HOW TO GET THERE
The best way to get to Toruń from the Warsaw Chopin Airport is by train.
Available connections can be found on the PKP website. The starting station is
WARSZAWA LOT. CHOPINA, and the destination is TORUŃ GŁÓWNY. A
transit has to be made at WARSZAWA ZACHODNIA. The whole journey
takes about 2.5 -3 hours. Note that the ticket for the intercity train between
WARSZAWA ZACHODNIA and TORUŃ GŁÓWNY can be purchased on the
PKP website, but the ticket for the local train connecting WARSZAWA LOT.
CHOPINA and WARSZAWA ZACHODNIA has to be bought either from a
convenient store in the Airport, or through the machines available on the train
(coins are needed for this case).
HINT: Please avoid changing money at the airport, since they have really bad
exchange rates. It is better to use banking machines to get Polish zlotys.
TORUŃ GŁÓWNY is the main railway station in Toruń. Please use bus No. 27
or 22 to travel to the city centre (i.e., the Old Town). The bus stop closest to the
Old Town, where the colloquium will be held, is Plac Rapackiego. It is about
500 metres of walking distance from the Old Town. Please see the attached

Zeglarska 12. Single bus ticket cost 2.8 PLN and may be purchased at the
"Relay" store inside the TORUŃ GŁÓWNY station.
HINT: You can also take taxi to the colloquium venue. If you will take taxi, the
RECOMMENDED ones are those with numbers 1-9191, 1-9192, …, or 1-9199.
The cost is about 20 PLN. If you take the NOT RECOMMENDED taxi (all
other numbers especially with 1 replaced by 7!), it will cost much more.
