invite you to the international scientific conference
“Slavic Terminology: Today and Tomorrow”
25-26 May 2017, Warsaw, Poland
The 2017 conference is the third gathering (first in Poland) where
participants can share their terminology science experiences in relation to
Slavic languages. The objective is to review current work and discuss major
research problems in terminology.
This time our focus is on the following themes:
- descriptions of terminological data bases and data update methods;
- terminological policies;
- terminological planning; and
- ethical problems in terminology research.

Conference overview:
 Presentation proposals (15 minutes) should be submitted by 28
February 2017 to: [email protected]. A proposal should include
the name and surname of the participant, his/her affiliation and e-mail
address as well as the title of the presentation and an abstract of approx.
700 characters, including spaces.
 Declarations of passive participation in the conference (without a
presentation) should be submitted to: [email protected] by 31
March 2017.
 All Slavic languages are the working languages of the Conference.
 Conference fee (to cover organisation costs and preliminary
preparation of submitted conference papers for publication): EUR 55 //
PLN 250.00. Participants who do not present a paper do not pay the
conference fee.
 We intend to publish the conference proceedings as a book.
