SPECIAL INVITATION TO FIRST COMMUNION
CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS
Next Sunday, May 5th, children are invited to
attend the 10:30 AM Mass in their First
Communion outfits and take part in the
Crowning of Mary’s statue at the Grotto. At
Mass, children will be seated together in the
front of the Church, and will process out as a
group. All children who attend will receive a
special remembrance of this occasion. Please
put this date on your calendar now.

PARISH OUTREACH
We will start off by thanking you for bringing us through the
winter with no food problems. We never ran out of the more
important products because once we got low on them -- and
told you -- you were quick to replenish our supply.
Now, we ask that you concentrate on the homeless that come
to us for assistance. Most of them have no means of heating
or storing food. For this reason, we are asking for the following
items:
Breakfast bars, Milk shakes, canned meats, canned tuna fish,
canned fruits and canned pasta and any hand-held food.
They can also use disposable razors.
Please keep in mind that anything in a can must have a snapoff top.
Thank you kindly; we always appreciate your support.

The lilies have all left the altars, the fragrance of incense
no longer fills the air, but we remain an “Easter People”,
a people of hope, joy, peace and resurrection. Your
attendance at daily Mass during Lent, your participation
in the Holy Week Triduum and your abundant financial
sacrifices demonstrated that the parishioners of Our
Lady of the Assumption are a vibrant, caring community
of believers. We do not doubt as Thomas did. Instead
we echo, “He is risen!”

truly blessed each day by your presence in our lives and

our members after the 10:30am Mass, as we process out to
the Shrine to crown our Blessed Mother. Let us all pay

Renovating Our Church, Auditorium,
School and Rectory
The Challenge Awaits Us
As outlined at all Masses by Fr. Dariusz, Our Lady
of the Assumption Parish is embarking on a
capital campaign to raise $550,000 to meet our
need of renovating and updating our Church,
Auditorium, School and Rectory buildings. After
many years of extensive use, our parish buildings
are wearing-out, inefficient and in desperate need
of repair. Our Renovation Campaign will allow
us to meet these important needs and prepare our
parish for the future.
Campaign Meetings set to Begin
All families will be invited to attend a campaign
presentation over the next few weeks. When you
receive your invitation, please RSVP as soon as
possible. In order for the entire parish to be
included, we have scheduled fifteen presentations
which will give you the opportunity to fully
understand what is being planned.
Your Support is a Vote of Confidence!
The challenge we face as a parish family is
obvious; the need is clear. Now is the time for Our
Lady of the Assumption to move forward with the
Renovation of our Church, Auditorium, School
and Rectory. We are meeting the challenge the
same way our parents and grandparents met the
challenge by establishing our parish and its
buildings which we use today. By our reponse to
this new challenge, we become an important part
of that heritage and lay the foundation on which
the future will be built.

Renovando Nuestra Iglesia, Auditorio,
Escuela y Rectoría
El Desafío Nos Aguarda
Como el Padre Dariusz lo señaló en todas las Misas,
nuestra parroquia está encaminándose en una campaña
de capital para recaudar $550,000 para cubrir nuestras
necesidades de renovar y mejorar los edificios de la
Iglesia, Auditorio, Escuela y Rectoría. Después de
muchos años de uso extenso nuestros edificios
parroquiales están gastados, ineficientes y en necesidad
desesperada de ser reparados. Nuestra Campaña de
Renovación nos permitirá cubrir estas necesidad
importantes y prepará nuestra parroquia para el futuro.
Las Reuniones de la Campaña están por
Comenzar
Todas las familias serán invitadas a asistir a una de las
reuniones de la campaña, que se realizarán dentro de
pocas semanas. Cuando usted reciba la invitación, por
favor responda tan pronto como sea posible. Con el fin
de que la parroquia completa sea incluída, hemos
programado quince reuniones.
¡Su apoyo es un Voto de Confianza!
El desafío que enfrentamos como familia parroquial es
obvio; la necesidad es clara. Ahora es el tiempo para
que Nuestra Señora de la Asunción siga adelante con la
Renovación de nuestra Iglesia, Auditorio, Escuela y
Rectoría. Estamos enfrentando el desafío en la misma
manera que nuestros padres y abuelos lo hicieron:
estableciendo nuestra parroquia y los edificios que
usamos ahora. Con la respuesta a este nuevo desafío,
nos convertimos en una parte importante de nuestra
herencia y trazamos las bases en las cuales el futuro será

Z BIURKA KSIĘDZA PROBOSZCZA…
Wszystkie lilie opuściły już ołtarze, zapach kadzidła już nie
unosi się w powietrzu, ale nadal pozostajemy “Ludźmi Wielkanocy”, ludźmi nadziei, radości, pokoju oraz zmartwychwstania. Państwa udział w codziennych Mszach św., w Triduum
Wielkiego Tygodnia oraz Państwa hojne ofiary finansowe,
ukazały, że parafianie naszej Parafii Matki Bożej Wniebowziętej
są aktywną oraz troszczącą się wspólnotą ludzi wierzących. Nie
wątpimy jak Tomasz. Zamiast tego powtarzamy: “Zmartwychwstał!”
Ksiądz Rolando, Diakon Phil, Diakon Mike i ja sam jesteśmy
obdarzani łaską każdego dnia przez Państwa obecność w
naszym życiu i naszej posłudze.

