INFORMATION FOR THE AUTHORS The conference organization committee is inviting all interested sides to send the papers (unpublished before) describing the most up-to-date research and solutions regarding the theme of the conference. The articles (in English), which will send before March 31, 2014 and receive the positive reviews, will be published in “Logistyka” journal. Selected articles sent in Polish or after the deadline, after receiving positive reviews, will be published in other publications, such as Zeszyty Naukowe, Transport series. The organization committee might not publish the papers that will not be presented in one of the panel sessions. Preparation of the articles: 1. All articles shall be saved as a Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc format). 2. All papers shall contain from 5 up to 10 pages. 3. File size (electronic version of the article) may not exceed 5 MB. 4. All authors are asked to use the template available for download from the conference website. 5. All articles shall be delivered in an electronic format on [email protected] by the March 31, 2014. Kazimierz Dąbała Students’ Scientific Circle „SIGNALIS” ] GOALS AND TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE The main goal of the conference is to show and discuss the issues in regard to the transport systems. The conference allows presenting the most up-to-date solutions in the field, evaluation of the current state and development perspectives for the transport systems within the urban areas, regions, countries and Europe. The papers will be presented by scientists, people on scientist and political duties, representatives of the business and transport fields of all kinds. Modern transport, as a main theme of the conference, will be considered in four areas as follows: modelling of transport systems, urban and regional transport, logistics and development of transport systems, transport systems within the European Union. Together with Conference will be held a Workshop titled Logistics for industry. The aim of the workshop is to determine the possibility of cooperation in field of safety development in logistics and internal transport in industrial plants. Participation in the workshop which will be held on the second day of conference, is free of charge. All details about the workshop are available on the website: www.logistykadlaprzemyslu.pl ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION To be accepted to participate in the conference and to have their article reviewed, one needs to fill out and send over the application form. The form is available for downloads from the conference website. This needs to be done either via post or email no later than March 21, 2014, and pay the conference fee no later than March 31, 2014.
