The Conference will take place at the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of Gdansk) Bażyńskiego 4,

There are several ways of getting to our Faculty:
If you travel by:
plane (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport) : http://www.airport.gdansk.pl/passenger
You may need transport from the Airport. You can get to our Faculty:

by taxi. You can catch a cab in front of the terminal. Use official taxis, which have the
name and telephone number of the taxi company on the side of the door and on the
top of the taxi (beside the occupied/unoccupied light).
Additionally, here is a telephone to the City Plus Neptun Taxi 196 86.

by bus: get on the bus no. 110 from the Port Lotniczy bus stop (the bus stop is near the
terminal) to Wrzeszcz PKP bus stop (the end of the line);
From here you may switch to SKM (Fast Urban Railway). SKM runs from platform no 2 ,
direction: Gdynia. Then you need to get out at Gdańsk Przymorze – Uniwersytet stop, it is the
second stop. From the platform you may see the Gdansk University Campus. It is within
walking distance.

Remember: Public transport tickets must be punched before travelling. Tickets must be validated at
the start of a journey at the yellow machines at the entrance to the stations (SKM tickets) or on board
buses and board trams.
Where can I buy the ticket?
Tickets can be bought at most newspaper stands and kiosks with a sign reading “Bilety” , except SKM
tickets. It is possible to buy a ticket from the driver. If you want to buy ticket from tram or bus driver
you need to have exact change.
At Gdansk Wrzeszcz Station SKM should be purchased from SKM ticket office next to the
International ticket office (near the entrance of the Station).
In case of SKM (Fast Urban Railway) automatic ticket machines (with English, German and Polish
language support) are available at every SKM platform. If you buy tickets from special vending
machines, there is no need to punch the ticket, the vending machines take only coins (Polish zloty)
If you arrive by:
train You may get off the train at Gdansk Railway Station –Main Station (Dworzec Główny,
Gdańsk Główny) or at Gdansk Wrzeszcz Station. Your next step should be switching to SKM (Fast
Urban Railway) heading towards Gdynia and getting off the Gdansk Przymorze Uniwersytet station.
From the platform of Gdansk Przymorze – Uniwersytet station you may see our campus. It is within
walking distance.
Remember:
SKM runs from platform no 2 at Gdansk Wrzeszcz Station.
SKM at Gdansk Railway Station –Main Station are platforms no 3, 4,5.

Remember:

platforms).

International ticket office (near the entrance of the Station).

by tram, you can take the tram no. 6, 11, 12 from the Dworzec Główny tram stop (direction:
Oliwa, Zaspa, Jelitkowo). Next, you need to get off at Uniwersytet tram stop. You may see
our Faculty building on your left.
Go right and walk through the tunnel straight ahead to the cross roads. On your right you will
see a landmark University Library. Then turn left and on your right there will be Faculty of
Social Sciences building.
You may also get off at Bażynskiego tram stop. You can see Gdansk University Campus from
the stop, it will be on your left. If you will get off at this stop, please go straight and you will
see our Faculty on your right.
