Copenhagen, Dortmund, Dublin, East Midlands, Liverpool, London, Oslo and Tel Aviv. The flights are operated by
three airlines: Ryanair, Wizzair and Israir. All necessary details can be found on the airport's website
http://airport.lodz.pl/en .
If you fly to Warsaw, it is best to travel to Łódź by train. The journey will take you approximately 2 hours. To take a
train, you will need to transfer from Okęcie Airport to Warszawa Centralna station (app. 30 minutes). You can take a
taxi or a bus to get there. The best taxi company which services the airport and the station is ELA Taxi (22 8111 111);

taxi by card or with Polish Złoty and the fare should not exceed 50 PLN (ap. 12Euro). If you have more time and want
to experience Warsaw public transport, you can take a bus – No 175 takes you directly to Warszawa Centralna
railway station (in app. 40 minutes). You will need a ticket which you buy in a kiosk in the arrival hall (ask for single
fare ticket – bilet na jeden przejazd), the price is about 3 PLN (about 90 cents).
Travelling by rail:
Trains from Warsaw to Łódź are operated by Polish National Railways (PKP). For the current timetables, please go to

As there are two companies which service this route, it is best to buy your ticket on arrival, when you know which
train you will take. You can purchase your ticket at Warszawa Centralna railway station, from where trains to Łódź
depart approximately every hour. Tickets can be bought at the offices which are situated in the main hall as well as
in the underground section. Please ask for ticket to Łódź Widzew (bilet do stacji Łódź Widzew), and the prices ranges
from 30 to 45 zloty (8-10 Euro).
Please notice that due the re-building of the main station in Łódź, it is best if you get off at Łódź Widzew (previous
stop- Koluszki, next one – Łódź Kaliska, if you miss Łódź Widzew, get off at Łódź Kaliska and take a taxi).
Once in Łódź, it is best to take a taxi to get to the conference centre (the 10-minute journey from Łódź Widzew
Station should cost around PLN 20 - approximately €5). Please notice that you may have problems paying with a card
– it is best to have some Polish currency at this point. Taxi ranks outside the station are safe places to take the taxi –
please make sure that the taxi has an official TAXI sign. You can also take the bus No 85A, which goes from Łódź
Widzew station directly to Kopcińskiego street, to reach the conference centre you need to get off at KopcińskiegoNarutowicza stop and walk straight ahead along Kopcińskiego street for approximately 5 minutes.
