Ultrawytrzymałe stale maraging i nanostrukturalne stale bainityczne nowej generacji

Abstract: Against a background of state of the art developments in the research on the ultrahigh
strength structural steel results of investigations carried out at Instytut Metalurgii Żelaza concerning
high alloyed dispersion hardened maraging steel and medium alloyed nanostructured bainitic steel
are presented. At IMŻ research directed at development of chemical composition and manufacturing
technology of ultrahigh strength structural steels having reasonably good ductility indicators is going
on. The aim of the work is to develop a new grade of maraging steel having yield strength above 2,7
GPa and a bainitic high carbon steel with nanolath structure having yield strength above 1,8 GPa.
