PARTICULAR REGULATIONS
1. PURPOSE OF THE EVENT
-
popularization of finswimming among young people as a recreational and profesional sport’s
discipline
integration of finswimming enthusiasts

4. DATE AND PLACE OF THE COMPETITION
Competition will take place in Gdynia, Gulf of Gdańsk – 20 June 2009 (Saturday)
5. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PLACE OF THE COMPETITION
Competition will take place in the Gulf of Gdańsk waters in Gdynia along Nadmorski Boulevard called
after Feliks Nowowiejski. Start and finish - beach next to marina in the city centre. Water depth from 2 to 5
meters. Expected water temperature 17°C - 19°C. There are no sea currents and clarity of water is till 3
meters.
6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Each sport’s club or other sport’s unit can enrol unlimited number of pariticipants. People not belonging to
any club can also participate in the competition.

Age categories:
 Children – 99; 98 (year of birth)
 Teenagers – 97, 96
 Juniors - 95; 94
 Older juniors – 93; 92
 Seniors – 91 and older
 Veterans
(age categories according to CMAS Finswimming International Rules)
Competitors participate in the competition in order according to their year of birth.
All competitors are obligated to have fins.
Snorkel, mask, swimming goggles, monofins at the disrection of competitors, wet suits mandatory below
14°C of water temperature.
Competition will be carried according to Government Regulation from 06.05.1997 Dziennik Ustaw Nr 57.

7. COMPETITION FEE
-
20 PLN fee per person paid during technical briefing or 40 PLN fee per person at the competition
day during registration
organizer does not provide accomodation and feeding
for accomodation at the sport’s hall in Gdynia, Olimpijska Street 5/9 (own sleeping bag needed)
please fill and sent the preliminary application (enclosure 1) till 29. May 2009
8. FINAL CLASSIFICATION
-
INDIVIDUAL - in each age category first three results/females and males separately/ prizes:
diplomas, medals, gifts
TEAM - classification will be calculated as the sum of the best four individual results
(according to the following CMAS World Cup Long Distance Individual Point Table) prizes: diplomas,
cups, gifts

10. ARRANGEMANTS
Participants take part in competition on their own risk. Organizer will not bear responsibility for actions
and injuries caused by participants at the accomodation and competition place.
Organizer may make changes in Particular Regulations up to 24 hours before start.
Concerns which Particular Regulations do not regulate will be discussed during technichal briefing.
Competition Managment reserves the right to final interpretation of the Particular Regulations.
