Stewardship Note: “He instructed them to take nothing for
the journey but a walking stick—no food, no sack, no money in
their belts.” (Mark 6:8) How different we are from the Apostles
who took nothing when they ventured out to serve God. Today,
we make our journey through life more difficult because of all
the material baggage that we drag along. Yet, the more we can
let go of, the freer we are to serve God with love and joy.
FIFTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
July 12, 2015
Truth shall spring out of the earth and justice shall look
down from heaven.
- Psalm 85:12
SENT DOWN BY GOD
In Amos’ time the vocation of prophet had
achieved a very formal status in Israel. The
prophets had arisen, originally, to act as
God’s voice when Israel was no longer led
by the spiritual/civil figures known as
“judges,” but by monarchs. Over time, the
monarchy had appropriated the offices of
priest and prophet, established them into companies and reserved the right to appoint courtly prophets. Then, as now,
when those in power also got to choose who would act as their
official conscience, things sometimes went awry. At such
times, God raised up prophets from unlikely places and this is
how Amos received his vocation as prophet. In last week’s
Gospel we heard how Jesus was raised up as God’s anointed
from a place many viewed as unlikely. As we continue to discern our own vocation as baptized disciples, we can be assured
that we are, in Paul’s words, “chosen, destined in accord with
the purpose of the One who accomplishes all things according
to the intention of his will”.

CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION
On Monday, July 13th at 7:00pm we will pray the rosary
during an outdoor procession in honor of Our Lady of Fatima.
As always, we invite parishioners, friends, organizations and
especially the Children of Mary to take part in this beautiful
tribute to Our Lady.
The great holiness and intercessory power of the Immaculate
Heart of Mary is the key to salvation for many souls who would
otherwise be lost. So many souls are being lost today, not
knowing how easy it is to gain Heaven with Our Lady’s help
and how necessary it is for salvation to exercise devotion to Our
Lady.
The flowers in front of the Blessed Mother altar for Our
Lady of Fatima are given in memory of George and Cora
LaRochelle from daughter, Sylvia Kitka and family .

NOVENA AND DEVOTION TO ST. JOSEPH
Pope Pius IX proclaimed Saint Joseph the Patron of the Universal Church, the unofficial patron against doubt and hesitation, as well as the patron saint of fighting communism and of a
happy death. We are privileged to have our Basilica named in
honor of St. Joseph and we should take advantage of this opportunity and participate in this weekly novena and devotion that
we may adopt his admirable qualities of patience and persistence into our own lives.
We invite parishioners and friends to join us on Wednesday,
July 15th at 7:00pm to pray to our patron for needed graces for
ourselves and our families.
Please note your intentions (legibly) on the petition slips
available in the Chapel of Our Lady of Czestochowa to be read
during the Novena. Our Lectors will have the honor of carrying
the statue of St. Joseph into the Sanctuary.
We appreciate your offerings.
ST. ANNE SOCIETY - is continuing their Annual Membership Drive. The membership of this society pledges to serve
God and to participate in the mission of the Church by taking

STEWARDSHIP
A life of sharing and giving has been part of Christian tradition for centuries, in fact it has Scriptural roots. Wealth and
possessions can blind us to the eternal truth that whatever we
have is received from God. If a man looks on his possessions as
given to him for nothing but his own comfort and convenience,
they are a chain which must be broken; if he looks on his possessions as a means to helping others, they are his crown.
Gołabki Sale - frozen packages of 5 gołabki for $10 will be
available in the school cafeteria after 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday, July 11th and after 7:00 am and 9:00 am Masses on Sunday, July 12th.

NATIONAL DAY OF ST. JOHN PAUL II
On Saturday, October 17th, there will be a national celebration of St. John Paul II at his Shrine, and former JPII Cultural

films portray John Paul II in a captivating manner. The visitor
is overwhelmed and caught up in the middle of events which
made an impact on the life and ministry of one of the greatest
spiritual leaders of the world.
The JPII Foundation of New England is sponsoring a 3 day
bus trip to Washington, DC from October 16 - 18, 2015 to
participate in this joyful occasion. The detailed itinerary will be
forthcoming in the upcoming bulletins. If you are interested,

St. Vincent de Paul Message
15th Sunday in Ordinary Time
In the Gospel today we see how Jesus sent his Apostles out
two by two. From the beginning of the Society of St. Vincent
de Paul, members visit in pairs “two by two”, those who are
poor and needy in their homes. It is there, in the family setting,
that Vincentians listen, offer humble advice and render
assistance. Have you considered answering the call to help
serve the poor by joining the Society of St. Vincent de Paul?

KRONIKA PARAFIALNA
PIĘTNASTA NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA
12 lipca 2015
„Wierność z ziemi wyrośnie,
a sprawiedliwość wychyli się z nieba.” (Ps 85, 12)
Niepojęta jest wielkość daru, jakim
zostaliśmy obdarowani. Sam Bóg wybrał nas
i powołał, byśmy stali się świadkami Jego
miłości. On pierwszy nas ukochał i pragnie,
by każdy człowiek przyjął tę miłość i na nią
różańcowej i procesji ku czci Matki Bożej Fatimskiej. Jak
zawsze do wspólnej modlitwy zapraszamy wszystkich parafian,
przyjaciół, organizacje parafialne, a szczególnie Dzieci Maryi
i ministrantów.
Świętość i niezwykła moc wstawiennicza Najświętszego
pomocą w drodze do zbawienia. Nie zaniedbujmy więc okazji
do skorzystania z pomocy Naszej Matki i Królowej.

NOWENNA DO ŚW. JÓZEFA
Papież Pius IX ogłosił św. Józefa patronem Kościoła
Powszechnego. Jest on również nieoficjalnym patronem
w walce ze zwątpieniami, wspomożycielem w walce
z komunizmem oraz patronem dobrej śmierci. W naszej parafii
Józefa a zatem powinniśmy wykorzystać
tę okoliczność i w czasie nabożeństwa i Nowenny czerpać
19:00. W tym tygodniu w procesji z figurą św. Józefa idą
lektorzy. Prosimy o czytelne wypisywanie intencji.

własnej parafii.
St. Anne Society bierze w opiekę nowo ochrzczone dzieci
wszystkie kobiety, a w szczególności młode matki i babcie.
