Metzler was founded in 1898 by Kazimierz Metzler, as a one of the few
Polish companies in the region. The company dealt primarilywith
sawing construction wood. Metzler has also prosper well as a house
builder. Company survived World War I, as well as the global
economic crisis in 1929-1932. However, the toughest test of the
company was World War II. After the war successor takes up the son
of Kazimierz - Edmund Metzler, who fought all his life against post-war
communist regime for the company. As used in this time called
