TRANSKRYPCJA NAGRAŃ
Zadanie 1.
Tekst 1.
Man:
Well, the storm is over. We can go out now and look around.
Girl:
Oh, these flowers are completely ruined. Mum will be unhappy. Look, there’s
a hole in the fence.
Man:
Yes, but it’s been there for a few weeks now. I just haven’t had the time to repair
it.
Girl:
A lot of branches have fallen and there’s a lot of glass on the ground.
Man:
Oh dear, it’s from the attic window. It’s broken.
Girl:
Don’t you think we should sweep up the pieces of glass?
Man:
Not yet. We’ll do it later. Let’s go round the garden before we start cleaning up.
Girl:
Dad, there’s a large branch up there. The roof may be damaged!
Man:
Let’s have a look.
Girl:
Can you see anything up there?
Man:
Fortunately, the roof is fine. It would cost a fortune to repair it. Hey, what’s that
noise?
Girl:
It’s Snoopy! He’s barking in the basement. He stayed there all the time. Come on,
Snoopy! I’ll let you out.
Man:
He was so quiet there the whole time we were in your room trying to play chess.
Girl:
Poor Snoopy! He’s still shaking with fear.

Man:
Hello listeners! Today we’re talking about the worst holiday ever. Here is our first
caller.
Woman: Good afternoon! I’m Lucy. I bought a coach tour of Norway two months ago.
Of course, I had enough time to think about what to take with me, but instead
of careful planning, I began packing my suitcase just before leaving. I had no idea
what clothes I should take with me, so I decided to check the weather forecast.
I turned on the TV and found out it was going to be quite cold and rainy most of
the time, so I quickly packed a few warm sweaters, two raincoats, three pairs
of boots and my umbrella.
Imagine how surprised I was when it turned out that the whole week in Norway
was very warm and it didn’t rain at all. I was really angry as I had the heaviest
suitcase of all the tourists. What’s worse, I couldn’t leave my warm clothes in the
hotel because we didn’t stay in one place. So every morning I had to carry it from
the hotel to the coach and in the evening from the coach to another hotel. It was
very tiring but at least the attractions we saw were amazing. My holiday was far
from perfect, but it was partly my fault.

Wypowiedź 1.
Boy:
I would like to work as an engineer. I think the job’s really attractive. And I don’t
mean the financial independence that goes with it. For me the most important thing
is to create new, beautiful things. My uncle is an engineer and works on different
projects. I admire the way he makes an architect’s visions come true. I want to learn
how to construct tall buildings, bridges and motorways.
Wypowiedź 2.
Girl:
Both my parents work for a travel agency. They often have to go abroad
on business trips. Visiting other countries is not interesting to me because I’m not
keen on travelling. I dream of setting up my own business. I’d like to be my own
boss. I’m sure it would bring me a lot of satisfaction.
Wypowiedź 3.
Boy:
In the future I would like to build a successful career in sport. I could be a football
player for example. I think it’s a great profession. I dream of playing in the best
football teams. What matters the most is that it’s a well-paid job. Of course, you
have to work hard, but you can afford many luxury items, such as designer clothes
and sports cars.
Wypowiedź 4.
Girl:
My father has his own computer company. He employs a few workers and he
would like me to run the business one day. But working in one place is definitely
not for me. I rather see myself as a journalist. I’d like to visit interesting places all
over the world and tell other people about them.
