My nie czekalismy! Wykorzystaliśmy czas i szansę i na fali zmian w prawie oświatowym
dokonaliśmy zmiany naszych podręczników. Zmiany, zapewniającej kompatybilność naszych
podręczników z obowiązującym prawem, ale i trendami w metodyce. Zadbaliśmy, by nasze wieloletnie
podręczniki zachowały wszystkie dotychczasowe walory, by praca z nimi była przyjemna, tok lekcji
wartki, a ćwiczenia sprzyjające uczeniu się naszych uczniów. Przekonamy Cię o tym podczas sesji, na
której zostaną poruszone zostaną następujące zagadnienia:

wyboru

Learner-centred teaching? Yes, but what about my teaching
style?

Learning styles have been a focus of a long, interesting and very informative debate within the teaching
profession. But how often do we consider the issue of our teaching styles? We also know that in order
to use teaching materials to their full potential we need to feel comfortable with them. This means
being aware of what your teaching style is, as well as finding materials which not only take the students'
learning styles into account, but match your teaching style as well.
In this session we will look at what styles and approaches teachers use in their work and how
awareness of your own style can help choose materials (bearing non-consumable course books =
podręczniki wieloletnie in mind) which are not only most suitable for your learners, but for you as well.

Making up for the missing bits: Ideas for teaching lower-primary learners

Recently, teaching children aged 6-9 has become more demanding and challenging than ever before.
Following the new ministry requirements to convert the existing course books into the non-consumable
ones (podręczniki wieloletnie), our classroom resources have become stripped of the elements
that often kept the children busy, motivated and engaged, and most importantly, that resembled
the natural learning context, typical of outside-of-the-classroom activities. During the session, we will
take a closer look at what has been removed from our repertoire of task types, what has remained, and
what bearing this will have on our day-to-day classroom practices. We will also suggest ways of
making up for the missing bits by demonstrating a number of practical activities that make use of
flashcards, storycards or karty pracy, and also evergreen pen-and-paper exercises.
