Natural disasters come in many shapes and sizes. Most are related to the weather but some are geological. In order to be prepared you have to know about different types of disasters. Zadanie/Task Research different types of natural disasters, find out information about recent disasters in Poland and mark out affected areas on the map. Choose one of the disasters which would most likely affect your local area and project a leaflet informing local dwellers about precautionary measures to be taken before the disaster hits. Finally, make a multimedia presentation using all the materials. GOOD LUCK! Make a list of precautionary measures to be taken before the disaster hits 2. Create a leaflet informing local dwellers about the disaster. Your leaflet should include a) an explanation of the disaster b) a forecast of the impending dangers – for example, quick melting of snow causes flooding c) 1. Study the tasks for other groups 2. Plan your presentation (coherent graphics layout and colour scheme, links) 3. Contact other groups to know the results of their work 4. Correct the mistakes if there are any 5.
