AWTERM - WOOL BASED INSULATION SYSTEM

The AWTERM System possesses the Polish Technical Approval AT-15-4483/2010.
Mineral wool constitutes the insulating element; the finishing layer is made from mineral
plaster or silicate plaster.
AWTERM insulation can be performed in two versions called AWTERM - MINERAL and
AWTERM - SILICATE.
In AWTERM - MINERAL, FASROCK boards should be used with the code: MW-EN
13162-T4-DS(TH)-CS(10)40-TR15-WS-WL(P)-MU1 compliant with PN-EN 13162:2002
with the change AC:2006, Class A1 reaction to fire pursuant to PN-EN 13501-1+A1:2010
or other non-flammable boards made from mineral wool introduced to trade and use in
construction, meeting the requirements specified in point 3.2 of the approval.
In AWTERM - SILICATE, FASROCK boards should be used with the code: MW-EN
13162-T5-DS(TH)-CS(10\Y)40-TR100-WS-WL(P)-MU1 compliant with PN-EN
13162:2002 with the change AC:2006, Class A1 reaction to fire pursuant to PN-EN
13501-1+A1:2010 or other non-flammable boards made from mineral wool introduced to
trade and use in construction, meeting the requirements specified in point 3.2 of the
approval.
The set of products used to insulate external walls of buildings with the AWTERM System
is intended for use on mineral based materials, in buildings under construction and
already in operation.

l AWTERM - MINERAL
The finishing layer can constitute mineral plaster ASPOL ROLL-PUTZ or ASPOL A100 (woodworm), which can be purchased in two versions: white and without titanium
white. The version without white consists of a cheaper material which can be used,
for example, if the elevation will be painted. Mineral plaster is available in different
granulations.
In the AWTERM - MINERAL System, there is no need to use the primer under the
mineral finishing layer, however, if white plaster will be left, the white Adhesive Primer
ASPOL OS-1 BIAŁA should be used to support and cover the mesh which prevents
the formation of gaps.
l AWTERM - SILICATE
The finishing layer can constitute silicate plaster produced by MATRES REVCO,
available in two different structures: STRUKTURPLEISTER SILIKAT (woodworm) and
SPACHTEL-PUTZ SILIKAT (lamb). The silicate finishing layer requires the use of the
KWARTSCOAT SILIKAT silicate priming plaster.

MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM
Insulation work cannot be conducted during atmospheric precipitation, on elevations exposed
to strong sunlight, during strong winds and at temperatures below +50C and above +250C.
Protective netting is recommended.

The System products should not be replaced by products manufactured by other
producers. The quality guarantee covers only the use of all the recommended elements of
the insulation system.
All the System products possess certification of hygiene, and the System itself meets the
requirements of the European Technical Approval.
SILICATE PLASTER!!!
The water absorption and structure of the substrate and the variable atmospheric
conditions, particularly during application of the product, can cause small differences in the
shade, which shall not constitute grounds for submitting a complaint.
It is not advisable to use dark colours in places exposed to strong sunlight.
Silicate products contain potassium silicate solutions, which may cause irreversible
discolorations on glass, ceramic, resinous, wood, metal and stone surfaces. Prior to
starting work, please thoroughly secure all surfaces which you will not be working on.
