New Horizons: English and American Studies in the Twenty-First Century.
Częstochowa, April 8th 2014
Call for papers
The Third Annual International Student Conference will be held at the Jan
Długosz University in Częstochowa, Poland, on April 8th, 2014. The aim of the
conference is to encourage undergraduate students to explore current issues and share
their research interests in such areas as general linguistics, including translation studies
and business English, applied linguistics and methodology of teaching foreign languages,
as well as British and American literature and culture studies.
Papers should be presented in English. Each paper will be allotted 15 minutes for
presentation and 5-10 minutes for discussion. The attached registration form and
abstract should be submitted by e-mail to [email protected] by March
16th, 2014. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by March 31st, 2014. The
conference venue will be The English Department at the Jan Długosz University in
Częstochowa, al. Armii Krajowej 13/15, 42-200 Częstochowa. The conference will
begin at 10 a.m. in room 309.