MAJOWE UKORONOWANIE - W następną niedzielę 5 maja
przypada Niedziela Ołtarza Różańcowego. Prosimy o przyłączenie się do naszych członków po Mszy św. o godz. 10:30
rano. Przejdziemy wówczas wspólnie w procesji do naszego
Sanktuarium, aby włożyć koronę na głowę Błogosławionej
Matki. Oddajmy cześć naszej Patronce, Matce Bożej Wniebowziętej za błogosławieństwa i łaski, które na nas zsyła. Bezpośrednio po zakończeniu ceremonii zapraszamy wszystkich na
poczęstunek do sali pod kościołem.
UROCZYSTOŚĆ NAJŚWIĘTSZEJ MARII PANNY KRÓLOWEJ POLSKI - W piątek 3 maja obchodzić będziemy
Uroczystość NMP Królowej Polski. Msza św. w języku
polskim w naszej parafii odprawiona zostanie tego dnia
w audytorium o godz. 19:30.
NABOŻEŃSTWO MAJOWE - W każdą niedzielę maja
na pół godziny przed Mszą św. wieczorną (o godz. 16:30)
odprawiane będzie w naszym kościele Nabożeństwo
Majowe w języku polskim.
Ponadto w dni powszednie wieczorami, o godz. 19:30,
gromadzimy się przy figurze Matki Bożej na zewnątrz
kościoła aby odmawiać Litanię Loretańską.

Parafialna Kampania Renowacyjna
“Nasza Parafia . . . Nasza Przyszłość”

~~ Informacje na temat Kampanii ~~
Renowacja naszego kościola,
audytorium, szkoły
oraz plebanii / biura parafialnego.
Czeka nas wyzwanie.
Zgodnie z tym, o czym podczas wszystkich Mszy św. mówił
Ks. Dariusz, rozpoczynamy w naszej Parafii Matki Bożej
Wniebowziętej kampanię mającą na celu zgromadzenie
kwoty w wysokości $550,000. Pieniędzy tych potrzebujemy
na ulepszenie i renowacje naszego kościoła, audytorium,
szkoły oraz innych budynków parafialnych. Po wieloletnim
okresie intensywnego użytkowania nasze budynki zużywają
się, są niewydajne i wymagają napraw i ulepszania. Nasza
Kampania Renowacyjna pozwoli nam w zaspokojeniu tych
niezbędnych potrzeb i przygotowaniu naszej parafii na
przyszłość.
Umawiane spotkania związane z kampanią- W
okresie najbliższych kilku tygodni wszystkie rodziny
zaproszone zostaną do wzięcia udziału w prezentacjach
związanych z kampanią. Prosimy o jak najszybsze potwierdzenie przez Państwa Waszego udziału w prezentacji (po
otrzymaniu przez Was zaproszenia). Zaplanowaliśmy piętnaście prezentacji, tak, aby wszyscy nasi parafianie mogli
wziąć w nich udział.
Państwa wsparcie jest wotum zaufania! –Wyzwanie, przed którym stanęliśmy jako rodzina parafialna jest
widoczne. Potrzeba jest jasna. Nadszedł czas dla naszej
Parafii Matki Bożej Wniebowziętej na kontynuowanie prac
renowacyjnych w kościele, audytorium, szkole oraz w
budynku plebanii/kancelarii parafialnej. Stoi przed nami
zadanie, podobnie jak przed naszymi rodzicami i dziadkami
stało zadanie założenia naszej parafii i zbudowania budynków, z których obecnie korzystamy. Poprzez naszą
odpowiedź na to nowe wyzwanie stajemy się ważną częścią
tego dziedzictwa i jednocześnie przygotowujemy podstawę,
na której zbudowana zostanie przyszłość.
DRUGA KOLEKTA - W następny weekend 4-5 maja prze-
prowadzimy drugą kolektę na KATOLICKIE SZKOŁY PODSTAWOWE. Dzięki Państwa hojności nasze szkoły będą nadal mogły pomagać naszym dzieciom wzrastać mądrości, sile
i intelekcie.
