishop Blase J. Cupich
O God, eternal shepherd of the faithful,
who tend your Church in countless ways
and rule over her in love,
look with favor on your servant
Archbishop Blase Cupich.
Grant him, we pray,
a spirit of counsel and fortitude,
a spirit of knowledge and piety,
so that he may build up in the world the sacrament of the Church.
By word and example
may he be of service to those over whom he presides,
so that, together with the flock entrusted to his care,
he may come to eternal life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever. Amen

wrap. These can be dropped off at Stokes Center SUNDAYS NOV. 16, 23, 30, DEC. 7th. All these will be

sexual abuse every year.
Dear Parishioners of St. Francis Borgia,
"
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good
His love endures forever.
( Psalm107:1)
As a priest I was called to be Christ’s Ambassador to the world. My job is to be a joyful messenger of the
Gospel. I try my best to be joyful and thankful!
I thank God for the gift of life, gift of faith and gift of my priestly vocation. I’m thankful to God that my
military training starts in January, so I will celebrate Christmas with You and we will sing together my favorite song:
“Silent night, Holy night”…
I thank God for a beautiful birthday present - On November 4, 2014 I became US citizen!!! I will honor and
serve my new country and remember my roots and my heritage. If you were poor and by God's grace became rich- do
not forget the poor (according to the teaching of our Holy Father).
I’m thankful for You my Brothers and Sisters, Your congratulations and birthday wishes, Your kindness and
Your prayers that my dream to serve our Brothers and Sisters in the military as a Army Chaplain came true.
7 years ago on May 20th, 2007 I celebrated my first Holy Mass at St. Linus Church in Oak Lawn. Father Bill
Corcoran was more than my pastor; He was my teacher, mentor, and friend… for 5 years. He gave me roots to grow
and wings to fly!!! I’ll always be grateful to Him and all parishioners of St. Linus for their love and support!
St. Francis Borgia became my second home in July 2012. Father Richard is my mentor and teacher now. I thank
God for His pastoral care and love and His creative wisdom. May God bless our dear Pastor!!!
I thank God for Your presence in my life, Your love, Your support, Your prayers, Your warm smiles and kind words.
Together let us give thanks to the Lord for His love is without end!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!
God bless You!
Fr. Marcin Bulinski

Drodzy Bracia i Siostry, Parafianie St. Francis Borgia,
“Tyle dobrego zawdzieczam Tobie Panie, wszystko co mam,od Ciebie przeciez jest. Za kazdy dzien,za nocy
mrok, za radosc ma, szczesliwy rok, nawet za chmurne, deszczowe dni, za wszystko Panie dziekuje Ci.”
Jako kaplan zostalem powolany jako ambasador Chrystusa dla swiata. Moim zadaniem jest byc radosnym
glosicielem dobrej nowiny ujetej w slowach Ewangelii. Staram sie w miare moich sil jak najlepiej wypelniac to zadanie
z sercem pelnym radosci i wdziecznosci.
uroczystosc Bozego Narodzenia i spiewac nasze piekne, polskie koledy: “Pojdzmy wszyscy do stajenki,” “Cicha noc,
swieta noc “…
Dziekuje Bogu za piekny urodzinowy prezent - 4 listopada, 2014 roku zostalem obywatelem USA! Bede
szanowal moja nowa ojczyzne i sluzyl jej, zawsze pamietajac i szanujac moje polskie korzenie i bogate dziedzictwo.
7 lat temu-20 maja 2007 roku celebrowalem moja pierwsza Msze Swieta w kosciele St. Linus w Oak Lawn.
Rev. Bill Corcoran byl dla mnie kims wiecej niz proboszczem. Byl moim nauczycielem, ojcem, przewodnikiem i
przyjacielem przez 5 lat. To On dal mi korzenie do wzrostu i skrzydla do lotu. Jestem i bede Mu za to zawsze
wdzieczny.
przykladem i przewodnikiem.
szczycie dachu kosciola!!! Niech dobry Bog ma Go w swej opiece i obdarzy Go wszelkimi laskami!
Jeszcze raz dziekuje Bogu za Was Bracia i Siostry, za Wasza obecnosc w moim zyciu, za Wasza milosc, za
Wasze wsparcie, za Wasze modlitwy, za Wasze serdeczne usmiechy i cieple slowa.
Coz Ci Jezu damy za Twych lask strumienie?
Z serca Ci skladamy korne dziekczynienie…
ZYCZE WSZYSTKIM RADOSNYCH SWIAT DZIEKCZYNIENIA!!!
Niech Was Bog blogoslawi - Szczesc Boze
