MC SERIES
APLICATION
MC Series Manometers, are electronic transducers with digital display used to measure relative (gage) and
absolute pressure of liquids, vapors and gases, both aggressive and chemical neutral. The ranges are from
0,1 to 1000 bar. Transducers of this kind are used instead of traditional manometers.

CONSTRUCTION
Digital manometers series MC are composed of two parts:
a).measure head placed in stainless steel enclosure
b).electronic part.
The high quality piezoresistive silicone sensor in the measure-head is a measuring element with resistors
arranged as Wheatstone bridge. The electronic part of MC series transducers consists of two chambers: the
first with signal processing board and the second with a battery. Manometer has also a module which
switches on and off the power supply.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Measured pressure acts trough separating diaphragm and silicone oil on sensor, which results in changing of
the bridge’s resistance. Output voltage appears on bridge’s output with value proportional to measured
pressure. Electronic board, besides supplying the Wheatstone bridge, converts this voltage to a signal,
which value is shown on LCD display.

NOTICE
1. There is possible to make special manometers to other application fe: oxygen, chlorine , special pressure
connection and so on.
2. While ordering, it is recommended to mention about kind and temperature of medium and also
about ambient temperature like in the example above.
