World Day for Consecrated Life reminds us all of this
viable and joy-filled vocation in the Church. Please
pray for all those who have made commitments in the
consecrated life and for vocations to The Congregation
of the Resurrection and the many other communities in

Preparation for First Holy Communion
On Tuesday, February 9th at 6:00 P.M. in Rectory.

Universal day of fasting and abstinence from meat.
Fasting among Christians is a penitential discipline
intended to open our hearts to God and others, a means
of purification and spiritual liberation, a witness of the
depth of our faith. The law of abstinence from meat
binds those who are 14 and older; the law of fasting
binds those from 18 to 59 years of age.
Masses are:

7:00 PM – in Polish
Ashes will be distributed on:
Ash Wednesday February 10th, Saturday February 13th
after 5:00 pm Mass, Sunday February 14th after 8:30
and 10:00 am Masses and 15 min. before 11:30 am

World Day of The Sick, February 11th
“Stand up and go; your faith has saved you” (Lk 17:19)
The ministry of Jesus to the sick is central to the life of
the Church. Each year this observance occurs on
February11th, the Memorial of our Lady of Lourdes.
This day highlights the healing ministry of the Church.
It reminds us that service to the sick and suffering
cannot be neglected. It recognizes the great efforts of
health care professionals and pastoral care givers to
restore health to those afflicted with illness and
disease.

Środa Popielcowa – 10 luty
W Środę Popielcową rozpoczynamy
Wielki Post – czas pokuty, modlitwy,
umartwienia i przygotowania do
Świąt Zmartwychwstania Pańskiego. W tym dniu
obowiązuje post ścisły, to znaczy post jakościowyniespożywanie pokarmów mięsnych, i ilościowy –
jeden posiłek do syta, dwa pozostałe – to lekkie
posiłki. Post ścisły obowiązuje wszystkich wiernych
od 18 do 60 roku życia. Obrzęd posypywania głów
popiołem w Środę Popielcową i w Pierwszą Niedzielę
Wielkiego Postu po zakończonej Eucharystii. Wyjątek
stanowić będzie Msza św. o godz. 11:30, gdy
przyjmiemy popiół 15 minut przed Mszą św.

„Wstań, idź, twoja wiara cię uzdrowiła”(Łk 17, 19)
Światowy Dzień Chorych obchodzimy 11 lutego, w
dzień wspomnienia Matki Bożej z Lourdes.
Celebrując Dzień Chorych wspólnota parafialna
okazuje czynną miłość względem tym, którzy cierpią z
powodu choroby lub podeszłego wieku, a także
umożliwia chorym wspólną modlitwę w jedności z
Kościołem na całym świecie. Jednocześnie jest to dla
nas czas modlitwy za wszystkich, którzy niosą chorym
pomoc doczesną.

Zaświadczenia podatkowe
za ofiary złożone w 2015 r. są do odbioru
w sali parafialnej. W naszym kościele jak i w wielu
parafiach Diecezji Hamilton zaświadczenia do
rozliczenia podatkowego są wystawiane na sumę
powyżej $ 50.00. Osoby, które złożyły ofiarę poniżej
tej kwoty, a pragną otrzymać pokwitowanie, proszone
są o osobisty kontakt z kancelarią parafialną.
Składamy serdeczne ‘’Bóg Zapłać’’ wszystkim, którzy
finansowo wspierają naszą parafię.

GORZKIE ŻALE – w okresie Wielkiego Postu
bezpośrednio po Mszy św. o godz. 11:30.
„Zachęcam do udziału w Gorzkich żalach, które przez
rozważania Męki Pańskiej zbliżają nas do Jezusa
Chrystusa, naszego Pana i Zbawiciela. Ja również w
każdą niedzielę śpiewam z domownikami Gorzkie
żale”. (św. Jan Paweł II)
