TWIERDZENIA Czasownik ‘BYĆ’ ‘to be’ w czasie PAST SIMPLE (czas przeszły prosty) Czasownik ‘MIEĆ’ ‘have got’ w czasie PAST SIMPLE (czas przeszły prosty) nie dodajemy słówka got! Was it ...? – Czy to było...? Were we...? – Czy my byliśmy…? Were you…? – Czy wy byliście…? Were they…? – Czy oni/one były…? Aby stworzyć pytanie potrzebny jest nam operator DID oraz BEZOKOLICZNIK (tak jak w przypadku ‘pozostałych czasowników’) Przeczenia tworzymy za pomocą słówka DIDN’T (=DID NOT) oraz bezokolicznika (taka sama zasada jak w przypadku ‘pozostałych czasowników’) Did you have a good time at the party? – Czy dobrze bawiłeś się na przyjęciu? She didn’t have a cat. We didn’t have money. How many guests did you have you yesterday? – Ilu gości miałeś wczoraj? Zachowuje się on jak ‘pozostałe czasowniki’.
