1.1.
Woman: I hope that you remember about the trip to the aqua park tomorrow. We’re meeting
in front of the school at 8 a.m. Don’t be late because you will have only 15 minutes for packing
all your things to the coach and then we’re starting the ride. If you come earlier you can wait in
the school – the front door will be open from 7.15.
1.2.
Bianca: John! How was your holiday?
John: Hi Bianca! Oh, it was great.
Bianca: Where did you go? I was at the seaside with my parents, as usual.
John: Well, my parents wanted to spend some time at the lake, because we have a small wooden
cabin there. But then our friends called and invited us to the mountains.
1.3.
Girl: Wow, it looks great! But how do you turn it on?
Boy: See this button? You have to press it. Then you’ll see a light.
Girl: OK. There’s a light.
Boy: Now let’s put the bread inside and wait until it’s ready.
Girl: OK. But you know? I think we should move it near the coffee machine.
Boy: Yeah, you’re right. Let me bring some butter and jam.
1.4.
Boy: This film was so boring!
Girl: We should go somewhere else next weekend. How about a concert?
Boy: It’s even louder than the cinema. I think we should go bowling.
Girl: OK. Let’s go to that new bowling alley opposite the cinema.
1.5.
Henry: Mum, it’s Henry. You won’t believe it but the new headphones that you gave me yesterday
don’t work! My friend suggested going to the shop and trying to return them. Find some time
to go with me, please! Can you meet me after school? Bring the receipt if you can.

Zadanie 2.
Girl: So, Tim, how is your new house? Have you and your parents already moved in?
Boy: Yes, we moved in last Saturday.
Girl: And what does your room look like?
Boy: Well, it’s quite big and the walls are light yellow.
Girl: But you don’t like yellow!
Boy: Yes, I really wanted my room to be blue but my parents painted the living room light blue
because the open kitchen is dark blue.
Girl: My kitchen is white.
Boy: Oh, my father also wanted the kitchen to be white. But my mother didn’t agree. So only
our bathroom is white, because then it’s easier to clean.
Girl: Well, at least your bathroom isn’t green like mine!
Zadanie 3.
Boy: When I was nine years old, our family went camping. On the camping site we met a sixteenyear-old boy, who played the guitar and sang. From that moment I wanted to play the guitar.
I bought my first guitar a year later, and when I was eleven I went to music school. My first
teacher was lazy. He didn’t care about how I was playing. When I was twelve years old, I started
to work with a better teacher. That year, I got the second place in a competition. My second
teacher worked with me by playing exercises. During the next two years I took part in all three
of the competitions that were held in my city, and I won first prizes in two of them.
