We are preparing for the 2013-2014 Religious Education school year and the registration process is already underway. At
this time, you should be aware of the following:
•
Classes for the upcoming year will begin on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.
•
Religious Ed registration (and re-registration) will be conducted onTuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
from July 16 through September 19. Hours for August (13th to 29th) will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays,
and Thursdays, from 2:00PM to 7:00PM. September hours will be announced at Mass and published in
the Church Bulletin.
•
All registration (and re-registration) must be done in person. You will complete a standard form for
our records. There will be NO registration by mail this year.
•
If you are NOT a member of this parish, you must bring proof of membership at another parish; this is
usually in the form of a church offering envelope, which has your name and number printed on it.
•
Registration Tuition Fee:
Individual (1 child) $120
Family (2 or more children) $150
•
Fees must be paid by check or in cash when you come in to register. There will be no refund of the fees
once classes have begun.
If you are registering for the first time:

Please bring your child’s Baptismal Certificate so we can make a copy for our records. This is
necessary even if your child was baptized at OLA. (If your child has never been baptized, please bring the
Birth Certificate.)

If your child has already received First Communion, please bring the First Communion
Certificate (or other documentation) showing this.

Las clases para el año venidero comenzarán el Martes 1 de Octubre, 2013.

Las matrículas por primera vez (y matrícula contínua) serán efectuadas los días Martes, Miércoles y
Jueves, a partir del 16 de Julio hasta el 19 de Septiembre. Del 13 al 29 de AGOSTO se atenderá
Martes, Miércoles y Jueves, de 2:00PM a 7:00PM. El horario para el mes de Septiembre será publicado
en el boletín y anunciado durante la Misa.

Toda matrícula por primera vez (y matrícula contínua) debe ser hecha en persona. Usted debe completar un formulario para nuestros registros. No habrá matrículas por correo durante este año.
•
Si usted NO es miembro de esta parroquia usted debe traer prueba de su membresía en otra parroquia;
esto es usualmente el sobre para la ofrenda dominical, el cual tiene impreso su nombre, dirección y número
de registro.

Przygotowujemy się obecnie do rozpoczęcia nowego roku szkolnego (nauki religii) 2013-2014 i w związku z tym prosimy
Państwa o zapoznanie sie z następujacymi informacjami :
1. Lekcje religii rozpoczną się we WTOREK 1-ego PAŹDZIERNIKA 2013 r.
2. Prowadzimy obecnie zapisy wszystkich uczniów na lekcje religii. Zapisy trwać będą DO 19 WRZEŚNIA. Biuro Edukacji
Religijnej będzie czynne w sierpniu (od 13 do 29 sierpnia) w godz. od 2:00 po południu do 7:00 wieczorem. Godziny
otwarcia biura we wrześniu zostaną podane podczas Mszy św. oraz w Biuletynie Parafialnym. Wszystkie zapisy uczniów
nowych (oraz zapisy ponowne) muszą być dokonywane osobiście. Należy wypełnić standardową formę. W tym roku NIE
prowadzimy zapisów drogą pocztową.
4. Jeżeli NIE są Państwo zapisani do naszej parafii, to powinni Państwo przynieść zaświadczenie o swojej przynależności do
innej parafii. Może to być np. koperta używana do składki z wydrukowaną nazwą parafii oraz z Państwa nazwiskiem, adresem
oraz numerem ewidencyjnym.
5. Opłata wynosi:
indywidualna ( jedno dziecko) - $ 120.
rodzina (dwoje i wiecej dzieci) - $ 150.
Opłaty należy uiścić w trakcie dokonywania zapisów. AKCEPTUJEMY CZEKI LUB GOTÓWKĘ. Jednocześnie informujemy, że po
rozpoczęciu roku szkolnego nie zwracamy opłat !!!!
W przypadku zapisów uczniów nowych (zapisywanych po raz pierwszy):
** Prosimy Państwa o przyniesienie ze sobą METRYKI CHRZTU DZIECKA (nawet jeśli dziecko było ochrzczone w naszej parafii),
abyśmy mogli zrobić jej kopię. Jeśli dziecko nie było jeszcze ochrzczone, prosimy o przyniesienie jego Aktu Urodzenia.
** Jeżeli dziecko przyjęło już sakrament Eucharystii (Pierwsza Komunia Św.), to wówczas prosimy o przyniesienie
zaświadczenia potwierdzajacego przyjęcie tego sakramentu.

“WHEN CHRIST YOUR LIFE APPEARS,
THEN YOU TOO WILL APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY.”
All three of our readings this week stress the importance of looking beyond this life to our eternal life with God in heaven. We do not like to think of our death, and so we try to put it out of our minds. But every so often death touches our family, or we attend the funeral of a friend. As organist, I am in the unique position of attending all of the funerals in our parish. I see the grief of the families, and I and the singer are always united with them in prayer. We choose our songs to reinforce the truth that Christ is Risen and that their loved one is now safe with God. In the Easter Liturgy, we hear that “Christ has conquered death”. I never understood that phrase, since we all still die . . . until I realized that we, too, conquer death when we look forward to meeting Christ and being reunited to our loved ones. If we are living looking forward to this reunion, death does “lose its sting”. While the first reading and the Gospel talk of the vanity of earthly possessions, St. Paul tells us to “Think of what is above, not what is on earth. . . . When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.” Let us continue our efforts to bring Jesus’ name to the ends of the earth. I heard another wonderful story this week of a caring letter being an instrument of bringing Christ back to a relative. Keep up the Good Work! Agnes Scheuermann
