THE PRESTIGIOUS “RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS AWARDS” WILL BE GRANTED IN WARSAW FOR THE SECOND
TIME ON OCTOBER 14. THIS YEAR’S RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS SUMMIT WILL PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A
DEBATE ON THE INVOLVEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURS IN PRO-COMMUNITY ACTIONS AND THEIR INFLUENCE
ON THE FUNCTIONING OF THE DOMESTIC ECONOMY.
The 2nd edition of “Responsible Business Summit & Awards Gala”
will take place on 14 October 2016 at the Sofitel Victoria hotel
in Warsaw. The inauguration of the event, which took place
last year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Executive Cub, raised a
lot of interest and greatly contributed to the popularization of the
notion of responsible business among entrepreneurs. The Partners of
this year’s edition include Pfizer, PayU, Raiffeisen Bank,
T-mobile, and Xerox Polska, while the Social Partners, among others,
are Unicef Poland, Stowarzyszenie Siemacha, Stowarzyszenie SOS Wioski Dziecięce, Stowarzyszenie Wiosna,
and Polska Akcja Humanitarna.
Special guests include Janina Ochojska, founder and president of Polish Humanitarian Auction and Kamil
Wyszkowski and Kamil Wyszkowski - General Director of the initiative of the Secretary General of the UN
Global Compact in Poland
The subjects undertaken this year will include the activities of socially involved companies, forms of employee
activation, assessment of the disproportions between European economies, environmental protection and
sustainable development, as well as responsible investing. The conference will culminate in a prestigious
“Responsible Business Awards” gala, which will emphasize the involvement of entrepreneurs in procommunity actions and show the influence of business on the well-being of the entire society. During the
ceremony, we will award companies, non-profit organizations, and philanthropists with outstanding social and
charity achievements.
