ANNA JANCZEWSKA-RADWAN
Graduated the University of Economics in Katowice in 1977. She gained her first professional
experience working at the “Centrozap” and “Metalexport” Foreign Trade Enterprise and managing a branch of
Foreign Trade Enterprise “Dynamo” in Katowice.
In 1990, together with her husband, she established the “MEDIM” company.
Today “MEDIM” is one of the largest companies which provide the Health Service with medical equipment. The
company employs 80 highly qualified people, has its offices in Warsaw, branches in 10 largest cities in Poland
and its own warehouses.
“MEDIM” is the exclusive commercial representative of renowned producers of the highest world-class medical
equipment from Germany, Switzerland and USA. With a view to improving the doctors’ skills Medim has
created the “EndoEkspert” Academy of Minimally-Invasive Surgery which contributes to organization of highly
specialized trainings for medical staff.
In 1991 Anna Janczewska-Radwan was awared the title of THE FIRST LADY OF BUSINESS by the “Zwierciadło”
magazine.
In 1993 and 1995 the “MEDIM” company was among the best Polish companies to have won the “Golden
Grosz” competition, organized by a weekly magazine “Przekrój” and the Center for Economic Expertise at the
University of Economics in Poznań, for highly dynamic company development and maintaining of high position
in the market.
In 1997 the Polish Business Club awarded Anna Janczewska-Radwan with the title BUSINESSWOMAN 97. In the
same year the National Foundation of Women Business Owners in Washington awarded Anna JanczewskaRadwan with the title WOMAN TO WATCH and included her in the group “The Leading Women Entrepreneurs

of the World.” In 1998 Anna Janczewska-Radwan established the Polish Association of Women Business
Owners and was its director from 1998 till 2001.
In May 1998 “MEDIM” received the “Heart for Heart” diploma awarded by the Main Chamber of Nurses and
Midwives for understanding and supporting the changes in Polish nursing.

On 16 January 1999 the “MEDIM” company, managed by Anna Janczewska-Radwan, received the nomination
of the Business Center Club for the MAIN PRIZE in the POLISH BUSINESS LEADER 1998 competition. In March
1999 the Board of Editors of the “Trybuna Śląska” newspaper awarded Anna Janczewska-Radwan with a place
in the LEADERS LODGE 1998.
In 2001 the monthly magazine “Home & Market” ranked Anna Janczewska-Radwan among the 50 most
influential women in Poland.
In 2002 Anna Janczewska-Radwan completed a one-year course “Management 2002,” which is a program for
managerial skills development and improving the effectiveness of companies– participants, organized by the
Canadian Institute of Management in cooperation with the Harvard Business School Publishing.
In 2003 Anna Janczewska-Radwan became the Vice-President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Medical
Devices “POLMED.”
In 2004 – 2008 Anna Janczewska-Radwan was a Member of the Council on Public Procurement, directed by the
President of Public Procurement Office.
In 2006 Anna Janczewska-Radwan received a diploma for contribution to the development of videosurgery in

Poland, awarded for the 15 anniversary of the Section of Videosurgery of the Polish Surgeons Association.
In 2008 Anna Janczewska-Radwan took the position of the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of
Medical Devices “POLMED.”
Since 1993 Medim has been an active member of BCC.
