Advice for travellers
Hi Sabine!
I’m arriving in Amsterdam at half past nine next Friday
morning. I’m very excited. How should I get from the
train station to your flat? Is there a bus? What are we
going to do? I saw the city on a web page. It looks
really nice. I’d like to go on a boat too!
See you soon,
Gavin
Dear Gavin,
PS Should I bring any special clothes?
Will the weather be good?
Thanks for the email. I’m excited about your visit too!
I’ll meet you at the train station so don’t worry. We can
walk to my flat. We can also get a taxi if your bags are
heavy. It isn’t far. We’ll go on a boat trip on the canal
on Saturday and we’ll go to the Van Gogh museum too.
I know you like his paintings. You must bring warm
clothes because it’s a bit cold here. You should also
bring comfortable shoes, but you don’t need anything
special.
See you on Friday!
Sabine
