Please note
We are now accepting Mass intentions for 2015. Please
remember, that in our parish we have registered over
800 families. Each weekend we have 2 Masses in
English and 2 Masses in Polish. Since there are 52-53
weekends a year, it is easy to see, that, to be fair to
everybody, each family can only request 3 Masses: 1 on
Saturday or Sunday and 2 during a week. The
exceptions are funeral Masses, which are added to the
multiple intentions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Please come to the office as soon as possible as the
dates are filling fast and the intentions are not accepted
over the phone. We are also accepting reservations for
our parish hall for next year on a first come first served
basis.

Annual Diocesan Missionary Co-operative Plan
This weekend we welcome to our parish Fr. Andrew
Obel from the Archdiocese of Tororo in Uganda. He
will be speaking at all Masses asking for your financial
help. You can find special envelopes at both entrances
to the Church. Write your name or envelope number
and place it in the Collection Plate. The money
collected will be sent to the Missionary Co-operative
Plan of the Hamilton Diocese for distribution. Thank
you for your generosity.
CWL Rummage Sale
St. Joseph’s Catholic Women’s League will be holding
a rummage sale of good, reusable items on Saturday,
September 27th. They would appreciate donations for it
to be dropped off in the parish hall on Friday,
September 26th from 9:00am to 7:00pm. (Sorry, no
large furniture or heavy items). Please help the CWL
raise needed funds while you turn your unwanted items
into someone else’s treasure.

Catechetical Correspondence Courses
Programs available for children from Kindergarten
through to High School not currently receiving
religious instruction. Preparation for First Communion
and Confirmation for children not in Catholic Schools
also available. Families work through the programs at

14 września 2014 r. – Święto Podwyższenia Krzyża Św.
13th Annual Diocesan Vocations Mass
Sunday, September 21st at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony
Daniel Parish in Kitchener. Please join us, along with
Bishop Crosby and Bishop Miehm, at the Mass of
prayer and thanksgiving for the gift of vocations to the
priesthood and religious life in our diocese. This joyful
celebration of faith is being hosted by the Catholic
Women’s League, Knights of Columbus, Serra Clubs,
and the Vocation Office of the Diocese of Hamilton.
Light refreshments and vocational materials will be
available following the celebration of the Eucharist. All
are welcome!

40 Days Mass with Bishop Douglas Crosby
Bishop Douglas Crosby invites all parishioners to join
him for a pro-life Mass at St. Patrick Parish in
Burlington on Wednesday, September 24th at 7 pm.
The Mass will serve as a kick-off to the 40 Days for
Life campaign in Oakville. This is a great opportunity
to unite in prayer with the Bishop for the cause of life.

Intencje mszalne na rok 2015
Rozpoczęliśmy przyjmowanie intencji mszalnych na
rok 2015. Musimy pamiętać, iż w naszej parafii
zarejestrowanych jest ponad 800 rodzin. Ponieważ w
Dzień Pański odprawiamy dwie Msze św. w języku
polskim i angielskim, a w ciągu roku wypada 52-53
niedziele, łatwo jest obliczyć, że na przełomie roku
sprawujemy około 110 Mszy św. w tych dwóch
językach. W trosce o dobro wszystkich rodzin naszej
parafii, aby mogły sprawować Eucharystię w swoich
własnych intencjach, poszczególna rodzina może
zamówić tylko trzy Msze św. w roku: jedną w niedzielę
i dwie w tygodniu. Wyjątek stanowią Msze św.
pogrzebowe, które z reguły dołączane są do Mszy św.
zbiorowych we wtorki i środy. Przypominamy, że
intencje mszalne zamawiać można tylko osobiście (nie
przez telefon) w Kancelarii parafialnej w godzinach
urzędowania. Można również rezerwować salę
parafialną na przyszły rok.

„Rummage Sale”
Katolicka Liga Kobiet organizuje doroczny „Rummage
Sale” w sobotę 27 września. Nowe lub mało używane
rzeczy moża przynosić do sali parafialnej w piątek 26
września w godz. od 9:00 rano do 7:00 wieczorem.
Zachęcamy jak najwięcej wiernych, aby licznie poparli
tę incjatywę członkiń Katolickiej Ligii Kobiet.
Wystrój kościoła, udekorowane ołtarze i atmosfera
modlitewna znacząco wpływają na przeżywanie Liturgii
w Domu Bożym. Celebrując różne sakramenty w naszej
świątyni często nasz wzrok kierujemy na tabernakulum i
ołtarz. Radujemy się widząc prezbiterium świątyni
udekorowane ślicznymi kwiatami. W imieniu całej
Rodziny Parafialnej pragnę podziękować wszystkim tym,
którzy przystrajali w okresie letnim nasze ołtarze

Polonii poprzez pracę w szerzeniu kultury i oświaty
wśród polskiej grupy etnicznej w Kanadzie. Fundacja
