Life Chain this Sunday, October 5th from 2:00 to 3:00
P.M. along St. Paul Ave. and King George Rd. between
the Brantford General Hospital and Hwy 403. Many
forget that the status quo in Canada is any abortion, at
any time, for any reason, at taxpayer expense. Many
don’t know that over a third (37.4%) of abortions are
done on women who have already had one or more
abortions. Many don’t realize that as a Catholic
Christian we need to defend life and publicly oppose
abortion. Mother Teresa said: “Any country that
accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love but to
use violence to get what they want. This is why the
greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.”

A religious store ‘’Totus Tuus” from Mississauga is
having a sale today in the parish hall after each Mass.
Various religious articles, including Bibles, Rosaries,
books, movies, CD’s and other religious gifts are
available for purchasing.

CWL MEETING will be held on Tuesday, October
7th beginning with the Mass at 7:00 P.M. Recitation of
the Rosary after the Mass.

Polish School
The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School
Board is offering an International Language Elementary
Program this school year. Language classes in Polish
will be provided free of charge for two hours weekly at
St. Mary Catholic Learning Centre at 455 Colborne
Street in Brantford. Polish lessons will take place from
4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Mondays. Junior Kindergarten
to Grade 8 students are welcome to register! There is no
expectation that students be familiar with the language
in order to participate. Enrolment is continuous. Please

I am very happy to share with Parishioners
exciting news. On September 26th the parish received a
very generous grant of $ 29,000.00 from the ExCorde
Foundation of the Diocese of Hamilton. This
foundation was established in 2011 by Bishop Douglas
Crosby, O.M.I and the main purpose of this foundation
is to provide significant financial support for parish
projects and programs in our Diocese. The foundation’s
committee determines criteria for the disbursement of
grants based on a variety of factors which include the
financial situation of a parish. I am pleased to announce
that the ExCorde Foundation approved our application
for financial help. $ 20,000.00 is being used in our
Elevator project to pay off the loan and $ 9,000.00 is
covering the cost of 2 new furnaces installed in the
rectory and a new water heater for the parish hall. St.
Joseph’s Parish is very grateful for the grant.

Pragnę podzielić się z parafianami wspaniałą
wiadomością. Dnia 26 września br. otrzymaliśmy z
fundacji ExCorde (Z Serca) czek na kwotę $ 29,000.00.
Fundacja ta została założona przez Ordynariusza
Diecezji Hamilton, biskupa Douglas’a Crosby w roku
2011. Ma ona na celu finansowe wspieranie parafii
naszej diecezji w realizacji różnych projektów.
Jesteśmy ogromnie wdzięczni i szczęśliwi, że fundacja
zaakceptowała naszą aplikację i przyznała nam donację
$ 20,000.00 na spłatę pożyczki zaciągniętej na budowę
windy. Otrzymaliśmy ponadto $ 9,000.00 na zakup
boilera do kuchni w sali parafialnej i dwóch nowych
pieców na plebanię (poprzednie po 28 latach
zaprzestały funkcjonowania).

uprzejmie informuje o rozpoczęciu Międzynarodowych
Kursów Językowych dla dzieci ze szkół podstawowych.
Bezpłatny kurs języka polskiego oferowany jest w St.

w godzinach od 4:30 to 6:30 wieczorem. Przyjmowane
